It's been interesting to watch this game evolve from a college project with a simple objective, into a puzzler/adventure game with an end "boss fight". *In my opinion,* it's a shame the current developers basically abandon the main premise of the game to solve the last few chapters. If I were directing the development of this game I would make the solution to the puzzles dependent on the crafting and survival skills you learn along the way and I don't mean the ability to craft stronger weapons.
Regardless, Drae's method of instinctive bumbling through to the end has been probably the most enjoyable of all the play-throughs of this game.
Yah how did this go from a relaxing build & float game to a tedious puzzle-platformer? Devs took a hard right turn somewhere and I don't think I like it.

@@robertlyon I like it for the options of doing it or not, I mean nothing forces us to play the story IF we don't want the tech and just want to float about forever.
Then of course we can still float around forever after the storyline is done which will be my intentions.
That being said the story itself is jarring to say the least.
it's always sad when a story ends, but you know what they say: When one door closes.... another opens! Thank you for a raft playlist of fun and laughter, you are one of my favorites! I hope you continue this series, because it is a great one! Thank you again for being a wonderful entertainer!
If you plan on making another episode if you run back to the first area, the radio tower, you can find a blueprint for a recycler at the top and use the trading stations on the medium islands and do some trading stuff, would be neat to see and the items given out for trading stations are really cool
Utopia might be the hardest one but thanks to your guides, when I'll get back home from holiday, I'll be prepared for the new locations.
Titanium respawns btw. Go back to the dome city with the robots. Theres a boatload of titanium there

those flooded skyscrapers reminds me of this crazy dream I had last January. Me and my dad (who's been dead for years rip) were stuck on the 40th floor of a building and the water was still rising. there were 20 more floors to the top and the one we were one was now treading water. for a few months, the water stopped rising and each floor was divided by the survivor's standing in society over that time, with the rich elites at the top. My father and I were beginning a revolution to overthrow the top floor, but we had to incrementally climb each floor which came with new challenges. We lost him, brutally on the 55th floor, which inspired the revolution to ignite like dynamite, just as the waters began to rise again. We took down the 59th floor as the water actually reached it. Their crocodiles got loose and devoured nearly everybody, so then it was up to me to finish what we started. Sunburnt, starving, beaten, and bloody, I took down the rest and threw them to the crocs as the last of the building got swallowed by the rising ocean, leaving me all alone, on a piece of a table, drifting aimlessly to sea

Drae, I know it's not your usual thing for this channel but I would love to see you do a brand new, full playthrough of this game now that all the content is more or less released. You and survival games are a match made in heaven for my entertainment and content consumption
You need to go back to tangaroa. There is a secret floor -20 in the elevator near plantation. And the crane still work in the loading bay, just move the boxes around and you can get several titanium nuggets
This is a game I never expected to like, and I'm so glad I ended up watching you play it because I've loved this series. Thanks for the videos!
This game has gone from such a small content raft builder to a full fledged survival story driven game. I love it! The Devs truly have done well with this one

there is no journey anymore. nothing to do in the game.
heck, even utopia doesn't change. all npc are just crowded in the upper portion.
they just wanted to finish the game and move onto another cash grab.

I feel like some of the plot is a little confusing but basically the people who were in the ice caps fled to the Radio tower and might have Gone to Balboa island before going somewhere else ? People who were on Caravan town fled due to sickness and maybe have been attacked by some people on Tangaroa?

Rumour has it the rocket ship is eluding to the series expanding into space or the devs making a very similar game set in space.
At least that platforming is more forgiving than the Pitios Ruins were in Final Fantasy XV.

Seems a bit silly to unlock titanium tools at the end of the game basically, but I guess it let's you randomly explore without needing to worry as much about tool durability.
But by that point there's no more reason to keep playing ...New BP at the end is just stupid.

I love this game but if this is the final chapter why is it the end where you get a backpack blueprint and titanium tools?
yeah, wondering the same thing lol, but i guess it's like a reward to not have to worry as much about durability/inventory now for randomly exploring? idk
@@DragoNate How many players are going to just do random exploring now that they finished the story? I know early in the game inventory management is a pain in the ass with the small amount you can carry and the little the first chest holds. Titanium tools yeah should be late in the game, but maybe not the last chapter. Same with the backpack. Who knows...maybe they currently think this is the last chapter, but maybe they have other things plan for after the main story. One can hope!
@@rynnthedragonrider Yeah, exactly. I mean, some definitely will, there are people who just like creating & stuff in games like this, but I wouldn't say it's the majority of the players.
A new chapter or something after would be really cool to see!
@@DragoNate That's why they also have a sandbox mode. I really would like to see something more cause that would give a good reason for the new blueprints myself cause when I finish the story, I probably won't play more unless I restart to play with someone.

there's a map which marks the location of each code it's on the outside wall in the front of the towere that you need the code fore
That's not how physics works. Either the scales are balanced, or one's at the bottom. There aren't different levels of balance
