99% completion and all I need to do is finish the Remnant data core quest. Unfortunately, I can't get more than 7 out of the 9. I can't get into the Voeld or Elaaden vaults, or go back to Meridian, so I'm screwed. Dammit!
The tip about the cores coming from the loot boxes after killing the architects saved my ass! I had killed 2 architests, and finished the first 2 vaults, but was missing 1 core. I had missed the loot box from the first architect.
the architects are all tied to missions you can pick up from your outposts once you set them up. Just continue to work on each planet until you can get your outpost set up and speak to each of the outpost leaders and you'll be good to go. As their locations will be marked on the map
The Architect on Kadara mission is acquired from Christmas the leader of Kadara's AI outpost who tells you that there is a cult that has formed in the outpost that worships some massive construct and that the leader of the cult has not come back after bringing "tribute" to this Old Skinner they call it and he task you with finding out what has happened to Bishop the cult leader.
Nice video. Really helped. More importantly, your choice of music for the video just reminded me how much I missed the original trilogy and how poorly BioWare dropped the ball with MEA.
Pretty sure you didn't feel so strongly about ME1 a month after its release. Updates, DLC, and sequels helped a lot. ME:A isn't a bad game, but comparing it to the original trilogy is setting it up to lose. People are attached to the trilogy and its characters.
MEA certainly isn't a 'bad' game, but it isn't a 'great' game either. It is a good game at best. As far as ME1 is concerned, not to argue your point for the sole sake of arguing your point, but I loved it. Yes, people (myself included) are attached to the OT and it's characters. That attachment was felt over 3 games whereas MEA had this 1 game to make an impact. This is where I feel they dropped the ball. It's Dragon Age Inquisition in space. They spent far too much time creating this open world and filled it with meaningless, tedious and monotonous fluff instead of focusing on what BioWare does best; World building and telling a story. Ryder was boring, the squad (with the exception of Drack and Jaal) were boring, the planets were boring and the Vaults with their space sudoku were boring and also frustrating. The only impactful moment of the game was the final mission which was short lived. A dense and rich at the cost of some linearity would have made for a much better game. ME1 did a little of the open world bit but it wasn't nearly as tedious. I can say this confidently as I am currently replaying the trilogy while I wait for MEA DLC to drop. I won't tread on your opinions; You're free to have them. These are mine and while they may be a bit against the grain it isn't exactly an unexplored or minority opinion. I've put as of right now (according to Origin) 198 hours into MEA so I don't hate it, I just feel it should have been better seeing as how it had a huge foundation and 5 years to build on.
so because MEA doesnt have 2 more sequels to improve and continue the story yet.....it is not as good as ME1? imo ME1 was subpar if it didnt have sequels. i beat ME1 100% so i never had to comeback to it and just start at 2. MEA is has the same problems as the first ME but has better graphics and good combat and better car control. which makes it better and when the sequels and dlcs roll out omg its gonna be good
I don't feel MEA nearly as good as ME1 regardless of the addition of 2 more games. The developers had a proper foundation to work with and they really missed the target on a number of accounts. Yes the game is beautiful and it is fun (don't let my critiquing of the game say otherwise) but when standing next to the accomplishments of ME1, it doesn't stand up too well. ME1 is a 10 year old game. For being 10 years old it's held up pretty well. The UI and combat systems were different, but fell well into the BioWare style of things. Look at the Dragon Age/KoToR series. ME1 wasn't much different. As I said before, I won't knock on other people's opinions; If you love MEA then that is awesome and kudos to you. I fell in love with the ME franchise for it's world building and the ability to tell an engaging story with engaging characters, some people love the game for other reasons. Who am I to judge? MEA for me is an 'ok' platformer/rpg/shooter that can't quite figure out what it wants to be. It's good, but not great. At any rate, I hope the DLC is going to be good because I'll definitely buy it.
i highly disagree with me1 holding up well. it is a mess and i didn't even get attached to the characters until the second installment, while in mea they had time to shine. but i cant argue with the rest of your point lol
I know I collected 9/11 but its only saying I have 7. I did almost all of these before the 1.5 patch. Only ones I know I'm missing is the voeld missable one and Khi Tasira. Must still be extremely glitched.
I only hace 4/9 and i missed the others. i Will never get the others because i missed them. even i missed the one on voeld and kih tadira.the only way to get them is by loading on a checkpoint you saved . its so frustrating
Thank u so much I didn’t know if I have to rest the game to we’re I need to find them I was praying hope there would be one down here and it was in so happy I got it thx u so much u are the best person in the hole world love your videos ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Good thing that if you missed one after killing architects it's still there. Checked those lousy vaults several times before found container left by architect i did not collect from.
there are 11 total. I was 8/9 and was doing a side Task after i finished the game. I can't remember the task.. one where I had to hunt down Kett devices at Rem sites and destroy them. After I blew up 3or 4 it gave me an unmarked vault and told me to kill the kett and stop their attempts to weaponize the Remnant. I was inside shooting the place up and there was one inside.. I think it was on Krogan planet. I know there are 3 on voeld, and three on the krogan planet.
I have re-started playing this game I got the data core automatically by doing the vault in Eos, followed by killing the artefact, I then got one in vauld (Not the vault or artifact one but it says I only have 1 and the mission only just came available after getting the vauld one can someone tell me if it's a glitch or something
i wasn't able to find a second remnant core node, either I have the worst luck with random drops or its a P.C. glich that bio ware never got around to fixing.
Great video, thanks for your hard work. However, the quest might be bugged. I got 1/11 no problem. 2/11, I missed the chest but it was there waiting for me. 3/11, I missed straight up. 4/11, I got during the mission. 5/11, I defeated the Architect, probably missed the chest, but could not find the chest afterward. I went back to the location several times and no chest anywhere. So now I'm stuck at 3/11 remnant data cores.
You're absolutely right. I did find all this locations but I didn't manage to finish the quest. I got stuck at 7/9 on my first playthrough and 8/9 on the second.
Thanks, this is what I was mainly looking for. I went down the relationship path with Peebee and I feel she has way too little dialogue, I was hoping this would've hsve her said something at least dammit.
if there are 11 remnant cores and i missed one on voeld than it means there must be some that i missed :( also can anyone tell me if i can still play after Meridian and ending story? to finish all side quests
I fought the architect in Voeld and thought interacting with it after would give me the core, I went and completed the mission then realised I was meant to also open a loot crate from it, well now obviously it’s fucking gone. Wasted all that time.
I’m really happy I looked this up before I started the game. Sounds like this is that one quest that no one can come back to complete
Thanks, this is a well done video, organized, time stamped and with no superfluous content.
7:20 Actually, if you investigate "Old Skinner" mission, it will ask you to go investigate the area, in which you will find the Architect.
Even if I get the one on Meridian, I will be on 8/9. Fml!
Oh Cheers I'm finally starting try and play through this and was stressing because I thought they were all on Eos What a well formulated video man
Incredible! I left the chest unopened after first boss. Saw it here!!! thx!!!
Great choice of music, bud!

