Dani has ALWAYS had vocal power in her live performances. That was never an issue.
Ryan’s prediction was right - heavier and more mature sound. Very pleasantly surprised that their live performance of this song from the Warning Cave on Patreon today sounded every bit as good, including Dani’s vocals. We need more! 😎

This song is their best one so far for me...well produced, heavy and very well structured! Excellent!
They performed "Choke" live in The Basement as a 1500 Patreons celebration Friday and they pulled it off perfectly. So, not very much of the sound on the video was studio processing.
In before the block!! Don't trust UMG but hopefully you've paused it a couple times to help the video survive. This song is immense and a fantastic way to "break the band" to a much wider audience! Here's to TW and The Warning Army of which you are a very integral soldier!! I'm sure you will love it, so nothing else need be said...go for ludicrous speed!! \m/ \m/

According to Pau, the songs on TW3 were written in 2019. They wanted to start recording in early 2020 but went into contract negotiations with Lava. They finally signed the contract after seven months. After that there were some delays but finally started recording in September.
DPA have recharged my batteries and got me so ready to go to LIVE shows again!
Its a great song with a well produced MV with a power vocal from Dani. Really shows how good her voice is. Whether it's enhanced or not,it sounds brilliant and thats what counts. Many bands use 'layers' and they're no different. All look great and the lighting and camera work make it a memorable clip. Its a big step up from Queen (been over 2 years now). Very surprised to hear you say they're at their peak now. I'd say no where near it! Most performers dont reach their best til their mid to late 20's. The sisters are no where near that age. Dani is 21,Pau is 19 and Ale 16. Its an astounding achievement to write 3 albums by their ages. All are multi instrumentalists and so blessed with talent so its really not surprising. Good luck to them.
I get the feeling that their upcoming album might just be the 1 that really opens up the mass market to their material. Hopefully it won't be too long for the release.
I waited for the song to come out in its entirety as well. No spoilers. And right away, I knew I was in for it. Dani's intro, then that little grin, and BANG! And shortly after Ale gives that crooked smile as she grooves. She knows she's got you. Pau? No nonsense in your face, as expected. What I didn't expect was the multiple layers of the song, the bridge, and the really strong clear vocals. You can see/hear why it took TW so long to get this out to us. It's superb! The girls are young women now, and ready to get off social media and onto the radio. This is the album that will take them there!

i watched the reaction by the sound guy from def leopard , he said they would take off like a rocket by about there third or fourth album . that was about 3 or four yrs ago

Great guys, I like your reaction conversations! Spot on, it’s crazy how these girls developed in the last years… yes, you can notice the professional production. Ale‘s bass is outstanding, listen to the bassline at the 2nd verse… Dany sings great, sound is so thumping and tight! The video is great. Longing for the album, this is only 1/12th of the album… 👍⚡️🤘
Honestly, their live performances in the cave are even better than the video. They are just so good live. Dany's vocals are just as powerful and her harmony with Pau is great. Ale even reaches into to her low register to sing the quiet part in the break. They are high energy, tight, precise, and relaxed all at the same time. I think of Made in Japan where the live performances are better than the studio versions. With their stems and practice rigor I think TW has the potential to do a live album of original music and have it be as good and probably better than anything they could do in the studio. The hair and makeup and production in the video are all top notch but for me it separates you from the atomic nucleus they become when they play live. I never knew two of the songs on XXICB were recorded live until they mentioned it in a vlog. Jeez what a band

Dany's vocals on this song are as awesome as they are for a number of reasons, none of them being any kind of electronic manipulation. I'm willing to bet my very last dollar Dany would NEVER allow that to be.
At the time of recording these vocals, she was in the studio, intensely in the groove, and not going to allow anything but the very best sounds she could create to be put on the album.
Now, the other main thing to note is she was free of her guitar whilst recording, allowing full concentration on only singing and associated things, like posture, etc.. The quality of the recording, due to it being done on some very high-end equipment, only captured exactly what was coming from the Queen.
It's all Dany. Clean beyond imagination, but all Dany and nothing else. Guaranteed.

You guys think you're old, I'm 441/2 years older than Dany. I also noticed the improvement in Dany's voice. I've heard that they are receiving some vocal coaching and it shows. Dany used to struggle a bit to hit the higher notes but she nailed them here. A much stronger vocal performance for sure. Being almost 64, I grew up in the golden age of rock and roll and these young ladies are as good as anyone from the 70's. They would have been superstars 45 years ago. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

You know.. I hate festivals. But if you had a Festival... sort of a Rock Lilith Fair... with The Warning, The Pretty Reckless, Release the Archers, Haim, Pale Waves, and Babymetal.. Even though they aren't all female but all female fronted bands... I think I would go to that. There are some just amazing Female Fronted bands out there right now.

I was lucky enough to find the Warning years ago, a little before their Ellen appearance. I know I'm in the very small minority but I'm having a tough time liking this video. I feel like she should be doing this on the hood of a Camaro.
Even though I'm a lifelong Tawny Kitaen fan (RIP) I'm gonna have to disagree. These girls have grown up, but they've maintained their modesty and good taste, and I very much appreciate that.

The Warning have too much integrity to follow trends and add electronic garbage into their music.
I won't survive the fall, commercial for hotdogs, riff.
I know this is only the first song from the album so maybe its just this song i am not a huge fan of. But from this it def sounds like they have been signed and have a signed producer. I will use a Metallica analogy to describe my thoughts. To appeal to a wider audience Metallica toned down there songs for the black album but made them still hard enough to keep their hardcore fans. This song i feel like The girls skipped the black album and went straight to Load and Reload which divided the fan base. With extremely safe and extremely radio friendly written songs. I really hope this is just this one song and have not gone from being the hope of rebuilding the fire of rock and roll. To playing the same extremely safe and commercial rock music. That has been slowly killing rock and roll for the last 20 years.
