It's June 2021 and I'm going to be writing up an encounter of mine to send to you to read and share with your people. You have an awesome community of subscribers.
Dated a woman who lived outside that swamp. She had a visitor that would show up every night around 2 am and beat on her trailer. I'm 6ft tall and couldn't reach where the damage on the trailer was. You could see there something had pushed down her 5 ft fence stepping over it. She was in the middle of nowhere a few miles from the Pearl River.
Concerning the story sent in by the lady from the Caribbean. This also exist in Haiti. My grandmother who came here as an adolescent with her family from the middle east always told me of this. Apparently it's a very tall man wearing a high top hat riding a humongous horse that passes through the streets at midnight. They call it Maitre Minuit ( master of midnight). Love your stories. Keep it up. Blessings to all.
Enjoyed every one of the stories especially listening to you. I honestly believe you don't know what a talent and gift you have, and you are so humble about it too. Cam I have something to tell you. Last summer my wife and I was sitting on the back porch talking and looking at the stars. All of a sudden I heard horses running in the field right next to our house. It lasted about 5 to 8 seconds, when it was done I didn't say anything to lisa in fear of her thinking I was crazy. I turned and looked at her, and she said that wierd it sounded like horses running unsaid ues I heard it as well. Funny thing we live out in the boonies and there isnt a horse for miles. I thought of this when I heard your story. Thank you for all you do I live this channel.
I grew up in Slidell, La. in the ’60s and '70s within a mile of the Honey Island Swamp. I do laugh when folks say near New Orleans. The swamp holds many secrets and so do the locals. Creole's and Cajuns alike rarely speak of encounters, and then just blurt them out years later making everyone around them say, WTH when did that happen. I even have my own. I've been all over the world and seen some scary locations but the Honey Island Swamp is a scary place. It appears so primordial that when you're there you almost expect to see strange stuff.
Hey we used to drive across the I -10 bridge to the fireworks stands in Slidell back then they were Illegal in NOLA I used to shrimp between the I - 10 and the Rigolets . We used to come out of the Irish Bayou do you remember in mid March during those years that the crawfish would cross the 10 by the Michoud exit sometimes shutting down the freeway . I like that you don’t spend too much time planning your videos. It doesn’t have to be all planned out to be good. Just picking which ones to read is enough! And I bet you get lots, so choosing is enough work! Your images are always nice to watch but I close my eyes mostly, unless you’re filming your dogs! Then I’m sure to watch. All of these are interesting, as usual. I would not like to be the hunter sitting the tree when it got shaken. I am so totally with you on seeing a Sasquatch. If I ever do, I want to be in a car moving in the opposite direction. A glimpse would be just fine. A glimpse and a getaway car! Thanks, Cam! Also, not sure if I thanked you yet for labeling your marathons!! It helps me keep track! Don’t ever want to miss one.

@@josephdietz3446 Katrina wiped out Jazzland and the area between Hayne and Michoud, even all the way down to the parish line, is now heavily wooded. A lot of wild hogs and other wildlife. The city built a refuge area off Dwyer and we can go hiking through the swamp on elevated walkways like down on Lafitte. The area around Eden Isles is very built up, and there is a small area around Michoud that's populated, but otherwise, it's the wild wild East. The Irish Bayou Casino burned down in the last 2 years and that area is now completely overgrown. That was a great story! I am so sorry that they could not have been hard when the event happened. You just have to chalk it up as "wasn't the right times"... Our minds, this day, are more open to, we are not alone
Your voice is so calming I love listening to the stories. Just keep on doing what your doing love it!
Its such a nice day to hear you Sir . Thank you . I think cook some fish !
Love your accent, lilting drawl adds to the atmosphere, don't change anything, its part of the attraction. Great show again. I have had a bad cold and being confined to bed, your show has helped this last week.
Hang tough Frank. Thanks Buddy.
....another great story reading. Thank you Sir, and as usual you made my day.
I'm disabled and bedridden, So I live vicariously through people like you....
I so do appreciate your program....👍👍... ☺..🎣🎣
Thanks !
