Please JUHU BEACH in Northern Mumbai. Mumbai has everything from Beaches to National park within the City Limits. Please try LOCAL TRAIN in Afternoon because in Morning and Evening they're Overcrowded. You can enjoy Beach Life in GOA (Not in Mumbai) at fullest.

You should try the famous Indian barber massage. People actually travel to India for it. There's a whole genre of TH-cam videos about it. The cheaper more rundown barbershops give a more authentic experience. LOL. It's in my bucket list. I've only experienced Indian barbers in Malaysia.

The beach, aka chowpatty was literally 200 mts from where you guys were at. It's a low tide and ur walking out there. Going to chowpatty, trying the road side food there probably would have been a lot better experience.
