That means i will have no work experience of working as a GP. My questions are: After passing AMC 1 and obtaining the certificate, does that certificate expire, and if it does it expires after how long? Because im considering coming to Australia after i complete my masters here in China. My second question is, is it possible to come with my masters and get a job and start working as an orthopedic specialist and yet i dont have work experience as a GP. If someone wants to become a GP in Australia then which pathway an IMG should opt for, standard or competent? As you mentioned in a video of yours that competent pathway makes things easier but here you said that AMC1 would be enough for a GP training.
For a GP training you will need to have a PR! You can’t do that without that! You also need a general registration that means u need to be working in Australia for atleast 2 years

1) You don't need AMC for the competent pathway, PLAB plus a year of working makes you eligible for the competent pathway
