@themightyalpaca313 Silent Hill has a very Lynchian theme throughout and I've always thought that a lot of Lynch films have a similar feel to them, in terms of acting I've always likened it to people with schizophrenia trying to create a realistic scene. But, their illness tells them that something more is going on
@@SamuelBlack84 Hmmm, I can see that. But I was thinking more from the perspective of a person compartmentalising in order to do something; daughter’s missing, strange place, monsters… can’t panic, gotta find my daughter.
Me who's played this a thousand times since it came out in 1999: "Ah, I know every inch of this game!" Me never knowing you could go into the gas station: 👁👄👁
There should be a gas can on replay. you can use it for the chainsaw and the rock drill for weapons. You have to do certain things or do well enough to unlock the items. It will show you after you beat the game.
If you do play again and go for the gas can, as far as choosing between the chainsaw and rock drill goes, they are both powerful and here's the main difference. The rock drill does more damage but you can't move while you're attacking with it. You can move (slowly) while you're attacking with the chainsaw and it still does decent damage but not quite as much (also a slightly reduced range when compared). Rock drill's in the bridge control tower (lower room), chainsaw's in a chainsaw shop at one of the nearby road dead-ends (before you cross the bridge, not after). The rock drill is awesome against enemies that move toward you in a straight line. Also, while you can't go backwards or forwards while attacking with it, you can still turn around on the spot. It's brilliant against hospital staff - completely locks out their attack range and they can't really do anything against you so long as you just stand there and grind their guts up! But the chainsaw is a better all-rounder for enemies that have more complicated movements (like how dogs can back away, or how the pterodactyls try to come at you from different angles). I prefer the rock drill but only in an aesthetic sense (it makes a lovely horrible noise). The chainsaw's the slightly better strategic pick in terms of going through the rest of the game. But, if you complete it another time after choosing one of those weapons, the next time around it won't need any gas, but the game still gives you the gas canister to use on the other one, so you can have both. They're both really decent so it's not much of an advantage getting to choose between them, but it is nice. Additionally, the gas never runs out (it's single-use and then you have the chosen weapon forever). Those are the weapons that are unlocked no matter how good or bad you do in the game. Various different colours of "hyper blaster" (unlimited ammo laser pistol) can be unlocked as well, but they are dependant on what star rating you got. They range from absolutely rubbish to absolutely game-breaking. But I tend to ignore them. They don't aim properly at the smaller enemies, and tend to grave over the tops of their heads (I doubt this was intentional, I think it's just a bug). When unlocked, they do appear at a much earlier point in the game than the other bonus weapons though. Just don't necessarily rely on them unless you look up which colour you got and find out it's one of the better ones. There's also a katana. First time you go through the dog house, there's a locked room and there isn't a key for it. I've never found the katana in the first game myself but I do know it's there (from watching other people get it). If you unlocked it, that door will be open. Not sure how good it is as a weapon, but I imagine it must be very good. The final unlocked item (unlocked regardless of your rank) is the "channeling stone", which is not to do with combat. It's the item that when used in several prominent outdoor areas in the game, gets you the UFO ending. There's no harm to trying to use it, so whenever you think this might be an area a UFO might see me from, give it a try. If you get all of them, you get the UFO ending. I can't remember where the stone or the blasters are found. I never used them, but I did see others do so.
I've always prefered the horror stories where the protagonist is actually a terrible person living in the hell they created and the audience figures that out over the progress of the story.
I remeber vividly the shiver that ran down my spine when, after I checked all the floors with the elevator of the hospital, I saw the button for a fourth floor that wasn't there before... this game is so good at scaring you!
@@metamajdi6358 I've always wondered. Dr. Kaufman. White Claudia and the order probably had something to do with it. Lisa was suffering from PTV withdrawal, hence the hemorrhaging blood. That could've been the cause. It is also said that she was murdered by Kaufman too. Lots of theories, I'm not entirely sure.
I heard she was already dead by the time Harry "met" her the first time. She apparently came back for Dr.Kaufman and dragged him down with her for what he did, in one the endings.