Hey Wil Delapine . That is one of the reasons I found Cam's channel . I just recently found all of this stuff on you tube . I worked a lot until I lost most of the use of my legs I now use a walker to get around but don't get far . Just sharing that there are others listening and enjoying for the same reasons . So stay as comfortable as you can I hope your pain is being managed and keep doing your best that is all I try to do myself Sir I will look for your comments to say Hi and you can do the same for me if you would like take care bro
@@josephdietz3446 ....
Thank Joseph... Yes I figured it's probably the same with a lot of the social media.
People are on there to have a window to the world...and I was a late bloomer anyway.... "Was never interested in computer's"...
My life seems to be TH-cam now... I was being harassed on Facebook so I just dropped off from there....
The ironic thing with Facebook is? They 86th me so I just said forget it.
I'm tired of playing that game. So now they give me access through Google..."Go figure"....
I hope you getting along well, yes been in significant pain of late...
But I don't want to over due the pain meds. So I've learned to deal with it.
Thanks Joseph
It's still nice to be recognized....🎣🐶
Thanks for the stories
I appreciate you and your crew
Thanks Cam! Great as always. Love the stories. My two boys and I have listened, I think, to every video. So when a new one comes out, we all enjoy it!
Oh Cam! You crack me up! As you closed on the Honey Island story you were thanking the contributor and got so excited you said " I can hardly speak!" and for some reason that tickled me so much I am still laughing to myself about it! Sometimes I think you get a bigger kick out of reading these stories than your listeners!!! But we love you!!
We absolutely love your narrations and look forward to storytime whenever you upload either a Dixie Cryptid story or a What if it's True? podcast episode. The Steve Lilly Journals are great. Keep up the great work Cam. We're istening to this again as we have listened to each multiple times. They help us relax.
Haven't had a video in a day or more missed the story's thanks again your a doll😉
You're just too awesome! Love your stories and the peace you bring :)
Thank you. I'm not awesome, but I have fun with this. Uh....you're awsome!
You are so funny. Thank you for the chuckles.
Your the best Cam, that tree stand story was eery, something about it being obove you was a new aspect & quite interesting....
Enjoyed every one of the stories especially listening to you. I honestly believe you don't know what a talent and gift you have, and you are so humble about it too. Well we all see it or I guess I should say hear it and appreciate you more than you can imagine. Keep up the great work. As always I'm anticipating the next video as I'm pretty sure are more people on your subscription list. God bless you and your family 🕇💜✌
Listening to you in the midst of one big typhoon hitting our area of Tokyo. Keep up the great work!
I found one I had missed. Lest go. I'm comfy and ready for some good story's. From Cleveland Tennessee.
Thanks brother for your stories/ videos....
I love dogman stories. I'd love to hear more of them from you. Thanks D C
A cup of coffee and great stories thanks for the video, loved all of them.
Those were the days hope your memories ofbthose years brings a smile to your face when you recall them take care Hunter
Joseph Dietz those crawdaddys made that road so slick it was crazy. You're telling your age.
@@hunterglass1840 Yes sir I was 12 in 74 Have to tell you that was a great time to be a kid I remember Hurricane Betsy when I was 3 just because it was the first time we went to a shelter have a great week Hunter
Joseph Dietz, we were close in age. I was 15. I lived in both Slidell and NOLA. My grandfather sold his 3 drugstores to K&B 😀
@@hunterglass1840 I remember those old purple tile awnings of K&B funny how two kids from that time would bump into each other here in the etherworld do you listen to DC often or was it just the Honey Island stories that brought you here . The first time I heard a Cam story it was about Honey Island you ever listen to Dark Waters out of Algiers He tells a wicked story about Charity Hospital after Katrina Are you a Saints fan
Thanks for the stories, Cam. They are great and very interesting. When I opened TH-cam this video popped up. I was really happy to see it. Your narration always adds to th enjoyment of the stories. I
I think going off on a tangent is the mark of a good story teller.
I love you, man! These were great stories!
Haaa. You always make me laugh. Your the best cam. Thank you for the the story’s 👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺
Guess I’ll have to send ya my store.
Great !
Stick to your success my friend, that is why people like you
Man you are a great narrator, I’d love to see you grow and be on a panel of the Late Show with Dee Doss , Dark Waters and Wes from Sasquatch Chronicles!!
Another awesome session of stories. Thank you, Cam. God bless you.
