- The Queen of England's Racing Pigeon Loft manager, Carlo Napolitano, passed away in May of 2011. Carlo was a good friend of so many of the pigeon fancier's featured in our films and helped us make this story. It helps to show the fine job Carlo did on behalf of the Royal Family and the extent that the pigeon hobby is woven into English culture. It is one of 20 chapters in "Share the Blue Sky" and we hope it shows what a fine person and great fancier Carlo was. r.i.p Carlo Napolitano. I saw you on the Pigeon fanciers world series dvd and you were very pro with the birds. I am so glad to still be racing pigeons to this day even though I am 28 and I started at 15 with the help of some friends. such a great sport, best sport on this earth.
