He’s partly right; but there’s more than just the breath. Those little pinpoints of light in your eyes is the rest of it. Those lights enter and leave the body simultaneously with the breath. Those lights are the visible body of the soul and they show up with the first breath and leave with the last breath. I was a registered nurse and for the last 15 years I worked in a nursing home and witnessed many deaths and I noticed that phenomena . It’s 100% that it happens like that. The eyes are the window of our soul is a fact.

I received His breath while underwater. At eight years old, trying to swim from the diving board all the way to the end of the pool. I could never do it. One day underwater, I was praying really hard to make it, and felt my lungs filled with air. I then continued to the end of the pool and halfway back to the diving board. I could never do it again. It has never happened since. But as an adult, it strikes me that the son of God, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, was showing me the truth and answered my prayer. 🙏🏻
Matthew 19:26, Jesus says, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.". Meaning with God's power, anything is achievable, even what might seem impossible to human

Wrong, there is no such thing as a soul independent of itself.
The body is the house, the spirit is the light live, making the body a living soul. Take away the Spirit and the body is an empty vessel. The Spirit returns back to where it came from.
Think about it like water, H2O There is no water when separating the two elements.

Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the basar (flesh), but are unable to kill the nefesh (soul); but rather fear the One who is able to destroy both basar and nefesh in Gehinnom.- Jesus
The soul is therefore seemingly separate from Spirit, and one can only receive the gift of the Ruach haKodesh (Great Wind/Holy Spirit) through the blood of Jesus/Yeshua in the waters of baptism/mikvot. You must believe, confess, repent, be baptized in His Name, and live faithfully humbling yourself to a renewed mind daily.

The soul is the living house. Remove the spirit or breath that house is empty.
Breath the breath back in or fill with the Spirit and that house becomes a living soul again.
Destroy the house, the Spirit or breath can no longer make a soul together with that house.
We can receive a whole new flesh, but that is a new soul and house. even though the Spirit is old and remains.

I started reading The Bible in Hebrew mixed with English , The Jewish Ortodox Bible. I found that soul is nefesh and ruach is neshamah. Many unbelievers grow their nefesh with worldly teaching. Believers activates neshamah by reading the Bible to become teshuva in mind. Teshuva of mind in effect changes daily action and moral. Lord Yeshua said, men do not live by bread alone, but by every D'var comes out from HaShem (expressed through HIS prophets). Chen v'chesed from HaShem be with you ❤

Because the more I studied on the difference, the more I realized that they translated the spirit, the meaning better. Sure, there are a few bugs in the translation, but it reveals a lot of secrets that the original language hides. Or rather, the original language seems to hide, because of the greater context, once revealed, was then placed into the translation.

Not so, really. We are spirits, but broken... now we have the spirit, which is the seat of our real will, dead to God, and the soul.
The spirit, the eternal rationale soul, and the 'soul',the animal sentience that every living thing shares, should really be one. Strong's dictionary makes this clear.
So, in essence, we are spirit/soul and body. The task for the Christian is to make spirit and soul at one again, in the 'image of God' our Maker.

Hebrew is very similar to the Greek. Spirit=Pneuma means breath in Greek. Soul=Psyche in Greek means our soul our very essence or being. God made us to have both a body and a soul, but humankind also has the Spirit of God working inside them. The source of life is God's Spirit (breath). God’s breath, our pneuma is not our psyche. God’s Spirit gives us the image and likeness of God.

I used to think about how as a child I seemed to carry a connection with my inner world with me in everything that i did, without having to step back. I did learn a lot about how to free my inner world from stress, worry, and anger from Buddhism, but my real desire was to be able to regain that natural state of being in connection in all of my activities.
Your explanations in this video clarified a lot for me.

Rabbi, I am a believer in Yehoshua and this gives me a much betteer understanding of so many things in my spiritual journey that I never knew in this way with such clarity. That brings to mind the Torah portion from Deuteronomy 4: 4 - 8 Deu 4:4 But ye that did cleave unto Yahuah Elohaykem are alive every one of you this day.
Deu 4:5 Behold, I have taught you commandments and judgments, even as Yahuah Elohai commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
Deu 4:6 Guard therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear את all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
Deu 4:7 For what nation is there so great, who has Elohiym so nigh unto them, as Yahuah Elohaynu is in all things that we call upon him for?
Deu 4:8 And what nation is there so great, that has commandments and judgments so righteous as all this Torah, which I set before you this day?