@@nolanblue1616 The story goes she was disgusted and mentally worn out of tending Alessa and doing all sorts of bad things for the cult but also was hooked on PTV which is a heavy dopamine halucinogenic drug from a main source plant named White Claudia. Only available through Kaufman. She wanted to leave and was treatning Kaufman that she will sue etc. Eventually she had a breakdown and a heavy argument making a scene so Kaufman killed her to shut her up. She is here in a form of limbo (which the entire town actually is in through the game so as all of the characters) where she could to get her revenge if the events are right. Which can happen in one of the endings where she all bloody comes back and drags Kaufman away pretty much into his death. The argument between Kaufman suppose to be a sort of flashback event and in much more detail in the game but was cut. However the CGI scene remained in the intro. So you can through the game story pretty much exactly make out what happened. It's much more interesting like this and that extra work would just spoil everything further. It's much more exciting when you piece together the things instead of everything just being served on a plate. But I just remembered now this was actually also noted in the novel so it's all story canon.
What I like to do as far as diet goes, is pick a bunch of my favorite veggies and then chop, toss them all in a big pan with some olive oil, ground pepper, and a little garlic. Cook for about ten minutes on low-medium heat, then serve it with brown rice. It's easy to make a lot of it, so you can just replace a meal every day with a big bowl of leftover veggies and rice. If you want protine, you can sear a chicken breast, chop it up, and throw it in there, too.
32:14 I love how Gab freaks the f*ck out but then literally in the same breath goes back to talking in her normal chill voice like nothing even happened.
I love that you’re sharing these games with people who’ve never had the chance to see them before. This series is so dear to me and I’ve always enjoyed watching you play it. The hospital is one of my favourite areas because of the secrets it holds, also one of the spookiest areas.
I so greatly appreciate your willingness to bring old but phenomenal games back into the spotlight even among the hustle and bustle for the "next new thing" in gaming. It's why your channel will always be one of my let's play favorites! It's so wonderful to see not all people have forgotten where we came from in digital entertainment, and you can so easily tell in your videos of classic games that you hold a wide appreciation for them. Thank you for that.
I remember this game when it came out I was 7 years old and I used to play it with my brother , one day my brother had nightmares after watching me playing it so he woke up and broke the CD into 2 halves I never finished it till I was much older. thanks gab for bringing us such heartwarming memories by playing this game.
You reminded me of when my older brother played rule of rose in front of me when I was a little kid, and I was so terrified of going to sleep alone or going to the bathroom thst my father broke the cd. My brother still remembers and blames me for what happened.
That scary music in the hospital that sounds like metal clanging is pretty clever. There's a subtle melody in the overtones of the metal clanging noises that sounds like the kind of melody that little kids used to taunt each other with when I was small. That "nah nah nah nah boo-boo!" kind of melody. It sounds like **someone** is taunting and making fun of all the cursed undead staff in the building. Most of the monsters in the town seem to be animals or people that got messed up, but the doctors are undead and stuck in perpetual pain - forever pinned between the precipice of life and death. *Just like SHE was for YEARS.* Might just be my interpretation of the music, but it's a neat detail.
I grew up playing this game with my siblings, and watching you play it again brings back so many memories of when I was younger and even watching you play this for the first time yeaaaaars ago! Thanks for always being there to hang out with Gab. Love your videos
If you're looking for easy, healthy cooking recipes, a good place to start is searching for cookbooks that are based around using 4-5 ingredients per recipe. I have one that is for four ingredients and all the food I've made from it has been really tasty and healthy.
I agree! There's an Australian series of cookbooks called "4 Ingredients". There is a gluten free version, veggie and vegan version, healthy eating version etc. They have digital versions too! They're really popular and the recipes are often flexible to change how you want~
You can watch the tape later when you end up in "Nowhere", the school and hospital combined with extra rooms and it's pretty much a video diary of Lisa
I lost my copies of Silent Hill 1, 2 and 3 during a house move and have always lamented the fact that I can no longer play them (can't get them digitally in Australia and the disks cost too much to buy online now). But honestly, this is the next best thing and I am so happy that you are committed to playing these older games because they are just as amazing now as they were back then 💗
Thanks for revisiting this classic. I bought a PSX in ‘99 just to play this game because I saw a friend play it and I couldn’t believe a game could be so intensely thrilling and mature. I really wish the original team would do a new one but I think those days are over. Such a visionary game and truly an artistic breakthrough back in the day.
