Have not successfully seen any of these work other than the video. I’ve done several dozen different variations. Do you have any in particular that work?
for anyone who wants to know, playing through the game normally will result in you falling between 3-6 levels off from max level so if you don't want to just sit here and constantly save and load for hours you can just aim to go for about that many levels and then 100% the game to get the max level then. edit: to give some perspective, I completely all the missions from the citadel and went strait here, by the time I started the glitch I was just a small bit away from level 9 on legendary edition, if you wanna max out your level I'd say aim for level 13-15 with the glitch, should take about 30 or so minutes to do.
I've noticed that it gives you more exp as you level up at level 13 it gives 456 exp. I initially did this mission after leaving the Citadel. So it only gave me like 300 exp originally.
One thing to bare in mind is that, once you hit the cap your vendors don’t restock! Supposedly they only restock once you go up a level. Don’t remember that being the case in the original but seems to be the case on the LE.
It was the case in the original. Best thing for it is to save before the spectre weapons dude in c-sec on ng+ until he gives you what you desperately want and using the dlc to get the godtier colossus armors each time
Second, though much less lucrative, opportunity for infinite XP in Feros. There is a terminal in Zhus hope (gives the "investigate shipments" assignment) that can be hacked over and over by reloading the area.
I did 2 full 100% playthroughs. 1st time with money exploit. Total time- 28 hours 2nd playthrough took 11.5 hours. Soon as I hit level 60 I just stopped killing things. Throw on immunity and RUNNNNNNN
I just got the legendary version and was indeed looking to see if the glitch still worked and there was one as well in noveria where you could max out your paladin and rouge levels now im trying to find that one lol
So from what I can see when doing this thing myself, is that while I'm definitely gonna hit the level cap, I will NOT be able to max all the skills. So think about what sorta build you wanna go for in both Shepard's and the Crew's case. Once I got close to level 20 I started to get 2 skill points per level up instead of four, so maxing all abilities seem to be out of the question. I suppose that's what New Game Plus is for, but if you want to make sure you import a Max Level Shepard into Mass Effect 2, this exploit is nice, quick and easy.
You'll endlessly be about 30 to 40 exp points short. And bonus powers are fairly useless in me1. Biotics get a tech or soldier skill, tech gets bio, soldier gets both and all of em have no ability to use a bio amp or omni tool equipment to make them worthwhile anyway

Likewise you can achieve a sense of progression through animations by giving the player new abilities...traversal and combat or interacting with environment etc none of which require XP stats, numbers or menu systems...you can tie these things to exploration introduce them through enemy bosses or have specific characters and the narrative, the story and lore "introduce" and implement them into the game in a more "natural" and "logical" way.