Same here. Missed all the missable. I give up. Not gonna restart almost the whole game again.

Very good and meticulously made video! Thanks man, i needed this video!
would be nice if u showed us the locations of the architechs misspelled i need to backtrack for battle location
the crash did you find the Eos architect yet? I'm looking for the location too.
Would be great if I could find a map anywhere lol I feel like I'm missing an architect

Thanks a bunch!
Well good thing you're showing 11 I missed the one in the Voeld vault.
Thanks you so much !! i missed the data core on the Voeld Vault with task, and now i can finish the task with Meridian

Nice video, it helped me a lot. Thank you. Good music choice, too.
on the kadara architect, the quest is old skinner. it has to do with a cult worshiping the architect.
I've killed the first Remnant Architech but once i collected the remnant cores it did not update it
Sorry am late , but you have to open the chest It leaves behind
optional 3:58 saved my ass, I was missing one and it would take too long to check all potential missing boss loot boxes or vaults.thanks
i go to kadara vault secend time and still can go to room with data core
Me too. Good catch!
Grzegorz Krasnodębski
What?
actually the quest for the kadar architect is called old skinner. you get it after talking to christmas once you set up an outpost.

there is a quest for the Kadara Architect its called Old Skinner, you recieve it from Christmas Tate in the highest building of the Kadara Outpost
Thanks my friend
Is remnant data core the same thing as remnant core used for crafting heleus armor?
Radoslaw Dutkiewicz no
Arf 8/9 ( I think I missed some with the Vault and for sure with the Architects ), at least I will know in my next game. ^^;
Lol I know your pain
I've missed one at the Voeld Purification Vault already
Good thing that if you missed one after killing architects it's still there. Checked those lousy vaults several times before found container left by architect i did not collect from.
i'm at 8/9 and i can't go back in khi tashira voeld's vault and elaaden vault. am i fucked up?
It sounds like it. This task has 4 cores you can easily miss and therefore won't complete the quest.
oh, thx anyway
there are 11 total. I was 8/9 and was doing a side Task after i finished the game. I can't remember the task.. one where I had to hunt down Kett devices at Rem sites and destroy them. What kind of augments and mods are you using on your isharay sniper rifle?
Benny Blanco From Da Bay probably bio-converter
Does anyone know where to find the architect chest on Eos? I didn't pick up the core and I have know idea where it is.
Southwest of the Prodomos outpost is a forward station between two remnant pillar locations. The chest should be somewhere between them.
I have missed all the chests of the architects...is there any way to re-take them???
i wasn't able to find a second remnant core node, either I have the worst luck with random drops or its a P.C. glich that bio ware never got around to fixing.