The theme of the Balkan Church is one of my favourite Silent Hill themes - its very nostalgic. I remember after getting through that particularly scary school bit it always seemed so calming and also very mysterious. I also always like the pure sinisterness of Kaufmanns theme.
I was only 9 when this game came out and remember watching my brother playing it, I was terrified but loved it at the same time. The characters fascinated me! I love being able to watch you play through it all again :)
I've seen the movies and SH4 was my intro to the series, but I never actually saw the first game before! I'm happy to get to experience it on your channel. Fatal Frame is also a favorite of mine. I tried to play it once and a stationary ghost scared the crap out of me and I couldn't do it anymore, but I love watching other people play. It has the exact vibe of horror that I crave. SH is a close second for vibe!
As someone whose mom got the game for her soon after it was released because it "looked scary," yes, I can confirm playing it then (even despite being a kid) made me into a superfan. It's basically my life. My favorite thing ever. 😍🥰
Silent hill was my introduction to the survival horror franchise as a kid, so i am loving the walk down memory lane of watching you play! As for food, there's a book called A Pinch of Nom which is all about healthy, low maintenance meals; it's been a great help for my ASD butt to pull me away from snacks and ready meals; i totally recommend checking it out.
I first got a hold of a demo disc back in the days, i belive it ended after the piano puzzle, played that over and over, then the game finally came out and i somehow got a hold of a bootleg copy of the uncensored US version, absolutely loved its but..it also scared the hell out of me, even had nightmares about the little hoodie children with knifes in the school, Best horror game ever made imo..aw man im getting goosebump just from watching this
Best cook book would be Greg Doucette's Anabolic cook book, high protein, low calories, an example would be a vid of his "Greg Doucette life hack meal sizes".
Great channel. I finished Silent Hill with my old school friend Kev, back in 1999. I was too scared to play it alone. I recently completed Silent Hil 2 for the first time, without Kev, and it messed with my mind for weeks after. Something different about these games. Peace and Love everyone x
Me and my younger sister used to play this on the PS1 whenever our parents went somewhere! It was way too scary and we never got past the piano puzzle. 🤣 The memories of being scared together, discussing where to go next and screaming at the monsters at the screen will always make this game special to me! ❤️ Super bedankt dat je dit spel deelt met ons want het brengt mooie herinneringen terug en nu kan ik eindelijk zien hoe het verhaal verder gaat! 😊❤️
If you’d like a good cook book for healthy recipes that are easy, the green roasting tin book is really good, I’m not the best cook but I find these recipes great, you just put everything in the tin and leave it in the oven, they also do meat and fish versions as well, I hope that helps loving the videos xxx
I just finished playing this game with a friend- you looking up what to do to get the good ending reminded me of when I searched through guides to instruct my friend on what to do- it was a lot of fun! This game is such a great time. Thank you for plaything through it!
Oo I was one of those kids who played this on a Playstation for the first time and I think it just solidified me as a horror game fan for life! We (my sisters and friends and I) would have slumber parties where one of us played a Silent Hill, Fatal Frame or Resident Evil with the lights down and everyone would just watch, like a movie. It seriously is one of my favorite memories! Love watching you play because it just brings me RIGHT back there! :)
I started watching these videos because of the Twilight Princess play through, and I was like "hey this is awesome, I love Zelda!" And then in this video you expressed the importance of showing older games as often as new games because it's good for everyone to experience the old stuff. That's when I knew I was a fan of the channel.
yay! more silent hill! this game is so good so far also, your comment about cooking and working out-I struggle with getting the right and enough food, so I always make sure to have meals with tons of protein, like having eggs and/or chicken after I workout, and always a protein shake or two during the day (dinner is always a toss-up but eh) - I'm not an expert on this sort of thing, but I def understand!
I really love that you've been playing through all Silent Hill games, I had heard about the franchise before but didn't know much about it, and since you played Silent Hill 4 last year I've really fell in love with the whole aesthetic and mood of these games and now I love them, so thank you so much for playing them and also showing all the love you have for them as well. And honestly I would love if you keep replaying classic old school horror games (you mentioned Fatal Frame *wink* *wink*)
Much appreciation for showing love to beloved classic such as silent hill or old hidden gems games and indie not just new games, love to see it. THANK you
Love this game! Still got it on the ps1 disc, even with no ps1 or ps2 I'll never get rid of it! Still got me old horror and favourite games on those discs aswell! I remember walking past a house with the window open and knew they were playing silent hill by the fantastic music!
