It does not allow you to enter any forum or update the gym. We are from Brazil. We are 79 players with Matrix and we get that we cannot enter the page. It tells us that you are out of reach.

Hello! I have a question. What actions do I need to assign in the matrix so that when I click on the Dualsenses D-PAD left it switches to a semi-automatic weapon with Rapid Fire and when I click on the D-PAD right it switches to an automatic weapon with normal shooting. What actions do I need to do in the xim matrix (assign groups to these weapons or set a switch)? Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Yes you would assign groups to DPad Left and Right as shown in the last part of the video with the cycle.

I was wondering if you could make a video, ONLY explaining how to group primary weapon recoil setups and how to switch between them? ive gotten as far to make a recoil file, but im stuck trying to make a recoil file for all my primary weapons and group properly. keep dropping that good information brother!
Hey, that is what the last part of the video does. You can use that for primaries and just delete the part about the secondaries.

When I go to create a group and hit the "cycle groups" option, the only two choices are "next" and "previous" there are no "set" cycle options? how do I fix this?

This is a great channel and you are a masssive help to the community! Ive just purchased the matrix and im having a few issues trying to figure out group bindings, i have everything set, but within my group both are active at the same time and not cycling, which would be counter intuitive to having 2 sets of recoil for 2 weapons at once which would lead to some wonky behaviour with the weapons, if i could share photos to make things a bit bit simpler to understand i would, Im 90% sure ive set everything up correctly but for some reason the groups arent toggling for one to the other 😞
Hey, have you updated your XIM to the new firmware? Also check that you are using cycle set instead of cycle as otherwise active groups remain active when activating the cycle.
Maybe the matrix isn't capable of doing what I'm trying to achieve, I have key 7 as (the same as my load out) to move into my group bindings which has an anti recoil adjustment for the HRM and one for the SOA, I've grouped them but they don't switch and are both active at the same time, how do I only activate one at a time? I have switch weapon (key 3) to toggle group cycle but it doesn't seem to be? Maybe I am just being really dumb but having both recoils active at the same time wouldn't produce the best results, any help would be greatly appreciated if any of this made sense ✌️

Ideally I want 1 gun active in the group and switching my weapon would automatically deactivate that and activate the other weapons binding, so one is active and the other is greyed out, I was sure this would be the case but if not it would be an amazing feature to have going forward and considering the amount of features the xim has already I wouldn't of thought it would be difficult, or maybe I'm being an idiot and haven't set it up correctly 🤣
I guess the only way would be to create 3 separate configs for the 3 loadouts I have in warzone 🤔
hey, i’m wondering if the razor huntsman elite and logitech g203 mouse will work with xim matrix? i heard the matrix might not be able to power too much rgb.
I havent heard of any of these to not work, but yes powerdraw issues could occur. In that case either connect an external power supply to your XIM (such as a powered USB Hub) or turn off the LEDs of your devices.
Hello I really appreciate your videos i just bought a matrix and they helped alot. But it says i have reached the max bindings even though i have less than have you have?
Either delete some actions to free up space or wait for the next beta firmware which will increase the binding capacity limit by a lot! ;)
So if i want to use multiple weapon recoil groups in Apex Legends i just use your method like you did with the crouching? For example button 1 is default, 2 R99, 3 Flatline en so on..? Ofcourse you need to know which button is which gun. Correct?

i’m trying to do the rust recoil and for some reason when i’m like close it’s like pretty good but when i go far it’s start to not work like it goes for the most part side to side do you know what going on ?
Hey, the longer the distance the more apparent minor anti recoil inaccuracies become. I would say create another Workshop on top of your existing one to fully remove the last few recoil outliners. Then it should also be accurate on range! :)
Is there a max amount of configurations? I’m having trouble I have quite a few but it won’t let me add more
Yes there is, you can have up to 24 configs. After that you must delete some (top right options manage configs).
When I press 5 for example to load my ace set with the pistol it loads both the pistol and aces primary how do I get it to load only 1
You specify that accordingly in your "5" binding. See the end of the video on how to do it. One group gets activated, the other is deactivated.

