This is very immersing indeed. I wish they provided more war theaters and tanks to experiment with. I hope in the future more material for this kind of game/simulation. We have so much for air combat, this kind of games are kind of missing.
Hopefully we will get it in tank crew 2!

I said it before I will say it again compared to grindy world of tanks or war thunder this looks cool I actually want to try it more and more.
It really doesn't compare to world of tanks or War Thunder. It is really an awesome experience.
One notable difference (I observed watching Il-2 gameplay) from my experience of WT is that the engagement distance are much farther away, so there is no such thing as aiming for a specific spot like turret cheek. Everything is luck - you aim center mass and hope for a pen.

Same here! Can I ask a bunch of questions? Like: are you playing using your mouse and keyboard? And is there really no sound when shells are coming in? Or is that whistle sound you hear in movies total bs? It looks cool, but it’s a bit flat when it comes to immersion at times?
@@juice2090 I play using keyboard and mouse but you can play with a HOTAS if you desire. The whistle thing is bs and there is no whistle when shells are flying towards you though if you're looking in that general direction when they get fired you'll see the tracer

I love these multiplayer matches, the camera work is fantastic, I love all the different angles you get from the replay. Do you record the audio and first person view, then go view the replay later or something for those third person shots?
You've finally convinced me to pick up the tank crew module, and I've really been enjoying it. Once I get things figured out a little better, I'd love to come get donked on by you guys on the virtual Finnish pilot's server!
The UBOAT, Silent Hunter, Cold Waters (would love to see more of that by the way, some of my favorite videos you make) and IL-2 devs really should thank you, honestly. I have no doubt in my mind your videos have generated thousands of dollars in sales for em, I know I've ended up buying most of the games you play.

TankCrew in VR is the ultimate expirience! You can feel the claustrophobia in such a tank.

During ww2 Sherman’s sometimes had hard times killing panzer 4s since the panzer 4 had 80mm of armor Sherman crews were given APCR rounds to penetrate the front of a panzer 4

i think the t34 guys on the tree was the most intelligent enemy you figther on multiplayer for now
To be fair it is pretty hard to spot. People seem to underestimate how hard it actually is to spot things in this game.

Had there been at least two of them working in a team, the Panzers could've been wiped out.
The t34 at the end was a genuis if he made the tree fall down onto the road to ambush any tanks coming down it.

I remember last night I was in some urban combat with my lil Panzer 3 L since im broke lmao, and had a sherman just turn right infront of me out of behind a house and scared the absolute crap outta me :D
Luckily I managed to frontally pierce him somehow, which I did not expect to be able to do with the tiny little 50mm

After playing on the Finnish server for a week this is what I've gathered. It's a great game, but the Germans most definitely control the air and ground for the most part. Half the time the Russians are lacking in support and players. This is only a week tho so take it with a grain of salt
That server restart wasn't actually scheduled - the players on the opposing team requested it to prevent you both from overrunning their spawn point! 😃

To bad the tank wreckage doesn't stay on the map for a few minutes. You could use the tank wrecks of your fallen allies as cover as you engage hostile armor

I mean.. we were doing the same thing. We just saw him first. It is hard to actually see things in the game. You don't have god like situational awareness in tc like you do in War Thunder.

Yep. Most of the shells and casings sit against the upper left hull wall (minus a few casings that sit under the breech). Considering it's the largest flat area, it's also a good point of aim and fairly easy to hit. Not to mention there are fuel tanks right below them.

I already record and upload at significantly higher bitrate than youtube will even soupport. It is unfortunate how youtube compresses the video but I am not sure what else I can do besides upscaleing to 4k.
@@Wolfpack345 yeah, I don’t know man...when I look at the “stats for nerds” , it shows 1280x720 as Max resolution. On other vids I see 1920x1080. I don’t know why 🤔

I would like to as well but they are rather rare in mp.
yes, Panthers, Tigers, and Elephants are rare in multiplayer because first it's map/mission dependent and second there is only a limited number available. Usually people grab them quick. It's a similar situation with the SU-122 and the ISU-152.
Show Panther and Ferdinand gameplay next time please.

I’m confused on how this works. Do you have an Ai crew you command? Or do you have to switch from one position to another IE commander/driver /gunner
You can do both

@@robant7899While you are in the commander and driver position you can actually drive the tank yourself. Alternatively you can order your AI crew where to drive OR you can get another player in the driver position!
