Job well done...it is actually a good idea to use that epoxy mix to stick the shims on place..it is a good idea also to use a specific cat drive oil for peace of mind. Keep up the good work.
Good job, I want a 2ton cat but can't find them down here. W have tons of JD , Kubota and case. Q: do you have to JB weld the shims? And where did you get the bushings from ? They look like tractor supply . I need a metric like 3mm and ID 35mm for a volvo. So I'm trying to find a source of nylon 3mm shims. I also been playing around with sanding down a shim to thin it out and double up my shims.
After 50 years running Heavy Equipment, belongings Local union #3 Operating Engineers local #3, I found Catpillar Equipment especially rubberhoes weren't good choices of Equipment, I personally like John Deere. Catpillar small Equipment is high maintenance problems.
Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Enzo Cristiano thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out now. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
If you don't change the bushing it only going get worst, this mostly from poor maintenance plus try better grease brans , I had my on backhoe business , so I what going on , J b w Your kidding me , come on man. Modern repair man.

Tidy job 👍🏻
I have a serious leak in mine. How can I contact you and ask a few questions?
send me a message or you can ask on here
@@dobronos how do I message. Can't figure TH-cam messenger
I would not use Wal-Mart gear oil in a $2500 final drive. Cat makes specific synthetic oil for finals.
