I am from CT, longtime Bridgeport, Milford, Hartford fan: Never seen games from Dania. Wow, the quality was great! These guys wanted to win! Mucho Gusto! Salute whoever you pelotaris were!
1: Zabala/Arbu (Dania), 2: Bolivar/Felix (Palm Beach), 3: Galla/Mendi (Orlando), 4: David/Enrique (Daytona), 5: Aramayo/Javier (Tampa), 6: Azca/Zarria (Miami). Azca was a Dania player who subbed for Miami player Arra.
That #4 team was impressive , never saw these guys , somebody said fc was David? who is he , never saw him again? and that motion of that bk ct man#4 was crazy shit!! great play , saw alot of tourneys !! that was like superbowl of jai alai
I always thought referees allowed American players to get away with taking too many steps or holding when the did their carom close wall kill” shots and allowed them too many steps when they got pinned up against the wall. In comparison the Basque and French did these things consistently smooth, in rhythm, in on fluid motion. I have no idea who the players here were but I didn’t see. Anything but quality and heart!

They called him rocky. .Hollywood in milford. I went to Bridgeport and milford 1980 to 1983 ...great times.

Backcourt for 2 team is huge. Bolivar looks slower and thinner then he did in 81 82 Bridgeport. He is great...but remen. Joey...inclan...all up there

Steven Weiss Impossible. This was 4 years before Barronio came to Dania. Zarria is playing with Azca here, #10 on the Dania roster at the time

I watched him play alot....cachin was up there. Remen maybe a:bit better in singles...its close. Zulaica boniguen best team in a partido I've seen

Elorza overrated. Ondarru best backcourt catcher ..he won partido with Bolivar. Remen was amazing

Joey beat Bolivar in doubles partidos at Mitlford ...I think 2 out of 3
Joey had that one put away shot. Bolivar at Milford was not the Boli Of Tampa/Bridgeport.
