Rode these buses many times when I first came to Canada (in 2000). So many memories. Loved the open concept of these buses. And you could open the windows to take a peek outside.
What today's kids who ride TTC to school will never know was we used to walk up & down the stairs because all buses were high floor with no wheelchair accessibility & enjoying listening to a pleasing sounding engine as the bus is in motion
@@AlexGetsAroundTO speaking of RTS buses. I never knew the RTS originally came out around 1977-1978 in the United States because TTC if I'm not mistaken introduced the RTS around 1998 which was exactly when I first saw one doing service on 300 Bloor-Danforth
This bus was refurbished in the ttc duncanshop it has no engine and transmission after retirement. The reason why this bus is on the road is because detroit 6v71n and v730 Allison 3 speed auto was from a retired bus number 2345.