Id go with different configs and groups. Say its Apex Legends. Config 1 is set to hotkey X and covers all weapon combinations of R99 + whatever via dedicated groups. Say R99 + Flatfline, R99 + R301, R99 + Shotgun and so on. Then the second Config 2 is set to hotkey C and covers all combinations of Havoc. So Havoc + Flatline, Havoc + R301, Havoc + Shotgun and so in. So all you got to do in the game is load the respective config via hotkey, and then select the group of the exact weapon combination you are using. So with 2 button presses you always have the right setup.
hey, how can i make it so i can only use one bind on my controller ( left dpad ) to scroll thru and activate all my groups instead of needing multiple binds
Use a modifier for that. When the modifier is held, you switch into a brand new controller binding that doesnt affect your game. So you can do DPad down + right trigger = group 1, DPad down + left trigger = group 2 and so on.
How on earth do I set up a separate config inside of a certain game config? Like I want to set up a separate flying configuration for battlefield 2042 that I can change back and forth to at the press of a button

Hey, you have maxed out the maximum amount of bindings. Either delete some bindings and smart actions, or create a second config to store additional Workshop results in it. Later in 2024 the XIM Devs will explore possibilities to raise the binding limit.
In cycle part what if i want to remove the rapid fire for pistol , would still work ?
Sure you can just remove it from the cycle!
Hello, Apex Legend does not work when I copy the shared settings. The keyboard key is firing, the mouse is not moving. Please help, while XIM Apex was playing fine, XIM Matrix was disappointing.
Hey, make sure to deactivate the Nav Mode as that will prevent your mouse from working. See the XIM instructional videos from the XIM website for more infos on that.
So how would I do it so if one game I pick a volt and hemlock in apex and the next game I pick up a volt and r301 and load the recoil for each without messing up the other
You assign respective groups for those as shown in the last part of the video. Say press 1 to load r301/volt, press 2 to load r99/flatline, ...
Hello can you help me so I followed everything in the video and I'm having trouble getting the the pistol to shoot in rapid fire. Basically if I do everything you do and etc the primary works perfect anti recoil is perfect and the pistol will shoot normal. When I go to my bindings/mappings section I noticed that your R2 button is not shown on the screen ( if it were it would have been made the the 2nd binding listed at the top) so I took my mine off as well and bam the pistol works and shoots rapidly but when I switch back to the primary gun it won't shoot and goes straight down (anti recoil). Basically how do I get the pistol to shoot rapidly and to be able to use my anti recoil for my primary as shown in the video lol
I have everything layed out perfectly. The anti recoil and pistol is binded up in a group and I have my switch weapon button grouped up with the "next" binding just need help figuring out this issue with the guns not firing. Once I assign R2 back on the bidings the primary works and then the pistol goes back to shooting single again.
Hey, your weapons should always be able to shoot in ADS mode when copying this. What the shown config is missing is a HIP binding that allows you to shoot. You can add a regular HIP shooting binding to all anti recoil groups except for the rapid fire group to solve this. You cannot add it to the rapid fire group because then this binding will prevent the rapid fire from working.
Not sure what you mean by hip binding but what I did was just added a R2 fire button to every anti recoil group like you said it works.. And Thermite is my favorite character anyway I can get you to make a config code for him and his primary gun pleeeease! :D @@XIMCentral
@@MartialMadnes That also works! :) Thermite uses the same recoil pattern as Castle and Frost i think, which i covered in one of the two Siege recoil videos in think!

You mentioned in a comment there is a way to assign groups/recoil cycles to guns not just keys for example if I pick up and hold the r99 in apex it automatically switches to that recoil control pattern is this possible and if so could you point me in the direction to get this info I’d appreciate it

Hey again, i noticed when i fire a full mag and i keep holding L2 & R2 while it reloads it looks down..
And while reloading if i also hold R2 only it also looks down, how do i fix
Your XIM has no idea whats going on in the game. So by continuing to hold down your fire button your XIM continues to keep the anti recoil effect active. But since there is no recoil anymore as your weapon is empty it moves down your aim.
I’m having some issues with the groups. I have two groups, normal fire and auto fire. Sometimes in the middle of a game it switches to a auto fire group automatically and I can’t switch it back to normal. The auto fire stays even if I delete all settings of auto fire. This is really strange and I have to restart the console and XIM matrix to reset it
Hey, that sounds like something is off in the group management. Check the activations, something in there must be set up in a way where you can run into a one-way path where you cannot get out of anymore. Also reloading your config or switching back and forth from a different one will reset all groups (or you setup a button within your config that resets all groups).

i’m trying to create a smart action on the ps5 that opens the playstation keyboard, but whenever it’s on the screen, no inputs will register.
i’ve tried r2 to press done, o to close it, d-pad/analog sticks and x to manually close it, nothing works except home button and share.
what am i doing wrong?
Hey, you would need to switch into a MnK output config for your PS5 to briefly register your XIM as an actual keyboard.

i don’t really understand. whenever i change the output in connection method to mouse and keyboard, the xim matrix disconnects from remote play entirely and i can’t use it
@@witchlocked Thats to be expected because you go from Remote Play -> native MnK. Nothing works in MnK mode because you havnt bound any keys yet. You would need to bind Keyboard K = K, Keyboard J = J and so on in order to use those. It may be more comfortable to just use 2 configs that you switch through. One for Remote Play and one for native MnK with all keyboard keys being bound inside it.

