Dude you remind me a lot of what I went through im 22 right now and just decided to quit kratom and drinking for good. Still smoking weed and vaping but I'm through the worst of withdrawals and now its the mental game. I'm always in a bad mood, my family frustrates me now and I used to be a lot happier on kratom. I know it takes time for the brain to heal. Peace and love ✌

Why you decided to quit Kratom? 🙂

Especially being so young. You'll recover a lot quicker and can still go on to have a happy and productive life. But that's the trick tho. You'll think oh it wasn't that bad. KNOW and understand every time you quit it gets harder and harder. The first time is a kind of free pass. I remember seeing HORRID reports and think it wasn't that bad for me. You only get one outta jail card free with drugs. Run for your life and don't ever come back. 💜

@@springrain9438 thank you i just read this. I am sober from kratom, alcohol, and nicotine now and I feel a lot better. Wont go back to the green sludge

@@nofriendszone711 Amen!!! Don't ever come back. And if you DO slip. Nip it in the butt as fast as possible. I just heard him say in another video I'm watching. His dad told him "doing drugs is 5 years of fun. Then FORTY years of paying dues"! You don't have to do that now! You should be very proud and don't let your guard down. Be proud of not being into drugs but remember to always have compassion on those who have made the mistake of partaking. I'm so stinkin proud of you! Best news I've had in a long while. Thank you for sharing and getting back to me.. You have your whole life ahead of you! Peace and many blessings to you and yours! Also hoping he's ok but I have such a bad feeling in my stomach. Really hoping to hear from him soon. Keep him in his prayers. Also, one of the biggest tips to staying off is forgiving yourself, having gratitude every morning for the simple things, legs that use etc, and stay humble. Thanks again for listening to my rambling. Not trying to act like you don't know things. But these are the things I would tell my 22 your old self if I could. 💜

@@loveistheanswer5924 I decided to quit because I hated taking a spoonful every 30 minutes just to feel normal. And looking back on it now I think it was having really negative effects in my physical and mental health

man this hit home for me.. albeit i took a few turns but the destination roughly ending the same. Huge huge music guy. Pretty much started smoking and creating music around 14. And i had that adderall moment as well. (30mg for my small ass). I actually have been prescribed it for a few years. I struggle with being responsible with taking it as directed sometimes but it really has done so much good overall. ADD has been a huge issue for me. I can manage the symptoms without anything, but it never compares to taking my medication. ADD and a addictive personallity is just a package deal that is a never ending battle. Currently 8 days off of kratom and marijuana (delta 8 i still use sometimes) and your channel really has made me feel not so alone with it. ❤

Hey Dude, big fan of the videos. I have a similar story. Gabor Mate says that the “I had a good childhood” line rarely ever stands up to scrutiny. Addiction is a response to some kind of trauma. Obviously this not true in every case but it might be worth looking more closely into your pre-hormonal-Beatles phase for reasons you have addictive tendencies. Who knows, not really my business but thanks for the vids

You can SO do this! Pain is pain. My son will soon be graduating too and I always tell him to remember that on his worst day that at least he'll never be a single widowed woman. One of the lowest positions in society. The Word constantly instructs to help the widows and orphans. When I was younger, I thought it was for financial reasons. NO! Its because of how single women (widowed or not) and their children get treated. I'm not trying to take away from your pain. It's hell for everyone to finally kick but I'm trying to get you to realize it could be so much worse, and for your children. Being humble and having gratitude every day goes a long way. You also described having the love of your life. The self hate and the constant film that flashes in our minds when we come off isn't real. You are an amazingly blessed man. Own it and thank God every day. Use this to help you to understand it's not nearly as bad as it feels and seems. Peace and many blessings to you and your beautiful family friend.
EDIT: Do you know how RARE it is to be with the love of your life? Most people NEVER even get to experience that!! Let alone be married to them and at our age! You are a very blessed man! Majority of people are NOT even in love with their partner.
