Very informative again Andrew! Have you considered doing a video on your storage and van layout? I'd love to see that! Just like your gel storage video, loved that one.

Your the 5th person to ask.
I want to organise that episode with other gaffers so people can see a variety of solutions for different size markets.
Some guys have amazing fold away shells in their vans

Hi Andrew! Wonderful channel you have, showing in detail some gear I don't necessarily have time or interest in trying out, sometimes there are nice surprises!
However, I'm wondering if you've had the opportunity to try out the Gaffers Control made by Spots? I see it being used more and more and it looks really great, however none of the gaffers I've talked to who use it have used the Exalux Control One, so I haven't been able to find some direct comparisons.
Also, what do you think about a device like a dedicated controller like Gaffers Control or Exalux compared to an iPad running Luminair? That would be great if you had any insight in this!
Thank you very much for all the time and effort you make running this channel, great job!

I haven't seen one, bit it's definitely the more popular of the two. I know three gaffers that have it, one absolutely loves it, and it's his Goto piece of kit, and the other two haven't quite got their heads around using it and only pull it out if they have too.
It's ultimate DMX modes give it definitely more options with the fixtures, but it is limited to (I think) 14 fixtures. I'm now finding as more gear has DMX that I am sometimes operating around 16 to 20 fixtures.

I have used the Gaffers Control a few times and it's nice, but i think i would like the Exaluxes interface more. I would miss the knob layout of the gaffera control, but the Exalux just seems much more straight forward and useful. If i buy the Exalux i'll probably build a little casing for it like the Gaffers control though.
