    Perfect timing with this video, as today I tried them for the first time uphill but I only get somewhere over 90 degrees in a hop..But the log tip is just great .Will try it tommorow.Thanks !

    You make it look easy, a fairy advanced technique that requires a combination of things

    Another great video Pat! Maybe you could do a video on all the advantages to be had by using the back brake. Learning finesse with the back brake and clutch really took my Supermoto, Enduro, Road racing and of course Trials to the next next next level. Thank You!

    Like Pavarotti said - Itš easy, probably takes some 10 years to achieve that :)
    Tomorrow is my first trial lesson. I am 47.

    These videos are amazing but the different techniques are so hard when practising!

    • @PatSmage

      Agreed! It would be boring if it was all easy though!

    When you say that your not good in your videos, that is not true. In Tennessee for the 2018 nationals, I saw you practicing beside the trail. I also got your signature on two of your cards. If you remember “the clean for me and dirty for my friend” or I’m the Canadian that was hanging out with everyone at the Sherco and Scorpa tents.

      @@PatSmage But I really like that your how-to videos are to the point, not over-produced with a lot of blather. You're not just another "youtuber," you're a real expert.
      I'm practicing trials and often I'll take a break to watch one of your videos on my phone and pick something to focus on.

    I can do this to my left side but no chance to my right

    • @PatSmage
      @PatSmage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am better to the left. Need to keep practicing the rights!

    • @jonbraid2520
      @jonbraid2520 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the reply Pat, your videos are my Trials secret weapons, learnt so much!
      It feels so easy and natural to the left side, but the right everything feels a big effort and looks a mess timing wrong, everything 🤣
      I'll keep trying thoug.

    Any youtubers out there master this one?
    I don't think a 180 on flat ground is going to happen for most of us. Oh well!
