    This is the best video about freeriding I could find. Many useful tips. Everything explained in under 5 mins.

    Actually that get-up tip is GOLD!
    I got stuck once: I lost lots of energy trying get out because I lacked knowledges of how to do it properly. It was first run of the day, so you can imagine how I felt afterwards.
    Thank you Xavier!

    You inspired me to search for pow in the future. Only been riding a year and I turn 40 this year. Thank you and stay healthy!

      @@XVDLR Hey Xavier! Everyone tries to scare about powder. - "don't even think! Stay away!" e.t.c.
      You've made one video on pow, but it is never enough. Would be great to get more tips on turns in deep pow while slow or fast, floating and more!
      Anyway thanks for sharing! Much appreciated!

    Thank you so much for this very informative and concise video! I've been 7 seasons snowboarding and just now getting into splitboarding and backcountry riding, but those tips about getting out of powder and keeping your speed would've been nice to have on some of those exceptional resort days!

    Other importand advice is to go with someone experienced, or at least not alone.
    And if you’re trying to ride pow between the pistes you shoul be aware of sudden drops back on piste or on a cat track

    • @XVDLR
      @XVDLR  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    That powder isn’t very deep... now if only there was a tip on how to get out of 4 feet of fresh powder at mount baker or mount hood. Feels like chest deep quicksand

    What is you board Xavier? What brand, which model?

    • @XVDLR
      @XVDLR  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey - I personally use my Rossignol Pro Model, so I am a bit biased! www.rossignol.com/us/rossignol-xv-boards-snowboard-rehwc07-000-2019-2020.html It is great for Freeride.
