wow ur chinese accent is flawless
chinese speaker here but i cant read it
edit: wow a lot of people relate to me haha
Same. I also can’t write it. Do you speak mandarin, fujianese, or cantanese? Maybe all?
SunshineCookie just mandarin. majority of my family are from beijing except for me cause we moved to canada
wallflowers Ohh. I speak mandarin and a little fujianese. Although, I can understand fujianese perfectly fine. Therefore, I can always listen to the adults. I don’t though, because they talk about boring stuff lol 😂
Relatable lol to the Chinese speaking no read part
Same I can speak mandarin and listen to bits of fujianese but can’t read/write. I know like 100 symbols max
It's so attractive when someone else can speak a language you wouldn't think they could.
Not really. Have higher standards. If it's functional and practically applied to your life/career then ok, not becoming a youtuber making youtube dollars socially experimenting on people who speak the language you studied.
Oh my gosh, finally. You spoke Chinese so fluently. I’m amazed man, even though I prefer to speak English I also speak Chinese because I am born and raised in Hong Kong.
5:18 lmao she was talking shit. Thats why she was really surprised he could speak/ understand Chinese.
Her scene was the best tho. She was so adorable jumping and her high pitch voice lol
She’s saying the phones annoying because she has to type in that AAAA
she was just stuck saying AAA like “well....” in English
@@闲人-u1h Nope she was saying A in repeat because the name of the song starts with A and she's trying to find it
nope she was just tryna find the song and it took her a long time so you know it is awkward so she said the word"too terrible"

Yeah, when I was in university, the lehrer play this song to us and said, " u can learn the German from love story first, although, the one in this song is trashy clachi,!!!" shocking at that moment!
“WHY DO YOU SPEAK CHINESE”
To impress the ladies of course 😉😉
I think what they mean is "this foreigner speaks Chinese so well", which is quite authentic Beijing dialect.
5:50 that girl is soooo sweet.
Your Chinese is good... speaking from a Chinese standpoint. We don’t expect people outside of China/people of non-Chinese descent to speak Chinese that well like a native level.
Linus Lim, English and Asian languages are so different. I've met Chinese and Japanese people who spoke English everyday, but still spoke with an accent or had other difficulties.
on the otherhand, americans would say esp if they dont like what ur sayin, i cant understand u cos youve got thick accent... I dont mean to be racist but im speaking from experience.. again not all, but most of them does
Because there's no reason to. If you are going to take it to that level you better become a citizen there for the rest of your life and find a job you will speak everyday. Otherwise it's really show off to be honest

Xu Andysi
WTF?
Xu Andysi
Max Bobby
Heather Huang
Almost everyone is studying a different language
It's a foreign language school. I was surprised that there was a student majoring in accounting.
@@yishanpu4913 Oh..... thanks for the info...I must've missed it....I get your point now
lol I'm pretty sure the Japanese major at 8:09 was saying "いいえ、いいえ” rather than "Yeah, yeah". It's kind of a reflex to say that in Japanese when someone compliments your proficiency.
superexplosive she’s chinese tho so like they were speaking I. English probably saying yeah yeah
actually no, she’s chinese but ok
@@gamer3d147 Pretty sure in Chinese culture it's custom to be humble as well so it'd make sense for it to be iie iie over yeah yeah.
C K yeah but this dude is saying she’s saying it in Japanese
@@gamer3d147 I am aware. I'm saying in Chinese culture it is a thing to be humble, so the only thing that would make sense here is her saying iie iie, which is japanese for "no no" if taken literally

As a brazilian, I NEED TO KNOW WHY DID SHE WANT TO LEARN PORTUGUESE AAA

This puts me at ease because later on I will go to university in China and tbh there are doubts that I won't be able to speak anything at all with the mainlands.
Before you leave make sure you get NordVPN though

Well, these are college students. The average Chinese person won't be able to converse in English. Make sure you always take a business card of the hotel or location you are staying, to show taxi drivers, as well as saving ig on your phone. Also, those VPN things get shut down quick. I heard. lol
GuitarGuy He just need Google translate
It’s quite unsettling how scared all these people are about talking with a stranger or information about them getting out.

I know this is about how well they speak English but I stayed for the reactions when they found out he spoke Chinese, lol.
WOW SO IMPRESSED! not really...

Terry Zhao
