I agree. I saw that parade and I couldn't believe it. But it dawned on me that over there, the collectors really have a thing for Rally.
Great impression from the event. Unbelievable that the winner was the McLaren. I've seen a bench of McLarens at the Goodwood members meeting of 2015. Never would have dreamed that a car like that would be the winner of the concours in 2024. You can say that Rowan Atkinson had a really good taste when he purchased his McLaren new!

My best car of the show (optically) is this black/white Maserati A6 GCS by Frua 00:08. That's a very rare car for the real connoisseur, wonderful lines and the engine sits where it has to be. Sadly, as a lot of the older cars shown here, this did not get the attention it needs to run such a car properly, as you can see (smoke) and hear (stutter). I do not know if the reason is ignorance or just stingyness to get this right. My senior boss owned a Jag XK150 with a very rare engine and in his case it was the latter...
Also interesting that the camera stays with the M1 01:58 and not with the 507 in front, which is a much less common car.