I own all your products. I decided for myself that I would like to play on a gamepad, I really like the hyposcope on the xim nexus, but the sticks of all the gamepads are better and the dualshok 4 is what I’m used to, but the hyposcope on the nexus is better. are you planning to update nexus ll☺️?
That is something the team would like to explore in the future actually! :) If you prefer the DualShock maybe give Matrix + Dualshock a try, it lets you use the gyro too. The gyro module isnt as good as the one from Nexus, but maybe it still plays good enough for you! :)

What do I do if my binding has the maximum amount of actions but I need like 5 actions more?
You will have to delete some bindings to free up some space.

I’m going to second this.
I’ve had to outsource to the community for a better understanding.
No tutorial videos, no instruction videos, and more often then not, people just ask to copy config codes rather than grasp a deeper understanding and build their own.
Takes the fun out of the builds with the frustration that comes along.
Yes instructional videos help but limited to explanation.
This is the most informative video thus far. I’ve own the matrix since the first set were available to community.. it still collects dust because I can only give an hour before I give up and revert back to my xim apex. (I’ve owned xim since xim4)

It would be beneficial for even just a picture of what each button in the UI represents and an “example.”
The community is a great source to help resolve issues and it’s because of the community the xim remains as successful as it is. Don’t get me wrong, what is built on a technical standpoint is second to none, but without others to help and give feedback, it might not have done as well.
I’m hoping to retire my apex soon and just use my matrix. I’m still struggling with a couple features I can do with my apex that I can’t build with my matrix.

@@shawnhillis5829you can’t join a small community of cheaters and then get mad that the cheating is not easily accessible, this page actually helps a lot and if you don’t find it helpful figure it out yourself
is there any way they'll ever add more groups? i use a lot of different operators and cant get all the anti-recoil settings i want in the limited groups. as of right now i am only using group bindings to my most popular operators and an all-around recoil that helps most operators.
Later in 2024 this will be looked into. The Dev Team is currently working on a few other, more important features that see more demand within the XIM Forum. In the meantime you can use several configs to have access to more groups. Switch through them with config hotkeys.

@@falloffsss You would use a second config which allows you to access another 7 groups. Load it via the hotkey functionality, which makes it work like another group with 7 sub groups.

Hello, I am having problems copying the shared configurations. When I choose the game I will play, I am asked to choose what I will play with. Since I play with keyboard and mouse on PS5, I choose keyboard and mouse. What should I choose
Pick mouse and keyboard if you want to play with MnK, or pick Mouse and Gamepad if you want to play with mouse, keyboard and controller.
i can't get the cycle primary and secondaries working it doesn't turn off the primary anti recoil
Hey, in that case there must be a setup error somewhere. Compare your setup to the one shown in the video, somewhere there must be a difference.
Od1n i got a wooting keyboard set it up and if i want to use analog movement i make a mouse and gamepad config then select wasd movement on the config?
Yes! But please read the Wooting Matrix setup guide from the XIM Forum. There are a few extra steps you must consider!
Why do you have to select wasd bindings in analog mode in the config? You are already using the left stick as movement right…?

@mathialba when you make a mouse and gamepad all the buttons aren't binded to anything and I can't move around until I click on the left stick and select wasd movement
@@ferzahfy5196 A Mouse and Gamepad config wont come with pre-bound keyboard keys. So you have to manually add those. What you described is therefore to be expected when selecting a Mouse and Gamepad config.
For me everything works fine except for when I try to swap to my secondary I can’t get it so just active my rapid fire it just goes down the list of my anti recoil every time I press it
Hey, did you assign a cycle next to your "switch weapon" button as shown in the video? You can have it switch into your rapid fire smart action then to activate rapid fire for when you are using your pistol.

Hey, its a bug with the current alpha firmware that doesnt automatically activate the first group A. A fix will be out soon. Until then just manually activate group a via a dedicated button binding.
Can I make it so when I use scroll wheel down (which I use for switching weapons) to go from primary then scroll down to swap to the secondary and also active the group for the secondary then scroll down again and deactivate the secondary and active the primary?

