Dear Wali, this was a great collaboration and I loved every bit of this discussion.
Canada vs UAE (Dubai) comparisons have always been a frequent topic of many of my discussions and while Dubai has given me a lot and continues to do so, I can confidently say that Canada is home ❤.
Thank you everyone for watching and hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it.

Great podcast! Didn't want to brag, but got my PR in 6 months! Started in Nov 2015, landed in Canada Sept 2016 via Express Entry FSW. My CRA score was 470. Things are definitely different now.

It’s fantastic to see Kubeir Kamal on your show! Many of us have had similar journeys. I started exploring Canadian immigration around the launch of Express Entry and by 2017-18 found myself stuck - the points threshold was high, and I didn’t meet all the criteria. Despite that, I kept researching, applied on Job Bank, and explored PNP options, staying active in a few Facebook groups that were invaluable for learning the ins and outs.
In 2019, I unexpectedly lost my job in Dubai. Yet, within a month, I received a job offer from Canada. The entire journey has felt surreal, almost unbelievable to me, and to others too. But in 2021, I finally landed in Canada, and today, I proudly call it my home.

This is the only video I’ve found which is talking sense and the practical challenges and difficulties for every paths in Canada a person can face. If not giving a second thought then that person might be having a useless brain 🧠. May Allah Swt reward you both and I’ll be trying to have a chat with Khubeir bhai through his channel or contact. I went to canada on a startup visa and started a tech innovation business called DMInteract and we have a showroom in mississauga. I also have a business in dubai silicon oasis and we have a tech business showroom with visual products in dubai as well. the guy in the interview is correct. during my work permit renewal, the rfe's were tough and despite being in business for more than 12 years i was really grilled with questions from IRCC. I received atleast 20 questions and my partners also received around 20 questions which were different from mine. At one stage I was also a little angry because I have a real business with actual revenues earned in Canada. However when people started asking me ridiculous questions on moving to Canada on startup visa i realized its good that they are vetting the people coming to Canada.

Yes there are some issues that needs improvements especially health care. But than now its on us 1st & 2nd generation to come up with ideas to improve health care, instead of just complaining.
Other than that Canada is the best Country to live & ti call home.

Canada has only one thing to offer - a powerful passport and then you leave the country with a fall back option.
In Canada, i feel poor living in Ottawa with monthly pay of 8000 CAD in hand.
Within 1 year of moving from US to Canada, i realized big mistake i had done. Many of my friends came to Canada from US recommended me not to do it,but i did not listen to them.
The only reason i am in canada is since i am born in India, it will take me 50 years or more to get green card in US. So better get Canadian passport so at least i dont have to get H1B stamped on my passport after every 3 years.

They will use all their logics to convince people to not to come to Canada when they are sitting there. Upon being asked why dont you think of moving out of Canada they will give one SAMPLE answer that we came in good times. MY LOGIC IS THAT, HARD TIMES ARE PARTS AND PARCELS OF LIFE AND YOU CANNOT AVOID IT TO GET TO THE LADDER OF SUCCESS (thats what I have also experienced), and working hard in an Ocean is always better than to navigating through the small ponds.

Probably one of the most accurate and genuince comparison of CA vs DXB. If ones approach to life is salary and having house help then that person or family should not move to Canada. Like Kubier said, if you are not willing to challenge, change mindset about world, then DXB is best.
CA offers opportunities and life beyond salary and househelp. Its hard to explain, thats why you see tons of DXB residents commenting about life in DXB vs Ppl from CA.
Kubier has put nicely the association:
CAs becomes your Home. You dont need to prove anyone whether its good or bad, while association with DXB remains a transaction for the most part.

Major reverse migration is there in Canada with poor wages, lack of jobs and poor political situation so moving to countries like Australia, UK is much better with more acceptance , better jobs, weather , sports and yes no basement!

      @AskKubeir หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      UK - weather? 😅
UK has very limited and difficult PR options. Its a very small country. Very congested and crowded.
But yes each country will have its pros and cons.
Eventually it is about your expectations from the place and what you do to achieve your goals.
      All the best

reverse migration is only for people who came on temporary worker permits, fake intl students & visit visas holders who are applying fake asylum seekers to become PR...migration to Canada will continue whether Indians want to complain about it not; people are leaving India for a reason - no jobs as well, I don't see anyone hating on India like that.
just last month, I know a family friend moved to Canada from Dubai, he was earning around very good salary here in Dubai; but money isn't everything in life; so he moved there as he is a qualified CA, he got a job in less than 3 weeks after his arrival in Toronto - with a big firm as well...if you have a skillset to offer in Canada, you will be fine...
Moreover, now it'll be difficult for intl students to work & for companies to hire foreign workers at low salaries

Why not talk about Indian Visa Policy changes every time Indian Modi gets upset. It's because of PM Trudeau that more than 3 million Indian newcomers under international students have got the opportunity to enter canada, and everything has been controlled by Indians New comer. OUR Candian HR Recruiters are all Indians. They are hired by our Canadians employers but these Temp HR Recruiters inly hires Indians. And because of Trudeau, more than Million Indian students are protesting to change our Polich or demanding PR. If it's USA, they will be removed by now. These behaviors of Temp Indians would, in the long run, would backlash, and other countries would deny entry for Indians that's for sure. Now, some countries say " NO" to Indians, such as Dubai. SPAIN, JAPAN ETC😊

This is one person's experience. While its narrative has specifics related to the unique aspects of this person, the following facts of Canada can not be ignored since it is rhe base and not driven by personal narratives:
    1. Canada is a huge country by area ( bigger than continental US) but over 80% is extremely cold, frozen, and not fit for h6man living
    2. Such a large country has just 29-30 million population. Therefore it does not have a critical mass to provide jobs or opportunities for even 2 million extra people. Australia has the identical problem. So taxes are very high and the country can not only sustain small immigration numbers
    3. About 80% of white Canadians have dual US citizenship. Most white STEM and professional Canadians either work in rge US or for US companies in the US. 90% of STEM Asians ( India, China), leave Canada within 5 years.
    4. Canada's main economy is extractive ( oil, gas, minerals). Of these excepr for oil flowing into the US, nothing else is sellable to the rest of the world since its base cost is high and distances are huge making the prices very high. With just 30 million population, it's Servicw economy is tiny and only fools will hope for a long career in rhe service sector if at all possible
    5. The past year, the mask of Canadians being " nice" has come off as prices for everything has skyrocketed creating anger amongst Canadians who can not afford many things nor leave. Therefore racial abuse of nonwhite immigrants has dramatically increased. Everyday new TH-cam videos of racial abuses are going viral.

Where are you getting your numbers from ?? What are you smoking, bro ?? ... 80% of canadians have US citizenship ... lollzzz .... no, that's totally wrong ... Canadians are very proud, and they don't need US citizenship .. it's even ranked above USA ... some Canadians enjoy the luxury of working in the USA because of NAFTA .. Canada's GDP is over $2 trillion ... they have an abundance of natural resources ... biggest export partners are USA , China, and UK ... there are a lot of business opportunities and jobs in Cananda ... the mindset of new immigrants needs to change .... Canada is the 5th country with most millionaires ... Canada has 10 provinces and 3 Union territories, and it is enough for such a small population ... Canada never aimed to have 300 million population, so for the population, it's more than enough space .... almost all Western countries are going through inflation and high cost problems, but Canada's inflation has gone down, and it's getting better with each passing day.