This was the first game I ever bought for the PlayStation. Needless to say, it holds a very special place in my gamer heart. Thanks for replaying this gem, it takes me back. I'm really enjoying the playthrough so far!
This game really deserves a faithful remake! And btw, I am enjoying this playthrough more than your previous one, because now you leave your flashlight on in the dark areas :)
Omg with the sounds in the basement.. i didn't remember how atmospheric is this game i remember a lot but now that I'm watching your video i don't know if its my age... or what but seems creepier thank u so much Gabs for this awesome memory 💜 i was a little jealous too of those who had playstation back then when it came out but thankfully eventually, i was fortunate to play this masterpiece eventually, thank u for your work, love from Mexico 🇲🇽
I was a teenager back then. Resident Evil and Silent Hill were my introductions to horror games, and Silent Hill was on a whole different level when it came to that aspect. It's not just that the games made an impact because they were great, but they were expensive. I got games for my birthdays and Christmas, and a few times when I managed to save up money. That meant we played the games over and over and over. On top of that, I was a European (PAL) gamer who liked RPGs, point and clicks and horror, so the selection of games was terrible. Suikoden, Final Fantasy 7 and 8, Broken Sword and Discworl poin and clicks, as well as Resident Evil 1 and 2, Silent Hill 1 and 2 and Alone in the Dark: the new Nightmare will always mean a lot to me. The Fatal Frame games as well, even though they were a bit later on.
Crock pot( slow cooker) meals are LIFE savers!! You can also make extra for meal preping! It makes it so much easier! Steamable veggies in the freezer section ( you steam them in a bag) toatl time savers!
Silent Hill wasn't my first introduction to horror games; but it was the first one that stuck with me the most. The music! The atmosphere! The creepy lore! All of it was nothing I had ever seen before in a video game. I still listen to soundtracks to this day because they are just so cozy and nice even if it is made to make you feel sad. I remember getting the bad ending when I first played this game and I was so upset lol. If only guides were as easily available as they are now for games! The hospital scared the crap out of me when I first saw them. Those nurses were so creepy. I agree with you in that they are the scariest version. I still see those weird little pods on their backs in my nightmares. I have seen and play this game no less than a hundred times and it still feels like the first time in some ways. Excited for the next episode!
Because I love this game so much I'm trying to pace myself and slowly enjoy it. Great series so far. Thanks for re-visiting this classic for us! Also, happy Saturday everyone! 💜🎶
Burritos. Low fat beef/chicken/turkey, canned black beans, no salt added, and a cup of rice (Not instant). Takes 20 or 30 minutes to make a couple days worth of good and p good for you food. I mix mine with different things. Salsa and hotsauce. Or sriracha ranch. Or turn it into a chip dip. I either eat it as burrito bowls or with high fiber, low carb tortillas, since rice are carbs.
Your first playthrough of this game is what got me into the series. now I've played the first 4 games for myself and they all hold so much importance to me. So happy to see you revisiting this classic :')
Hi Gab, regarding 'healthy eating', I find focusing on adding in nutrition as being a really kind way to look after your health, rather than focusing on taking things out. So, e.g. I love homemade carbonara and I lovvvvve to add in spiralized courgette! I love to add spinach into beige savoury meals too, and avocado. Starting with one new recipe a week is also more realistic than a total diet overhaul - change is hard so help yourself out :) I also don't think meals have to be particularly 'put together'. Often I just think "Okay, I know I need some protein, carbs and veggies...what do I fancy?" and cobble something together. Hope this helps!
I'm not a nutritionist, but when I was in the Army, for dinner I would eat spaghetti the night before the PT Test (2 mile run, sit-ups, and push-ups). Carbs are good for high-aerobics/ cardio. I would suggest asking your primary care doctor to talk to a nutritionist, or maybe even a physical therapist, because they would specialist in not only how the body moves, but what meal plan would be best for the type of work-out plan you want. Or even look into a personal trainer at a gym.