You explain this very well. I did set up my settings, but when I activate my anti-recoil, I cannot shoot my gun. My group shows active, but the recoil script doesn't work. I'm not sure how to explain it better. And how to make it work ! 😅
Have you maybe bound it to ADS only? Alternatively just bind a second fire action, or add a RT100% binding to the start of your workshop result. Normally it should already be in there by default.
I have to say, you're the best! Even though you do this part-time, you manage to respond to everything. It's really kind of you. I managed to find and resolve the issue.

Yes absolutely! Though you could also use modifiers such as DPad Up + Controller X = group A, DPad Up + Controller Y = group B and so on.

Your firmware must be on the new beta version, same for your manager.
For me, crouch and fast-c are both inactive when I assign a group...... 1:44
Check if the group activation is correct and that one is active before the other one is toggled.
i need help with leaning left and right while aimed in your r6 config video. you never went over that step can you help?
Leaning is done through the same buttons that you use for melee and sprint. If in doubt always chekc the ingame controller layout to see which button performs which action.

XIM Apex isn't being produced for like 3 years now and won't return as the components cannot be sourced anymore. It's successor XIM Matrix is out since a few months now.

@@2kwhip An Ethernet cable is only necessary for the PS5. See the "instructional videos" on the XIM website for all details on that! :)

I made those group they work fine, but
1. i noticed i cant use example Maverick ability correctly because it keeps pulling the ads down and it doesn’t fire when
2. If i decide to run any other operator thats not a part of my group they cant shoot and when i put an extra R2 in then the fast shooting on the pistol goes away
You need to add shooting actions to your anti recoil bindings so you can always shoot. That way you also avoid the pistol issue. As for the first issue, when you use the torch your XIM has obviously no idea that you are using it as it gets 0 feedback from the game. So ideally bind another shooting button that doesnt trigger any anti recoil that you exclusively use for the torch. Or you setup a button to deactivate the anti recoil when using your equipment via groups.
Im on ps5 controller and i find it quite difficualt to figure out the mavrick situation, i have the same setups as u have in that video

@@MUMU--cc1cv Hey, as i said you will either have to bind a new shooting button to not trigger your anti recoil when using the torch (difficult on a controller due to limited amount of buttons), or you set up your groups so that the cycle gets deactivated when you switch to your equipment torch and gets activated again when you remove it again. Another option is to just not use a rapid fire setup for your secondary when playing Maverick as that allows you to use your pistol setup for when using the torch. At last, you could also set your anti recoil to ADS only and just not go into ADS mode when using the torch. This is probably the most easy and straight forward solution and doesnt require much adjustments. The general issue remains though, your XIM has no idea what is going on in the game so you will have to juggle those cases for your XIM by setting it up accordingly.
Hey i just noticed u have 2 of the same inputs as an example when u use ur primary weapon at 10:45 there is 2 “ace pr” activated how is that? I only have 1 what did u do to get a second one and whats the difference

You need to update your XIM Firmware and XIM Manager to the new version! :)
on latest update matrix , following the video step by step but cycle groups and revert groups are not coming up
managed to update it on the ios , now keyboard mouse and controller have no response when plugged in

Matrix is PS5 compatible, but if you want to use the USB port of the PS5 then yes you need a U5.

That depends on the platform. On PC and PS5 its not required, but on Xbox it is.

Yes, or you use dedicated configs per weapons which is a bit more complicated id say.

Nexus doesnt have this particular group firmware update yet but yes you can switch with one button on Nexus too.

Hey @XIMCentral My xim started actin weird ever since I plugged my Xbox Scuf controller in with it. Everyone I plug it up my Xbox, it’ll turn on then start blanking white in bursts repeatedly and won’t work. But it doesn’t do it when I plug it into my laptop. I factory reset it and updated firmware to the latest multiple times but it still does it. Any fixes?
Are scufs using a authentic Xbox controller? If you have another controller try that one
@@Haunttts yea the scuf elite controller might have been the prob but I no longer try to use it. No matter what I plug in the matrix, it’ll always start blanking in white bursts and don’t work
What platform are you trying to play on? White blinking means the XIM cannot communicate with the platform you try to play on.

Yes absolutely! I would suggest to use modifiers for controller players. Say you hold down DPad Up as your modifier, and then press X to load group cycle 1 for example. That way you do not need to connect a keyboard to load all these profiles!

