@krati shrivastava crest of curvature or height of contour is the greatest convexity or bulge farthest from the root axis line. It can be defined as the line encircling the tooth at its greatest bulge. Every surface has a crest of curvature. For maxillary central, labially and lingually at cervical one third. On proximal surfaces on their contact areas.
in a newly erupted incisor, the incisal surface has an incisal ridge which has a smooth convexity. but with continuous use, the roundedness of this ridge disappears and it becomes sharp. now it is called incisal edge.

From which book do you get the information and measurements of the tooth?
The measurements have been taken from Wheeler's Dental Anatomy by Ash & Nelson. They may slightly vary in different books.

Pls help to differentiate betwnn incisal ridge and incisal edge
in a newly erupted incisor, the incisal surface has an incisal ridge which has a smooth convexity. but with continuous use, the roundedness of this ridge disappears and it becomes sharp. now it is called incisal edge.
Also make vedio for mandible teeths

Incase of lateral incisor the que come diff btw central and lateral??
yes more commonly... even if the ques comes on lateral incisor, u write about the central incisors with all the differences..
Thank you so much
nice
In incisal aspect, isn't labiolingual dimension greater than mesiodistal?
no mesiodistal dimension is more than labiolingual... though in mandibular incisors labiolingual dimension is more than mesiodistal..
