I met Joe after a show in NJ , many years ago and he is really the nicest person...His guitar player at the time Karl Cochran, introduced me... I mentioned to Joe that him and Lou Gramm are my favorite singers... He smiled and said Lou was one of his idols and a good friend of his... We talked a few minutes ..... Great vocalist !!!!

Joe is so right about corporations killing real music. As a kid growing up in the 70's im thankful I got to grow up in that age and saw some great bands live.

Ritchie Blackmore just did an interview yesterday on July 4th. He says yes he is going to form a band for Rainbow songs but Joe Lynn Turner is not going to be part of it and just doesnt know it yet. I wonder what Ritchie has planned.
To say, basically, that Joe Isn't Rainbow, or some sort of Rainbow cover singer, is ridiculous, and flatout wrong. Yes, the original incarnation featured the great Ronnie James Dio. But Graham Bonnet had his own nice, but short, run. And then Joe took over because Ritchie new a great talent was there in JLT. Great Rainbow songs like Stone Cold, Death Alley Driver, Can't let You Go, and Street Of Dreams, to name a few were JLT's Rainbow. Joe is still rockin' in his mid 60's. Can't say that about everyone. His Sunstorm music is fantastic. Joe was given the gift, and I thank GOD for it. It has helped enrich my life with fantastic music. Keep on rockin' Joe.

Russ DAngelo I disagree. DIO had a voice like a lion!! BUT.....JLT has a voice suited for ballads AND hard rock when needed.......he has more range than DIO had.
