I called them and they were very nice and patiently eager to help a new customer unsure of how to word their question I bought a Tommy Brown #01 recently and I'm thinking about buying the SXB Snyder from them too... The Tommy Brown is not only indestructibly reliable but the gut hook part can draw feather sticks out of anything!!! I mean GUYS! I'm a city slickiN newbie to bushcraft and I love this knife more than my Glock because of the epiphany of it's multifaceted survivability capacities. It even broke my cutting board in the kitchen and I'm very happy about that! haha Albiet it's even proven to be more durable than the Tops SXB, I am considering buying the Snyder from these guys because it seems like the handguard and grind is better for self defense but I'd be willing to bet much that the Tommy can feather stick much much better especially if you don't have certain wood and the proportional size to accommodate the SXB to work with... Also what can I know for sure unless I wielded both... Can anyone answer some questions for me? Is there any benefit to getting the cammo colored knifes? It's um, Micarta? Or .... my jargon may be off.... IAlso I'm m hesitant to get the SXB because I'm unsure the gut hook part and the fine work capabilities won't be as efficient as the Tommy.... Anyone have advice? Furthermore, I apologize to this company because I forgot their name and I would have also tried to buy some tomahawks from them first. I mainly trust the Tommy for Bushcraft more than the SXB because the saw isn't in the way to choke up and make very fine curly sticks but the Snyder can probably kill a dinosaur dull... Thanks Y'all! It looks like if you don’t want to carry it scout style your only option is left handed blade facing the rear? Tops would be better selling their knives and dropping the price to put towards an aftermarket sheath which inevitably needs bought.

I have an original. It doesn't have TOPS on the blade. It does have the Tom Brown logo and model number. F 2527. I got it from my brother for $180 and a throwing knife. @@jonathangarzon2798

The reason these are called fakes is because they are patented and commercialized; the design wasn't actually Tom Brown's. There is a lot of backstory to these knives which is interesting to dive into..
