Think Rosé hard to love was Teddy trying to shake her loose. More than just a track but a confidence booster for letting her know we want to know her truth, she needs to tell us her thoughts, we want to hear her as a writer and composer show herself.
I agree. Especially seeing how self conscious and afraid she is when she talked about being in the studio by herself and writing her feelings out. I’m glad she got a solo in the album, makes her so much appreciated and special. I do think they should’ve add at least 10 songs but oh well. My favorite song from Rosé.

A lot of people thought that Rosé is one of the songwriter for Hard to Love but unfortunately she's not. But her vocal in that song is just pure perfection and she literally made that song her's 🔥
And yet we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. Rosé could also wrote in this song just like the other members in the album, coz Teddy the producer, said that the girls are very creative and can write their song but YG don't even properly credits the girls and do them dirty.
And Rosé, if you already heard her recording in Build a Bitch, you can definitely see that she got the talent of writing various songs. Idk why YG wastes their talent when it comes to songwriting tho 💀

Hard to love is my favourite song on this album. It’s also one of my favourite blackpink songs in general. Tally and the happiest girl are probably the next ones. Hard to love and the happiest girl make me feel chills every time. I love it.
"Hard to love" is so good! The songs soundscape reminds me a lot of the Future Nostalgia album by Dua Lipa. Which is among the few albums by western artists i heavily listen to, so only the highest praises from me.

Everyone did amazing in this album that's for real. Jennie and Rosé did amazing as always. Tho I just gotta say again and again, the versatility of Lisa and Jisoo in this album is just insane. Their vocals so beautiful and everything else is on point. They really slayed this album. For me, Born Pink is LiSoo era.

i cried listening to hard to love for the first time bc it finally hit me that bp is BACK and hearing rosé heartbreakingly beautiful voice just brought out such emotions i teared up. its a nostalgic, sad, yet upbeat song which is mind-blowing. def my fav off the album

The reason why Typa Girl reminds you so much of Money is because Bekuh Boom originally wrote this song for Lisa along with Money! So yes, they're similar because it was originally supposed to go together to Lisa haha
I see a lot of people hating on rosé for the suddently solo she had on this album while all we are waiting hard for a jisoo's song. Honestly Hard to love for me was the best surprise ever, I am also waiting for the jisoo's solo but I feel that hard to love brought a side of rosé that we all wanted in her solo debut, also it added up so much richness to the album. I am proud

I think Yeah Yeah Yeah would be perfect as the last song of a concert / final encore…..the song ends on a positive vibe and it’s perfect for Blackpink members to jump around on stage without sticking to a strict choreo as they wave and walk off stage.
Literally. I was at their encore and it was the last song before as if its your last. Its so much better to hear it live. I remember everyone was jumping to this song.

I definitely think hard to love being in the album is the perfect idea. A lot people are saying this should’ve been the title track for her album but I disagree because she had a very anticipated debut and it had to be GRAND and still match her because I bet people would’ve attacked her for releasing something so chill.
Anyways, I loved the album!!! All tracks were so stunning and I felt every member was so memorable this time!

i love yeah yeah yeah! it sounds more like it was influenced by those early 2000’s chick-flick-bff-sleepover type movie soundtracks which were inspired by the iconic 80’s teen flick movie soundtracks WHICH were massively pioneered by john hughes. i think thats one of the reasons why it sounds so comforting and nostalgic to us because we all really grew around this music and the influence that rippled through time and culture

For hard To Love I don't know of someone already told you but according to the writer of the song, he had given them the demo with all 4 of them in mind in June this year and they took it pretty quickly, and then Blackpink decided to "Make changes to the song".
I personally believe that the changes were making Rosie sing it solo, I believe all of the girls saw her singing it, even Jennie mentioned on her live with Rosie for their anniversary that her favorite song on the album is the fifth song - which was hard to love -
I believe that Blackpink as a group appreciates each other's talent, believe in each member and they won't make a decision unless they are sure about it 100%.

Bekuh Boom said that she wrote "Typa Girl" for Lisa's next solo projects (and it turned into a group song instead).
Bekuh Boom is credited as a writer and composer of "Money" so it makes complete sense why they sound similar.

Yeah Yeah Yeah has an 80's vibe and I think they were playing into that by having it fade out. Most songs from the 80's did that. Also, I heard somewhere that originally Typa Girl was meant to be a solo song for Lisa and Hard to Love was supposed to be all of them.
