With the sad news with Gary Schofield I personally think John Kear would be an ideal regular on the LE Podcast. That was an excellent watch and his knowledge is second to none. Keep up the good work guys 👏🏻
With a bit of fiddling couldn't you make the Challenge Cup final the last game of the Magic Weekend? By simply counting it as a league match for the two finalists and drawing the remaining teams like usual? It would depend, of course, on the finalists both being Super League teams, but isn't there a case to be made that pro/rel is a bad idea anyway?
Problem is the pacific nations care about rugby league themselves - not just expats in Aus and NZ. Do the Scottish, Welsh, Greek, Lebanese give a damn? I don't think so...
