Doesn't Godr-Ayed kinda fix the problem of not being able to caphras your weapon so that now you can actually use it in the slot you care about rather than in the secondary weapon as a stat stick?

yes and no saying you cant use ur side weapon and just use bs is kinda true because the investment is not that high but investing in a tet or a pen godr is straight up harder

I still dont understand why i shouldnt get a mainhand if im on a succ class

if you can get a tri or tet godr main hand i guess its pretty good, but if you can only get a base main hand godr, as the video has explained, then the AP that matters for succession, is gonna be lower and cant be upgradely little by little throw caphrase stones, however if you do the opposite, you get higher AP early on and can benefit from the extra monster dmg from godr/bs.