As a blue ray starseed I had to push though years of Narcissistic military people in my family, after I got some of them in check, I married a severe BPD, my current wife, after twenty years of abuse I got her in check, another eight years abuse by narcissistic petty tyrant bosses in relatavely high level corporate world, got them in check. Now I’m chilling waiting for a new adventure, for whatever reason I’m looking for friction with the global subconscious, not getting scared and am getting a kick out of it. Again not sure what’s next but I might be done with the abusers in my life, bosses, colonel parents, wife, all in check, they all saw what they have done. The key was to have them empathize to your emotional trauma. Narcissists communicate via internal archetypes of people in their head, very inflexible. For example Matt is clumsy, Beth is stupid, etc. they create internal archetypes of people , when they talk to you they actually refer to their twisted representation of you in their head. It’s incredibly rigid, my advice, have them understand that they hurt you, at some point when they see it they can’t unsee it, it’s just gonna take twenty years of everyday work and abuse.I never left anyone of my abusive relationships because I have a calling for this shit. Upside is that if you are in the 1% and push through, I recommend people actually leave this relationship, for most the fight is not worth it, the recovered BPD will have mad respect for you, after all is done they will see you for what you are and realize they abused you and the dirty games the played and they will be deeply sorry, make them say sorry verbally multiple times over the years, at first they won’t say it, than they will say it but not believe it, and when they see it, that’s the best feeling in the world, their eye sight changes, they don’t have the reptile abusive stare no more. Last advise and prolly most important, absolutely make sure that you both agree that they are abusers. It’s not easy to have a narcissist agree to that, but when they do, start bringing it up, they will explode and hate that you call them abusers, than you revert to previous agreement remind them that you were hurt and they are the abusers, drive them crazy with this point until tenor motherboard can’t take it.Thousand repetitions of this ringer the point across

Interesting video, Rabbi Jacobson. Love how you explain the soul as a flame. The word for ”sun” is ”sol” and in ancient Khemeic (Egyptian) Spirituality the sun symbolizes light. As a Panentheistic Essene, I believe Yeshua's message was (before Paul and Rome mixed his teachings with theirs) that we are all the Sun of Hashem and that the Christ is the frequency we must tap into, that's is truly the second coming of Christ is within us. John 17:21: ““I pray not only for these, but also for those who will trust in me because of their word, that they may all be one. Just as you, Father, are united with me and I with you, I pray that they may be united with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me. Here Yeshua is saying everything is one with GOD

Jesus is Messiah. All praise and glory to God.
Exodus 14:13: "And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation [yeshu'ah] of the LORD, which he will shew to you today..."
1 Samuel 2:1: "And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation [yeshu'ah]."
2 Samuel 22:51: "He is the tower of salvation [yeshu'ah] for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore."
Psalm 9:14: "That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation [yeshu'ah]."
Psalm 13:5: "But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation [yeshu'ah]."
Psalm 62:1: "Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation [yeshu'ah]."
Isaiah 12:2: "Behold, God is my salvation [yeshu'ah]; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation [yeshu'ah]."
Isaiah 52:7: "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation [yeshu'ah]; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!"
Jonah 2:9: "But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation [yeshu'ah] is of the LORD."
    Read Isaiah 53, for example.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. But I have to write something about meditation. Fortunately, I've only listened it, not trying to meditate but in spite of the childchood trauma kicked in hardly. Not every mother wants her child, not every mother can't wait to see her child. I don't think I'm the only one. Please, be more discerning in the future. I would add to this meditation - for all who weren't properly welcomed by their parents in this world - a word from Jeremiah 1:5: "“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you".

Feelings are honest, but don't tell the whole story. Later on, a mother may grow to love her child, I'm sure the love grows and grows. Don't let those time periods define you and who you are wanting to be. We are all children in a sense, growing stronger in life, wiser, and there are fewer limits than commonly taught. We should rise above conventional wisdom and love, prayerfully finding our limits and growth path. Negative feelings can be an honest parallel, but not the groove that is the main objective. This is like a kind of shrewdness and good life management that I've learned. Hope this helps.

And for all struggling and even abusive mothers I should say even most of them for MOST OF THE TIME will wrap their baby in a blanket and protect it from any obvious threat ( I know this isn’t always the case but it is usual even amongst the rough, I say this even though babies have been found in dumpsters and worse).
