This is how a matured person this profession needs.
Kudos to Gov's decision to discontinue the Age bar.
@@shreyanshmishra8999 nice shreya, be a good doctor.
Also...it is very very important to stop following social media handles and travel vlogs. I myself have been this person, where I felt resentful to see people traveling all day all over the world, but 30 seconds of reels and reality of their actual life, is wayyyyyy different. Unfollowing these people made my day a lot better. Today's capitalistic world is supposed to make you feel like you're missing out on something, but you're not. Everyone is on their own unique path.
💯

I strongly agree with the points she said in the video. Don't take MBBS for money if your not passionate about it. Doctors are not earning as much as before. In MBBS we get scolded by professors for no reason. While studying MBBS you must love the subjects. I am thinking of making video on my TH-cam channel.
please make one!
Why scolded for no reason? Ek bajane kaa

Whatever she told is 100% true.
Girl you are gonna love this journey.
All the best.
This is so true.. every thing she said.. every word.. been in a medical school.. idk why ek alag hi constant stress tha.. you wanna chill, you wanna take things slow.. you can't cause tumhare aas paas wale itna bhaagne mein lage hain ki tumhe apne par ho doubt hone lagega ki "taking things slow" is a right decision or not. Recently preparing for NEET PG from home and I am glad I am staying at my home..far away from all of the people who are in a constant hurry.. stress and what not.
I have seen doctors passionate about patient care rarely and they do exist and they do make a lot of positive impact on ailing patient , patients do deserve more kindness empathy than mere knowledge and fake personas. wishing you the best. you are brave and wise person ❤
I was literally thinking about your videos and your journey since yesterday and here is your video today ..please upload such videos frequently
Virus ke ghosle me ek aajad panchi ghus aaya hai👏. Aakriti you are like rancho of 3 idiots in medical college. You became a real engineer and now you will become a real and proud doctor🙌🙌
Well most things that you said are based on ground reality but you are halfway through and by the time you finish, you mindset gonna evolve a lot more, specially during internship.
Secondly, about the NEET PG, there are a lot of factors that come to play like which specialty, location of future practice, service bond, service quota, sponsored seats, hands on etc etc hence becomes bit challenging specially for UR candidates unlike in UG where all seats are of MBBS and alike.
Just because situations are not easy, mindsets don't necessarily have to change. That's the whole point :)

@@aakritig7I guess u need to observe much more in this field ..things are not as simple as written in books…you don’t always get a classical case that is easy to diagnose ..mostly cases are a mixture of 2 or more systems..sometimes in treating one system the other might deteriorate..we have to make balance..not like engineering where u can repair a machine by switching it off for a while and turn it on after it gets repaired!! Just by treating symptoms one doesn’t become a good doc !! All true words, but the sad thing is only medical students can understand this and they can't escape now. The ones who actually have a chance to be enlightened and consider a better career option will call it a distraction in their glorious neet journey and regret later.

I am already an engineer in the IT sector and I am still doubting my decision taken back in 2016 to drop bio as someone said "Bio me bohot padhna parta hai aur tumse na ho payga medical" and opted to prepare for JEE. Fast forward to 2024 and people are still saying "live with your decisions" but always felt a hollowness within. After seeing your video on pursuing MBBS at the age of 30 really motivated me. Only thing which is holding me back is my family's financial condition.
Mbbs is a fact based subject and it's vast, lots of memorization doing it 30s it's hard . But follow your heart what it wants
@@JananiParanthaman I think the doing it in 30s thing is not hard, because then think about all the professors and teachers who are teaching subjects for years, have they lost their memories? No na. They also have to learn new stuff everyday. Its only hard if you have less money, as you will be a full time student with no income for 4-5 years, that is the only issue.
@@RealTalkWithSSGthey say that because by 30 we need to support ourselves by having income! She has income from her job so she can support herself! But what about others ? Still depending on parents money for studies!?
Same situation bro... I left preparation of NEET in 2020 assuming that I will be incomeless until next 10 year. And I chose engineering in 2020. Now in 2024 I regret my decision such that I want to give up on my life 😢😢😢😢

Don't lose hope dear. You are currently just a first year student. I also used to feel very much demotivated in my first year. But in 2nd year, I gathered some motivation and believe me you will like few subjects and you will hate few subjects. This will keep on happening. Currently I am in 3rd 1st and I feel I will atleast like 1 subject among all these the most and will do my PG in that. In past 2 years, I just liked Microbiology. ☄️welcome back☄️
Thanks for such a really insightful information.
I have a question for you if you are comfortable in sharing or if it is already answered by you in your videos
After you had decided to change your career from Engineering to Medicine
1 Did you have second thoughts
How much time did it really take for you to actually start working towards it (I mean to get over what if's if you had any) ?
2. How did you convince yourself to do such a daunting task knowing that you will have to start your grind from the bottom again ?
I am thinking about changing careers myself which i couldn't do earlier due to some reasons
And whenever i feel like making the leap i go into a spiral of thoughts.
I could really use your help , insights to get some perspective
whenever you have time to respond
I recently saw your other video on subtle brainwashing that happens in india specially regarding careers and specific timelines under which we are expected to have our career , marriage , kids under pressure.
It really hit deep , once again Thank you for sharing such a wonderful insight with us.

It was my 2nd drop and I am getting around 460 (I started preparing after class 12 nd my financial condition is very marginal this year also due to health issues of my family member I can't study for 4 months that effectively). Because of reservation i might get a seat in an not so good GMC in my state.
I feel very ashmed with my marks and I am hesitating to take an clg (low tier) with this marks
I have already started studying for next year with an target of 680.
Should I take whatever clg o get Nd put my heart nd soul into PG prep or should I drop?
Not an expert..but considering ur economic conditions,if u r getting a medical seat, take it. U dont know how situations would be after one year. Its better to not loose the opportunity in this competitive world
College hardly matters for under-graduate. Better prepare for NEET PG instead of dropping another year.
Fighting for PG seat will more worth bro.. Do mbbs/UG from anywhere, even people are doing from abroad and doing well in pg.

Hello ma'am I msged u on WhatsApp. Wanted to hv some info about 1st year batch..
There should be a age limit as I can see now a lot of people who are in 30s or 40s remembering their childhood goals...but guys plz move on..there are so many young aspirants who are struggling to even start their own career in medicine. I mean please think...can anyone do engineering from IITs after 2 years from 12th ? No R yt... Because they have to move on as there is a limit so understand. I dont want to hurt anyone but I am not wrong too.
I disagree...a lot of doctors who have passed neet in their 30s and 40s take this...becuz they are passionate and are mature enough to be doctors...where as so many young ones get in without any idea of wht mbbs is really like...they are immature...and most don't even knw wht they ar3 getting into and most of them just do it foe the hype...and in the end it's aboit being a good doctor and having the ability to show compassion...
There is nothing wrong to choose a new path whenever they want...agr ques krna hi h toh reservation category pe kro..ki ek 600 pe select Hota h ek 500 pe...
And people Jo 30 -40 pe mbbs persue kr rahe h vo utna hi oadh rahe h jitna fresher utni hi practice krvrahe h jitna fresher so what's the difference... so there's nothing wrong atleast Kam mehnat Mai toh mbbs nahi paa rahe h
