Nah, Yajirobe is the real broken character. He is able to let anyone comfortably 1v1 characters like UI Goku and Gogeta, despite costing only 2 DP, all because he can fully heal himself with a fast animation, and he’s beefy enough to make it a struggle to take down unless you’re one of the hardest hitters. He can easily solo whole teams by slowly whittling them down, and cause he’s so cheap, you can still afford characters like Whis or Vegito and someone else just in case your opponent eventually managed to play perfectly.
Afterimage strike is so cheese lmao. The fact you can’t spend opponents afterimages with Ki blasts like in BT3, boosts characters with Afterimage Strike up into higher tiers.
Why do people keep saying "4 health bars" when a character has 4 squares ? Your last health bar is when you're at 0 squares so 4 squares is 5 health bars. The squares indicate the health bars remaining behind your current health bar, not your total health bars
People are just dumb. Same reason people say 1 shot when its like 50 attacks. Too dumb to recognize that there are 4 or 5 health bars and too dumb realize that a 1 shot and 1 combo kill are not the same thing
But.. you should always play differently around each character. Alot of fighting games are like that. For whis it's just, don't spam basic attacks as much.
Whis is absolutely broken. Especially for 1v1. You already have the ability to counter pretty much every attack in this game that on top of a basic attack dodge that doesn't drain any ki is crazy. Competent whis players will be unbeatable bruh
I feel the strength behind him having the UI Dodge is less so about it neutralizing rush attacks and more so that it limits your opponents options. While its active, you literally don't have to consider any rush attack options from your opponent, meaning you can instead keep an eye out for the throws or dash attacks more specifically. Its a lot easier to predict people when they have less options.
Kinda nitpicky but I wish they designed Whis like they do characters like Saitama or Sanji in Jump Force, unique way he "attacks" or gets "attacked". It breaks my inmersion a lil seeing Whis take battle damage and do sochk faces in certain supers.

Honestly only Burter is really worth it there's better teams you can do with similar cost. Characters like Sword Trunks, Teen and Adult Gohan in base all have the same cost as Ginyu. So can be so much stronger, then there's Yajirobe like 1000000x better than Guldo, Roshi is a really good 2 cost pick too. Honestly you could probably get a strong base 5 like Super Vegeta, Goku or even fucking Broly, any 4 cost like the ones I mentioned before, for a 3 cost Burter and Yamcha are very good choices, 2 cost Yajirobe is literally busted as hell and then a 1 cost Mr Satan. Same amount of members as Ginyus but much stronger potential

Ginyu’s body change is INSANE for the teams running any 10 DP and is great to start with and get the SP going. Recoome is probably the best 3 in the game with Whis Health and an insane ULT. Burter is insane too, Jeice is mid and Guldo’s ult is actually underrated as hell, really catches people off guard. Where they all shine really though is the fact they all have instant sparking. 5 instant sparks with an afterimage, an explosive wave for defense with jeice. Recoome just cooks, honestly it’s a fire team. Yajirobe is broken and yeah he could be better you just gotta stay on him no matter what, ki blast when he goes to heal. Ik it’s annoying and he shouldn’t get more than like 1 or 2 beans but yeah. There’s better teams but Ginyu is underrated rn

Symphonic Destruction is actually broken if used the right way. If you stun your opponent and use it it will do a ton of damage for only 2 bars, and if you have all 5 bars you can also use Prelude to Destruction right after. But yeah if you want to use Symphonic Destruction casually it 99% won't work because it's quite slow, I think it costs 2 for that reason. However, I may be wrong but it seems like the most offensive 2 bars move in the game

yajirobe is underated been destorying whis players on ladder, 3 bars of hp meh dmg n stuff but a senzu bean that full heals. many matches iv been able to use at least 1 or two make him have 6 bars or more in hp.
I think it's seen as unblockable because when you charge, you go behind them? So when you do that it's blockable but the time to actually block it is short AND you need to face it

Best way of using solar flare is going sparking solar flare into ultimate
I feel like people saw this, on Twitter, and they did whay they do best: Cry and complain. There is NO way that they would add someone who straight up couldn't be hit.
yajirobe is underated been destorying whis players on ladder, 3 bars of hp meh dmg n stuff but a senzu bean that full heals. many matches iv been able to use at least 1 or two make him have 6 bars or more in hp.
I beat a guy that used Whis with yajirobe ONLY earlier, after fighting vegeta and hercule.😂 Didn’t even need to swap characters

i main whis symphonic destruction is to counter dash attacks they fly right into it
I think it's seen as unblockable because when you charge, you go behind them? So when you do that it's blockable but the time to actually block it is short AND you need to face it
Did you know that master roshi has an outfit that makes him immune to solar flair
I think it's good that the character is expensive because it means new players will see less of it

Yeah so basically Whis is a monster at stalling with his impressive health and ultra instinct defense.
When I pick whis or mui goku , the auto Dodge dosnt work I dont know why
Idk he definitely isn't busted (we knew he probably wasn't gonna be since we first saw him)
But I think he definitely is worth value of at least 9 DP, 10 DP is not completely unreasonable as we would rather face much lesser people who have mastered this annoying character

No you just stand still and he automatically Dodges
@@KaitouKaiju naw sometimes it's automatic block instead, whereas revenge counter guarantees a dodge
Whis is an ok character but I usually use future gohan
So basically just dash first, then you can do any combos.

You know Solar flare hits when there’s an icon on the opponents side. Otherwise u just wasting bars. Doesn’t work from behind either

False Courage for one stock? That is pretty strong. And it doesn't even come with the attack debuff that it gave some characters back in BT3.
Whoever thought that ultimtes should be unblockable should be fired. what did they expect would happen, ofc the meta now is Ultimate spaam cause you cant defend against it with most of the characters.

@@sorax2871 yes , but actually no. There are Ultimtes in this game that can´t be blocked, if the opponent is in sparking mode and shoots a ultimate point blank there is littary nothing you can do to avoid it.

its still insane that ign rated this game the same as concord, sure the story mode is kinda meh but the gameplay makes up for everything