It is so cool to see the Queen of Horror play my favorite game series ever. Great for curling up on a rainy day with a mug of tea and a bowl of popcorn, just chill in with my cats watching horror video games. So cozy.
Lmao: 7:26 , I’ve known about silent hill since i was 7 and finished the game on my own at age 10. Can confirm that it makes you obsessed and a superfan for life lol
There are so many good cookbooks (healthy) and easy...out there. One of my fave, "Healthy Cookbook for Two" or try "5-Ingredient Clean-Eating Cookbook: Over 50 Easy Few-Ingredients Recipes for Fast and Healthy Cooking. Part 3. Cooking time - from 5 minutes (21-Day Clean-Eating Meal Plan)." ETA: Or you can also do one of those home delivery cooking services (Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, Freshly, etc etc--preferably local to your area, you can choose what type of meal/diet you're on generally and they send you all the ingredients already, you just need to cook them).
I was 7 when this game came out. We had a PSX at home, I was playing games like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot on it and my brother played Silent Hill, I saw him playing once for a moment but he said I can't watch this game and kicked me out of the room. But those few moments of watching got me, that atmosphere... so once when nobody was home I turned it on, I got into this moment at the beginning when "big bird" ;) flew through a window to a cafeteria and I didn't know how to shoot it and I got SO SCARED I couldn't play any horror games until recently :D You said "I would be such a huge fan of Silent Hill" and I was like WHAT hahah can't imagine 10 year old me playing this. Thank you for playing it, now I can finally see what's going on after the cafeteria :D ^_^
Thank you Gab for this new video. The hospital part is very creepy. But I really like the scary sounds from this area. Great gameplay again from you Gab. Thumbs up.
Bruh ... why did this have to get uploaded while I was at work 😭😭 just got home at 5 A.M. and I have never been this anxious to watch this haha absolutely love, love, love Silent Hill 1. Hopefully you can do Silent Hill 2 after this playthrough, one day 💗
My only recommendation so far is to use Shirataki noodles/Rice instead of regular pasta or rice Low carb, very low calorie and doesn't taste bad at all!
Very late but, for the nutritious meals thing: pre-workout smoothies are awesome! You can add supplements to them, including extra protein powder, calcium, vitamins, etc. I like to put a few drops of ginseng in mine for a little energy boost. It fills you up without making you feel heavy or sluggish. I use greek yogurt, coconut milk or coconut water, and a banana as the thickener, then I put my favourite berries in (usually it’s cherries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and cranberries - all of which can be purchased frozen when out of season), avocado chunks (I use frozen ones because it’s less prep), a teaspoon of local bee pollen (which helps with my seasonal allergies!), chia seeds, and ice, of course. They are great because you can make big batches (without the coconut milk) and freeze them in an ice cube tray and then just throw them in the blender with your milk on your way to the gym! There are a million and one combinations, so you never get bored of them, they are super healthy, and surprisingly filling. Also, it doesn’t have to be just berries of course. Apricots, peaches, plums, star fruit, anything you want! (Recently, I tried a Granny Smith apple and lime one that I saw on Pinterest... it tasted like summertime!)
I never played Silent hill 1 because I didn't have it on PS1. The first Silent Hill game I played was Silent hill 2 and that was before I could speak at least little English and I still loved that game. It's been my favorite series ever since.
Hi Gab, I use the centr app. Tasty meals done in a weekly day by day food plan, easy to cook and customise when you know you’ll be out (when we can!) or get take out. You can specify what type or meals you like, and what kind of diet you want.
Just got done binging your Metroid Prime series. Would love to see you play Metroid Fusion, or Metroid Zero Mission. Loving the horror mystery games lately too!
I know its an old video but for the question she asked about recipes. She wont be interested anymore but if someone accidentally falls on this comment and is thinking of eating a little healthier this could hopefully help. Basically replace all yogurt with skyr and eat more eggs. More chicken less pork and beef except very lean beef. Turkey is good meat too. There are nore complex recipe channels on youtube nowadays that make low calorie high protein recipes. But I make a crunch wrap with a tortilla airfryed pre-breaded chicken filets a tomato and a skyr light mayo garlic powder and nutmeg powder. I usually do 200g skyr 30g or 50g mayo and then salt and the other spices by taste. I love eating it. I make a cucumber skyr salad too. Poached or scrambled eggs. I sometimes make a breakfast roll with scrambled eggs american chese and snoked turkey. Its very tasty too. Or a smash burger with 90% beef patty american cheese tomato, iceberg lettuce, pickles and store-bought buns. Found a burger sauce recipe on youtube shorts and it works great too. Dont overdo sauce cause they are hidden calories.