@Zomber WonderClan
But it won't matter in-game.
Thanks, this is what I was mainly looking for. I went down the relationship path with Peebee and I feel she has way too little dialogue, I was hoping this would've hsve her said something at least dammit.
@AlessPlayingLikeaPro this didn't age well
Where did you get this music? I just listened it 100 times, Tempest jukebox?
It's the map screen music from the old Mass Effect trilogy.
Missed it by THAT much! 8/9
Fucked up part is I took my time in the vaults trying to find everything & STILL missed 🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣
Now I know I missed which Remnant Data Core! The Voeld Vault! :)) I was so worried about the FUCKING COLD!
They should either let you access the vaults again or put in more architects
What happens if i killed 2 of the architects but didnt opened their chests, can i still get those cores??
You’re technically fked. They wont reappear again once you outdone other missions or depart the planet. Time to restart your game saves.
Just out of curiosity, can you re-enter a vault ever once you've activated the purification field, as in go back and get the core if you missed it?
Joseph Farrell i looked, my vaults are locked
RAGE Lefebvre figured - thanks for checking though
Please help. What do i do if i missed to many of them.
Fucked, like me, even if i get the missing, too many are missable so enjoy some 99.99%
Where exactly is the remnant thing on voeld, the one near the Architect?
Thanks, great guide.
The drive core? What do you even get for keeping it like what does it do? Id rather want an outpost if its useless
hey listen everyone i just fount 3 remnant datacores in vault on eos near 1 of that plants you need there to jump giant distance and complete puzzle
Huh?
Am not sure what u said but ill check it if ain't nothing their ill be blaming u and marking u a lier
God send!! thanks for this pal.
I'm so confused at the start, I have one for free, when I do the architect, I have 2 yet it says that he has 4,explain
Will they release a patch to open the vaults at leasT?
they stopped making patches for the game, I blame the haters for it, they kept on hating it, even when Bioware was trying to make the game better!
can you tell us how many data cores on each planet please?
Ty for the rem-tech
Damnit, if it weren’t for Elaaden Remnant Architect not appearing, I could have done this.
if there are 11 remnant cores and i missed one on voeld than it means there must be some that i missed :(
also can anyone tell me if i can still play after Meridian and ending story? to finish all side quests
You can play after the ending.
wow...I missed one at voeld? and it's gone once I activate the vault? uugghh...well..gues I can't get her loyalty up there now can I..
never mind! Peebee just surprised me! O_O
This song is soothing
so many glitches in the game its unbelievable though. I have to go back to my old chapter saves in order to get the game running normally again...
Can anyone tell me the reward for this to see if it's even worth the time waste?
It's just another task. It isn't worth anything!
Just exp
soooo... I did this and I looked and my quest still says I have ONE... wtf
SOS on Elaaden first door is open, but second door is close( i already passed this vault)
I would see I get remnant cores from the architect but they never got added to the inventory. must be a glitch in my game
I do the missions first but now I wanted the heleus armor
I fought the architect in Voeld and thought interacting with it after would give me the core, I went and completed the mission then realised I was meant to also open a loot crate from it, well now obviously it’s fucking gone. Wasted all that time.
Thx heaps helped out a lot :D
Best video where get the cores
Much better video than Side Quest
Well I got 8 out of 9, but I also didn't know you can't go back and do some tasks.
Ok so how many people here like myself had to reload an old save because you missed a data core in one of the purification vaults?
The music hit me everytime I watch this, I wish they would have left it in Andromeda, it's synonymous with the series imo.
Thanks you!
Great but you aren't showing where they are on the map....
please tell me! that is just one of mmost beatyful son ever heard
Thanks a lot!
its cool eos keeps glitching out...trying to like this game
I have done all tasks and cannot find it how its fkin possible???
Is it me or is anyone else stuck on 7/9 remnant data cores found
Well fck me im stuck on 7/9 great
RAGE Lefebvre 8/9 me :(
As far as I'm understanding this is a quest that literally can't be finished unless you play the game a certain way. Wtf
I'm already fucked
NEed help finding remant core n Harval pls help replie asp
what do you even get for completing the task? it seems like yet another boring pointless fetch quest
It is another boring pointless fetch quest. You just get xp.
Really no message from Peebee or conversation from her after finding the 9th one?
NataSenpai nope, just exp
I killed an architect and looted it as well as the two vault ones. I go to the mission and it says i have 2 still -_- glitchy piece of shit
Stuck at 8 FML
I killed one of them and I got 3 cores
have
I hate this quest so much0
remnant data cores are absolutely useless.......there is no fucking point.
