Lossless is a very good initiative by Apple. But still physical CDs and DVD (or blue ray) must be there in market, it's very unfortunate that those things have disappeared, many of today's listeners doesn't even know what good quality (both in terms of listening experience and art) music is. CDs and stereo setup can beat anything
Cds and DVDs also uses lossless/flac there no difference and point of using dvd or cd in this era ...do you really think what they store in cd,dvd can't be store in other storage device? Maybe u aren't aware of where to buy lossless music... Only hardcore fans buy original cds for collection (not cheap copy around 500 inr)

Some newly arrived phones like Mi 11x series, Asus Zenfone 8 series has HiFi resolution audio inbuilt. In that case, DACs are not needed and a pair of good sounding IEMs are fine. Phones without a dedicated HiFi support should definitely need DACs for true quality audio experience.

Attention!: One can also use KZ EDX for less than HALF THE PRICE of KZ ZSN comming at Rs.899 and Rs999 at Amazon at headphone zone and enjoy the hi-res music... Although the difference may not be as distinct as KZ ZSN but it definately gets better with source and the sound is also very similar (about 80%) to KZ ZSN.... If you can, then go for KZ ZSN (as they have 2 greatly tuned drivers instead of 1 in EDX) but if you aren't able to but want to enter the audiophile realm of musics.... KZ EDX is a very solid choice.. and yeah even better than the highly acclaimed and popular Sennheiser CX 180 at its price range, it simply has more detail and organic-quality to the sound produced.... But that isn't to say that Sennheiser s are bad... For enjoying they are really good... I personally have all three so sharing my experience if it helps

Sound acoustics Raven, the best earphones with 6 drivers. Combine them with same make DAC. And you are ready enjoy every bit of CD quality. However I found it more powerful with laptop. Set up will cost 4k in total. And yes, this manufacturer sales lightning DAC for apple.
I just purchased a lightning to headphone jack dongle for my Bose headphones and downloaded a few lossless music files. I cannot tell the difference between my original music files and the higher quality files on Apple Music. I’m not gonna spend anymore time erasing my old downloads and getting those lossless files.

#For iPhone - we can use Apple Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack cabe and to iem… ( Note : Apple DAC supports lossless not high resolution)

the issue is Apple lighting adapter which isn’t support hi res. You can hear lossless with XM4 but not Spatial audio