Forgot to say THE easiest way to make anplan is using chatgpt. Tell it calories and protein goals and work with it tocfigure what you eat or dont eat. Its very american diet centralized so you'd have to specifily which cuisine you want if you are not american and you can just think of a meal and say "add it to one of the days and fit it with the calorie and protein goals" I made a weekly plan that way 150g protein 1500 cal every day.
In regards to the healthy eating quick meals question. There is a book called ‘Take 5’ that’s by Slimming World. All recipes have only 5 ingredients and they are all super tasty 🙂😋 there are so many meals to chose from 🙂💗 I’ve never been part of Slimming World but a friend recommended it to me once and it’s been a game changer 🙂💗 xx
You probably won't see this for the food stuff but, I use a sous vide to cook either frozen or fresh chicken that's seasoned in the bag while cooking for 2 to 3 hours.. time depends on if it's frozen ect.. After it's cooked all you have to do is throw away the zip lock bag. When it's cooked I brown it slightly in a frying pan with healthy oil (whatever oil you pick). You can chop it up and put in a salad with egg or whatever's your favorite or make a sandwich with wheat bread ect (prefer eating with oatmeal and veggies though). I recommend sticking with chicken and you can use hamburger meat also in sous vide just make sure you squeeze out the oil after it's cooked (I microwave for 1 min to get it hot and use napkins to extract oils) Goodluck and don't over do it.. that can back fire on you
8:00 I love the music in this scene with Dahlia, the whole setting is really good. If you dive into what she is actually saying and search up on what Gyromancy is though you'll realise how mental Dahlia actually is haha.
Coach Greg's anabolic cookbook (either 1 or 2) is a little pricy, but it's full of nutritious and pretty delicious recipes. It has suggestions for low calorie options, and the macros are also shown, so if you follow the recipes they follow a very balanced diet and usually high in protein.
I am not into workouts but, sunflowerseeds, most seeds in general and nuts contain a lot of protein and are healthy. It makes at least a good Snack. and about cooking, a lot of time vegan meals have a lot protein, depending on the dish of course. Some plants have naturally a lot of protein, often much more than meat, ( at least compare to cheap meat ) like beans and stuff. and there are lot of easy recipes online. It's not a full plan but maybe a good and easy start.
I played this with my flatmate when I was at uni in 2001 on PS1. My flatmate and I were so freaked out we stayed up all night lol. Brilliant game and series!
I played this originally on the PS1 when it came out when I was 10-11 years and it absolutely has stuck with me as my favourite. Rule of Rose I wish could get a remake or re-release or something, it was great. Fatal Frame will always be THE horror series that scares the hell out of me, and I love them to pieces. I wish they'd re-release them for the Switch or something
Gab I am one of the people that played this when it first came out also played the first three resident evils dino crisis 1 & 2 parasite eve 1&2 now I'm sitting here watching u play it love the fact u play the classics 🤗🥰
I like how the main character sounds like they just picked a random guy of the streets and asked him to read some lines from a paper
Maybe they did

Me never knowing you could go into the gas station: 👁👄👁
That how i feel about Skyrim until someone go in a cave I didn't know even exist lol.
Same, I played this game multiple time and I was like "Wait you can enter the school bus??" lol
There should be a gas can on replay. you can use it for the chainsaw and the rock drill for weapons. You have to do certain things or do well enough to unlock the items. It will show you after you beat the game.
I knew nothing about the drugs or all the stuff in the south side of town..
What is it with Fathers going through the worst to save their daughters in horror games lol
Or they have dead wives, always lol.
haha yeah family stories are always relatable and makes the protagonist likable
@@elliea595 Heck yeah!
I've always prefered the horror stories where the protagonist is actually a terrible person living in the hell they created and the audience figures that out over the progress of the story.
