This film brought back lots of happy memories of the days when my mate and I used to walk the line, second shot I've stood on that hut a few times to film Thank you for sharing.
Last traveled on the line just before the section from Winchester City to Alton closed (back in 1968) I think. Your film prompts a return visit. Many thanks for sharing!
Liam, a first class set of shots. Your final shot of Braunton was certainly your finest, superb lighting and a cracking head of steam. The Mid Hants is a line I've never visited but it's a must for the future, might try and make the long drive down for the Autumn gala later this year. Thanks for sharing - Regards, Sam
Thanks Sam, it's definitely a line worth visiting, especially if your into Southern traction. The final scene was pretty special and was nice to finish on a high note.
Good set of shots Liam from what looked a good event. Love the glint in the last shot, perfect. I must get round to visiting this line sometime, long haul though from Oop North!
Very enjoyable, thank you! Can you kindly advise which camcorder you used as I am starting to get into video rather than stills and am on a rapid learning curve. Thanks!
I use a Panasonic, and they are also the prominent choice amongst the other publishers who produce steam videos on TH-cam. Thanks for comment and good luck on the filming front. Regards, Liam

Glad my video intrigues you for a return visit.
Looked a great Gala Liam.
Super video. Your shots of the freight workings were excellent. Cheers, Dave.
Cheers Dave, and thanks for watching.

Thanks Austin, it's a railway which is well worth a visit, but travelling down from Liverpool is quite a slog. Very happy with the last shot.
Lovely lighting for the shots of Clan Line at 5:00 and 9:40, and Braunton in the last shot.
Lighting was fantastic and the last scene was my favorite.
To me there is no better sound than a bullied three cylinder charging up a gradient.