As soon as I put that gun in a group, I have zero recoil again ?
The same thing happens if I try to set my primary up first , then deactivate.
And set up the secondary weapon ,
When I go to activate both , zero recoil on both again ?

yo my anti is being really weird. I am using qurkkys settings and i tried to just adjust ur anti reciol values to work but i’m at 2.97 and it goes up and then 2.98 goes down.
My anti recoil values will only work if you use the same settings as me. If you use the ones from someone else you will have to adjust all smart action magnitudes.

@@nuggis Its actually quite easy to setup. I recommend to check out the smart action chapter in the XIM Manual which goes over such basic things. My videos usually cover more advanced things, so the manual might be the way to go first (and also sufficient for your planned project).
@@XIMCentral yeah i just finished it i understood it but it seemed like a tedious process to setup the groups, like apex had so easy setup process i will rewatch it multiple times maybe i didn’t understand it completely🤣
@@nuggis Yeah this became a bit more complex but in return other things are far easier to setup with Matrix. You can also go the easy route and just use several game configs that you load via hotkeys. Each game config is like a sub config then.

Ok I know I ask a lot of questions and I apologize. I set my xim up and it felt amazing! I’m a wrist mouse user not arm. The next day I log on and the sense was dramatically slower out the blue without me changing a thing. Is this a bug?

@@Ripper_J Oh you got the sensitivity bug then due to using non-default advanced settings. See the XIM Game Settings topic on how to solve the issue! :)
@@XIMCentral negative. I didn’t use them at all. I purposely made sure all settings were correct. Advanced settings were disabled
@@Ripper_J Advanced settings must be set to default values and then deactivated. On some consoles setting them to 0 doesnt equal default. If in doubt reset your ingame settings to have the default ones again.

For now its limited to 7. In future firmware versions this limit will be raised most likely.

Hey, either your ingame settings are different for both accounts or one of them suffers from the ingame sensitivity bug when using non-default advanced settings.

You can create a second config with no anti recoil + assign a hotkey to it. Whever you press the hotkey it will load this config and you have no anti recoil anymore.

@@ms_tf7579 Then its a powerdraw issue, your devices need too much electricity. Either reduce the load by turning off LEDs, charging the controller and such or add an external power supply to your setup.

@@ms_tf7579 You can get a USB Hub with an external power supply (5v 3A). Connect the hub to your XIM. And then your mouse and keyboard to the hub.

That wouldnt work since you would copy all bindings and everything else. It will take more time to readjust everything else than manually copying and inserting the steps shown in this video into your own config.
I’ve noticed that when I apply a recoil modifier my recoil is laser like. After I finish my gaming session and comeback the next day, my recoil is no longer laser like?? Serious question.

@@XIMCentral So it happened today on the new MW3 PS5 in game. I have 180 angle at 25.25 aim magnitude sometimes it fluctuates randomly and I either have to adjust back to 26 magnitude vice versa. Is it because of deadzones? Idk thanks for answering! And I always save.

It cycles through your set. Say you have a set of 3 groups, when pressing next you go from 1 to 2, then from 2 to 3, then from 3 to 1 again and so on.

Hey, the config used in this video is the same one as from my Matrix R6 Config video + the anti recoil smart actions from my two Matrix R6 anti recoil videos.
I just got the MT after 7 games played, I use your same game configurations and on xim manager I also use your same no-recoil configurations. I use a wooting60he keyboard that sends analog inputs and a logitech gprox superlight “1000hz” mouse. I have a sab value set to 60. What could be the problem?

When all my equipment is wired and the matrix is plugged in, there is excessive ping. When I remove the matrix, the ping problem goes away, please help.

It is definitely related to the internet because when I do not move at all, other players also move with ping. And my ping value is standard. What could be the reason?
Are both your Matrix and PS5 connected via Ethernet to your router? Matrix doesnt use your Internet, so any ping issue is related to your network setup. If one of your devices uses WiFi then ensure there are no WiFi interferences such as wireless mice, headsets, phones and other stuff nearby. Those can cause ping spikes.
@@XIMCentral It is connected to PS5 with a matrix cable. None of my devices use wifi, they are all wired. I used Beloader Pro and I never encountered this problem. There is no problem in the shooting range, but when I start the game, I get stuck playing but my ping value shows low. What could be the solution?

It’s your xims hz if I recall correctly they aren’t matching
Your mouse polls slower than your XIM, which is a problem as that will cause stutter. Either increase your mouse polling rate or reduce the polling rate of your XIM.
What do you do if your on ps5 controller
In that way only the buttons change that you bind this to. Everything else remains the same. I recommend to use modifers for that since that allows you to use controller buttons without them triggering any action in the game! :)
