Honestly, the hammer was actually a really good pick. Furnace was always at 5 and you could never roll higher than 5, so the split was always in your favor.
The spirit of swiftness came in clutch a few times as well, killing an enemy that was surviving by six hp and bringing the boss to his invulnerable threshold
I really like how you approach the greater difficulty in each video and see how you overcome it. It's interesting to see how you decide whether a particular spell is worth investing in and building around.
10:13 fragentize is crazy here but incandescence is just as good if not better especially once upgraded. I just had a run with furnace and incandescence and once you get a little extra dice per turn with some potency or foretell you can start casting all your countdown spells an extra 3 or 4 times every turn or two.
56:00 I *think* what is happening with the weak is that for balance reasons it's ensuring you have it for at least 1 turn cycle so that you can't just kill with your last spell and have 0 consequences from the mutation difficulty selection. Doesn't seem obvious if that is the case but I can def see why they'd want it to work that way...just should do a better job of making it clear when and how long it should be applied...especially since I don't know if that really is how it's working and just a guess based on my developer and balance brain.
Yeah I don't know why the 10 weak stays on the next turn in some fights but not others. Noticed the same thing in one of my runs. Seems like it could be a bug.
I've had so many runs that I take little to no damage and just decimate the enemies and then just die at the last boss. He just does so much damage and you can't build to one shot him. I had one run where I turned block into Fury and then another spell to triple my fury each round. I could have easily got 600 damage by like turn 5 but having to reset my fury counter for the 200 damage each time made it take so much longer and I couldn't out block his damage.
1:05:45 what? you have been playing with fire for an hour and now you are afraid of getting a little singed from ignite? a fire wizard should know no fear
Dude furnace not being on the left was killing me all run. Also does this game have keyboard shortcuts, like hitting 1-9 on to snap a die to your mouse?
I was debating if I should buy this but a bit out off because of it is early access, but it seems pretty polished already. Any idea when it will get officially released?
I think I'm most amazed at how these runs keep taking you an hour-ish. I've done about 5 runs and they always take me around 2.5 hours.

Watching these before bed I don’t understand anything happening but I like the sound of dice

53:03 - I think the presence of the pillar giving +2 weak every turn made it glitch a little bit.
What an interesting game! Love watching you make decisions
Thanks for showcasing this game, amazed how polished it already is. Just need moar bosses :-)
great vid, can't wait for more! Thx Reto
Love this series. For the algorithm

on a regular run maybe, but not with Furnace though, the ones were far better here

I did a furnace run but without block, I died at the last boss :(

Next time please put furnace on the left side, save work for your wrist :D

All hail the algorithm 😂
Did you change the graphics settings? The game looks sharper than your other videos on the game