I wish we were neighbors Cam I would happily be your unpaid assistant to get thru stories and answer emails as I love the story factor of your channel! I'm not into evidence because I believe wholeheartedly in sasquatch and a few other cryptids that are hard to dispute! No evidence needed for this Iowa girl!
I worked with a guy his wife's grandfather got 8mm film footage of the honey island swamp monster there are definitely in Louisiana
Ahhh cam it's your # 1 fan ,I love your channel and I just think you are doing a wonderful job keep it up ! Thank you, lela
Thank you Lulu!

Dixie I feel like a idiot bro! Smh I just seen your email and I guess because it wasn't highlighted I passed over it multiple times and never noticed it! I'm going to send you a couple of stories 1 was told to me from a old Cajun and the other from 2 of my friends who I grew up with!!!
Ahhh, tis a good Sunday when I wake to a new D.C upload 😊💚💚💚
This Cypress footage is so beautiful.

I most thank u so much....I used to fall asleep with my TV on and since I came across ur channel now I can't go to bed without headphones and ur utube channel playing on auto play .even if I already heard the story..sorry if I forget to like or comment..but I think with a little time ur channel is going to just continue to grow in popularity...thx again ur doing a amazing job keep them coming.
Thanks Junior...
Beautiful scenery playing while you read the stories Cam... 2 thumbs up on another great, entertaining, and interesting video. Ps. I love the way you read peoples stories, you do it so well.
Thanks for your excellent programs! I'm been waiting for days for your latest video! Brilliant programs and love your voice!!
Thank you for the stories, have a good one!
Great stories Cam!!!! I really look forward to you and these stories. I had a UFO sighting, I just need to write you about it. Thanks for the great work again.
You're the best cam keep em coming
Hola from NOLA! I'm on the far eastside of Bayou Savage! Thanks for telling our stories. 💜
Hey Believer I grew up In Village D' Lest it was Between the I -10 and The Chef Hwy bisected by Michoud . Very Close to the Michoud Nasa facility . Do you know Pariw Rd where the old Police Shooting range used to be .
@@josephdietz3446 I do! I live near Paris Road.
@@believeroftheword4627 I grew up on Cherbourg until 77 small world do things still go bump in the night or has there been a lot of growth in your area it used to be heavily wooded and full of wild blackberries
I actually love the abundance of wild life while still being in Orleans parish, but I can do without the nightly insect swarms. It used to be just termite season when we'd see swarms but this year, we've had midge flies, love bugs, mosquitoes (of course!) and this week it's some sort of moth hybrid. Ugh.
@@believeroftheword4627 I am the Joe from the Honey Island swamp story . I grew up crawfishing . shrimping , delivering newspapers in the old Village d Lest we were city Champs in baseball from 68 to 75 and were a football powerhouse in our league although the Easton Eagles were unbeatable . It is really amazing how Nature changes things . My dad worked for NASA and Village dLest was built for those employees . Dandy Don Meredith was the real estate broker . There is or was a shell road for access to high power lines between Paris Rd and Michoud with an entrance at the foot of Dwyer . We would ride our bikes up and down that area all the time as Kids there was a Bayou that began at the Old Congress Inn . When the Beatles came to NOLA that is where they stayed . By the way nice to meet you .
thanx for all you do

I think its funny that the scientific community does not try to distinguish these animals as their "missing link" but has helped to cover it up. Makes me wonder if most have not been genetically engineered.
I think that's exactly what they are is a missing link of sorts.. they're not primates though and humans aren't either and I don't think we evolved from them either.. I know it would ruin sciences little stories of evolution and that bs Darwinism lol
Cam, I love your channel. You inspire me to create my own channel, not that I want to ride your coattails but if you would appreciate a little help narrating any stories, I would love to read some. I'm sure this isn't the first offer you've had. I appreciate what you do. Much love
More great stories. Ty.
OMG, that evidence must be awesome!
You are a great storyteller!😀
Really enjoy your selections and your work 🤔😁😁😁
I’m from NO and can confirm that when the mosquito spray truck was working the neighborhood, many kids would ride their bikes behind it in the toxic spray! Back then you had no clue it was bad it was just a fun fog. So crazy, I know.
TYFS Cam sir!! ❤❤🥰🤩😍✌🏽👍🏼
Just to let you know I enjoyed your live stream 16th November reminds me of Ham Radio Yvonne Cornwall England
