So happy to see this, the tricks he did were all still smooth, fast, and big but felt much more down to earth. He didn't make me think 'holy shit I could never do that' like some other skaters do, not too steezy or robotic. I found this very refreshing and enjoyable, especially coming from one of the most influential skateboarders ever who is nearing old age. I hope Tony Hawk knows how much he means to nearly everyone involved with skateboarding, heavily or casually, he deserves all the praise and respect he gets because he's truly earned it through all he has done. He must know that he is a legend, that himself, and his name, will never be forgotten. That he is forever cemented in individuals' hearts and minds, as well as our world and its history.

In my teens when my friends and I were hardcore into skating we didn’t like Tony Hawk because we saw his style as old school. Now twenty one years later none of my friend or I skate anymore. But Tony hawk at his age is still going strong. I appreciate him so much more now, what a legend!

Growing up, Tony was just a vert skater to me. I knew he could skate street but vert was his thing! Like how many vert tricks did he invent?! But seeing him literally shred the berrics street park was insane! That's how you know he is THE birdman. He completely shredded this street park. No I change my mind, he completley annihilated this street park! 51 years old and he is still KILLING IT. We were well over compensated for receiving this video. We NEED to give the berrics back something in exchange for melting our eyeballs with Tony's presence.
I just got one a few months ago for my 32nd birthday, haven't ridden in about a decade myself, already picked back up most of the flatground tricks I had on lock back then and even added a couple new ones to the mix.
Yeah I started again in my mid twenties (now 30) but a word to the wise. I've fucked my back doing it pretty badly so if you do it... its not like riding a bike.... It feels like it. Don't just find a big set of stairs once your comfortable olliing again. I can assure you we do bounce less. Once I'm properly healed up Ill go back out and just skate ledges and flat ground. Which... other than stairs in what I loved anyone. No more big jumps for me :(

This is honestly a really good part; I think it took me a couple watches to really appreciate it, and Birdman's so tall he makes some of the obstacles look smaller than they actually are, but he's doing some really technical and gnarly stuff here!

Early 90s hawk had a few street parts.
This is honestly a really good part; I think it took me a couple watches to really appreciate it, and Birdman's so tall he makes some of the obstacles look smaller than they actually are, but he's doing some really technical and gnarly stuff here!
Smiling, hyped and pure respect watching Mr. Hawk skate. You were smiling while watching! You had to be!
