- To end the first week on the PCT, Anna and I are rewarded with some amazing views. Along with that, however, comes very strong winds, and some nasty weather that forces us, and many other PCT hikers, to hunker down. Cheers 🍻

Great job taking the video through your hike. Keep doing it and your channel is gonna blow up
I appreciate that!
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing your Almost there!
Thanks Daniel! Hit 200 miles today. Might as well call it done 😅
Good tip on the Mom’s banana bread! (After the free pie of course). 😮
They hand out so much free food to hikers! We figured it was a kind gesture to buy something, and it was delicious!
Everyone seems to have the exact same tent there at camp! lol
X-mids and Duplexes everywhere!
Good call on the Zero, that looked nasty. Looking forward to more videos! Cheers🍻 from Utah.
Loving the channel and the PCT series so far!! Cheers from WA 🍻
Thank you so much! Cheers 🍻
So excited to follow your journey. I live in the Coachella Valley and it’s getting hot. Stay safe!
It’s been a hot start! Just got some nice cold air in the San Jacinto mountains though!
Backpacking gear is full of tradeoffs. Free standing tents may jack the weight a pound or two but they pitch tighter and are quieter in the wind IMO. Maybe I've just never found the perfect pitch with my Hyperlite. Keep on Truckin'!
Yeah the tradeoff is real. Our neighbors last night got their freestanding tent up in half the time as us 😅. If we can properly guy it out it performs like a champ though! Couldn’t do that in the spot in the video though.
Loving your journey! I'm headed out next year PCT '25 and this is great motivation! I plan on vlogging too, how are you editing your vids on trail? (Apologies if you answered this in an earlier vid!)
Exciting!! I’m doing everything on my iPhone. I’m editing with LumaFusion. Also have a subscription to Epidemic sound for music. Cheers!
Awesome! Thank you! Enjoy your hike! ❤
How’s that Kakwa treating you?
Loving it! Handles heavier loads better than my Hyperlite IMO. Very comfy and supportive.
@@justinhitsthetrail5225it’s on my top 3 contenders for next pack so good to hear. Dans the man!
