Another stellar tutorial! I like it in "G". Pete Townsend sings in that key that only dogs can hear! This is for us mortals. Excellent. Has a bit of a "Cat Stevens" feel this way. I loved it.

Great job Marty. You put a great folky feel to a classic tune. This song is dear to me because of the sentiments in the lyrics. It would be awesome if you could lay out the chords in comments along with the lyrics so all could follow it better.
i.e.
(G) When (D) People (Cadd9) keep repeating (D)
and so on.
Or if you could superimpose the chords in the video as you're playing the song.
It would make it a lot easier for begginers like me to play it well and may help your viewership.
I watched you play it over and over till I got it down pretty well. Now I just have to play it about a 1,000 times till it's natural.

Marty, I got the G-D-C9 back to D but I can’t figure out when you throw the regular C and EM in. Could you elaborate?

Can someone breakdown the strumming pattern?
ive been playing for a bit and i can see why its challenging. What I think he does when he transitions from C back to D to G he strums UP then DOWN but while hes doing it its being hammered on back to G.
