I've seen a lot of these before, but what made me like this video is the fact that you actually gave sources and gave your viewers an idea of where these items can be purchased.
OMG Robyn, I'm going to have nightmares now and a creepy film maker somewhere just got a new idea for someone living in a house filled with this kind of furniture. Brrrrr
That would mean there's a living breathing person is in the house with you. Fight em off. Super natural beings won't be effective to thermal measures. Hence it won't record them, besides, they're always around you anyway haha 👀
you all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I love any assistance you can offer me
@Chaim Louie I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Exactly. These are definitely going under ART piece collection for those who have huge amounts to spend for such things. But we have to give it to designers though. These are incredible masterpieces.
Depends if they live in a city centre where the housing costs get more expensive for less space. But in my opinion a lot of them where very over priced, when you think of the materials used. Basically you're paying for the design effort.
@@TheaDragonSpirit Yes. Because as we all know- designers don't have to eat or have a roof over their head during this phase of designing their work....So that cost should NEVER be included in the cost of any final product! That is just done for charity! LOL!
I mean a lot of these things are a thing u only buy once every 30 years so...bet they hold longer than ikea stuff...And a chair for 8-16 persons for 800 dollar is not much..Just imagine how many single chairs would cost xD
Ok. So some of these combine utility and aesthetics spectacularly; but way too many just go for unnecessary aesthetics at the cost of utility (and cost way too much to boot). Like, why would you need a wavy cabinet? Would it not be a pain to try to open it wide? Also, I'm 100% sure that these fancy designs wouldn't last as long as a simple designed one because there are so many moving delicate parts. Eventually those joints and struts and what not are going to ruin the function of the piece as a whole.
Imagine being on that rocking bed with your partner and you’re about to fall asleep and then bam!! They turn over and you feel like you have just fell off a building....
The chairs that look like art pieces would make a small waiting room into a room to hold many, and I love the concept of the hush pod but if I had plenty of money, and lets face it, you'd have to be rich to afford any of these pieces, my favourite for sheer beauty has to be the last round expanding table. I think I'd wear it out in the first few days just opening and closing it, it is so lovely.
Honestly, I don’t really like it, it looks like ur right on the edgewhich makes it seem uncomfortable. Anyone else agree wid me. Or I’m a alone on this xD
I know and a lot of people here in the comments seem to think that's a high price. I was surprised by how inexpensive most of these were. It's still a lot of money, but for the beauty and design of these things, I would have thought some of them would be even more. I paid $5000 for my large sectional couch for example. That's just how much things are.
Look up poured resin or epoxy tables, you can make one pretty easily for a couple hundred, instead of paying $25k. There are tons of tutorials on how to do it, pretty easy too
Fletcher table is the best one of them all !! just my own opinion !! I totally respect each designer but if I’m going to buy one that’s the one I’m getting!! Well done everyone!!!
I want to thank you for changing the "Amazing" cartoon guy at the beginning so that he is not as loud. I used to mute the video until after he yelled because I found it very unpleasant. Now I think he's kinda' cute.
I am impressed with the versetality of these unique pieces of furniture. However, as someone who is deathly afraid of water (having escaped drownding) any furniture featuring water themes is not an option.
People who are complaining about the prices clearly don't know much about design. It's not just about the material, it's also about the engeneering behind it. Materials+effort. Plus sometimes when you have a crazy idea not everyone might support it and thus you have to invest in it yourself. I also believe that designers want "their money back" that they have spent on their studies😅😅😅. Also basic economics: the more there is available (product/service) the lower the price can get. This is not IKEA furniture, it's furniture made by "private" designers, people who work hard on their own, who sometimes have to take care for a whole design bureau. (Interior architect/design student here✋🏼😊)

Amazing what free thought creates. The Fletcher table is gorgeous, but must commend all the artist's shown, for their ability to visually promote the future.
I thought the designs were amazing & creative. It was definitely a tribute to man's creative intuitive. They are out of y budget range, but I don't expect the world to revolve around me. I'm not resentful of those that can afford more, or better than me. Most of them would be impractical for my lifestyle, but it is always fun to look @ things that are different & unique in my opinion. I ❤ seeing that designers are thinking outside of the box. If anyone them would hold up for 30 yrs or more, then the prices become more less intimidating, although I still could not afford them, but $3,000.00 for soething that could last 30 yrs. or more is a good investment. Again, for me, it was amazing to see man's creative mind @ work & seeing people that are able to turn their ideas into actual usable art was just awesome. I celebrate man's ability to dream & bring those dreams into reality & their willingness to sh0are their accomplishments. It's a win/win for all of us.
I've seen a lot of these before, but what made me like this video is the fact that you actually gave sources and gave your viewers an idea of where these items can be purchased.

most of the space-saving furniture comes with a hefty price tag if I have that much money, space isn't a problem I can afford a big house
I always found that to be SO DAMN ODD. Don't you think? it's so strange! it's like wait, wtf?
No, in fact a m2 of land is a lot more expensive than any furniture you have ever hear of

Exactly. These are definitely going under ART piece collection for those who have huge amounts to spend for such things. But we have to give it to designers though. These are incredible masterpieces.
ever heard of places like Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo? Even the most expensive place there doesn't have much space.

That rocking bed looks lovely 😍
I want that picture that turns into a chair! 😍😍😍

the felt cocoon looks like a good thing for moms to have for kids' nap time.
Not for $3500.00
More like the other way around
I immediately thought “autism classroom”.
Just buy one of those tents you put on your bed. Much cheaper
I feel like you would be breathing in your own exhale after a while - I can't even sleep in a full-sized room unless the window is open.

wow these furniture will fit right in with my diamond shoes and my golden toilet paper
Uhh, um, thanks. Now I know what i did wrong. I got gold shoes and diamond toilet paper. My bad😋
True these cost 10 times more than just a normal chair or table
@Tanner Koob diamond toilet paper is way to rough😜
Do you brush ur teeth with dog poo

Oh my gosh, that foam one was ridiculous 😂
Literally looks like someone just carved up a foam mattress
Yep. My thought exactly.

Imagine sleeping on the bed and then your two small children run in and swing on it to wake you up !
I get seasick in a hammock - I sure couldn't make it in that bed...
And what if you want to rock and he doesn't?
Not to mention the unhelpful counter-rhythm it would set up to bangin.
Hopefully it has a warning: "Not recommended for people with cats!"

I actually bought the MINIMAX table for 350$ and have been using it regularly when entertaining. It is great!
$350??? Where? I need one at that price. Please let me know.
I love the liquid glacial table. Simply wonderful!
"This piece will set you back TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS!" Dude, have you priced well made non-Ikea furniture? That is a standard price!

That's why I usually have second hand furniture, thrift shop, or some things I can get new and cheap at chapter 11 store or Marden's in Maine.

That last table at the end was amazing! Like something out of a steampunk story.
I like the way the guy speak 😃!
All of them! 👍🏻 now that’s Amazing! 😮

I like the ocean table. Do you have a payment plan. The furniture is so expensive , you would have to have a payment plan.
I just KNOW I’d be able to justify buying a $3k chair but I can’t justify buying a shirt from the clearance section at target
