So many restaurants and bars on Mombasa _island_ have changed beyond recognition or even disappeared: Little Chef, Fontanella, Tarboush, Casablanca. The only calm restaurant + nightlife club left is Bella Vista. What a pity. 😢

Some of those residential houses need a paint job..theyre an eyesore..the general in frastructure,inner city roads and pavements need urgent refurbishing!! Mombaa need an NMS managing the city..Joho has been very useless!!

If you want to avoid Muslim call of prayer keep away from the coastal areas. You sound biased when you say not hearing Adhan (not Muadhin as you call it ) is a privilege. You stay in Mombasa but you don't appreciate the customs and the culture of the natives.