@@qylark Sounds like the game The last of us, lol
I remeber vividly the shiver that ran down my spine when, after I checked all the floors with the elevator of the hospital, I saw the button for a fourth floor that wasn't there before... this game is so good at scaring you!
Lisa's story hit me the most. It was sad and then horrifying to understand what happened to her. Her facing the truth scared me the most in the game.
Why she die again?
@@metamajdi6358 I've always wondered. Dr. Kaufman. White Claudia and the order probably had something to do with it. Lisa was suffering from PTV withdrawal, hence the hemorrhaging blood. That could've been the cause. It is also said that she was murdered by Kaufman too. Lots of theories, I'm not entirely sure.
Same here my friend. I shall never forget poor Lisa...
Just got through pt1, omg I can see why people love it so much! That atmosphere! I'm hooked now, so excited to see what happens next!
I'm glad she is doing these SH videos, people will see and maybe try these classics!! :D
Dahlia: "I see everything!"
Harry: "Oh, crap! Sorry..." *zips up his pants back up*
Why did I die from this? x'D
You made me laugh so loud XD
I couldn't have put it better myself!
The BB face on the pause screen 😆 His tail has a life of its own, all sassy as he walks into the room 🥰 I love it!
28:11 Akira Yamaoka must’ve pulled that generator sound straight out the bowels of hell itself. That is unbelievable sound design 💯👌
I knew this game and other horror games because of Ms. Evelien. It's a honour for me 🤗, I watched her old gameplays too 💛
I grew up playing this game with my siblings, and watching you play it again brings back so many memories of when I was younger and even watching you play this for the first time yeaaaaars ago! Thanks for always being there to hang out with Gab. Love your videos
15:00 the monster popping out of existence got me. And the cute little sfx, i'm dying. 😂
I forgot how amazing the music is in this game. The hospital sounds so ominous and terrifying!
i love that this game has such beautiful cut scenes at times for such an old game
If you're looking for easy, healthy cooking recipes, a good place to start is searching for cookbooks that are based around using 4-5 ingredients per recipe. I have one that is for four ingredients and all the food I've made from it has been really tasty and healthy.
what's the name if the cookbook you have?
Brings me back to playing the first four Tomb Raider’s ❤
1:04:00 Harry running around with that comically large hammer made me laugh :')
That Hammer is one of my favorite weapons in the game. Helps you conserve ammo.
That brief moment of relief after you finish an area, like waking from a nightmare, to slowly realise you're still asleep.
It's so old but it still catches me everytime with his atmosphere and the whole mystery. I just love this game. And I know i'll love ur playthrough.
I love the sound design in this game ! Those droning noises are so stressful, they work perfectly with the overall atmosphere !
I was only 9 when this game came out and remember watching my brother playing it, I was terrified but loved it at the same time. The characters fascinated me! I love being able to watch you play through it all again :)
It's so lovely to discover this series with you ! I really love watching your playthroughs
Nice to finally know what you mean when you say “oh this is so silent hill!” When you play other horror games haha
I somehow already forgot you were doing this series even though I immediately watched the first episode and I was SO HAPPY to see this pop up 😭💜
As someone whose mom got the game for her soon after it was released because it "looked scary," yes, I can confirm playing it then (even despite being a kid) made me into a superfan. It's basically my life. My favorite thing ever. 😍🥰
For me, playing it was like coming home. It was like discovering a whole new world
Silent hill was my introduction to the survival horror franchise as a kid, so i am loving the walk down memory lane of watching you play!
As for food, there's a book called A Pinch of Nom which is all about healthy, low maintenance meals; it's been a great help for my ASD butt to pull me away from snacks and ready meals; i totally recommend checking it out.
My introduction to Resident Evil was when my best friend in high school showed me the very first one. The moans of the zombies terrified me
I first got a hold of a demo disc back in the days, i belive it ended after the piano puzzle, played that over and over, then the game finally came out and i somehow got a hold of a bootleg copy of the uncensored US version, absolutely loved its but..it also scared the hell out of me, even had nightmares about the little hoodie children with knifes in the school, Best horror game ever made imo..aw man im getting goosebump just from watching this
I am loving this so far. I am too much of a weenie to play horror games myself so I love living vicariously through you!
Silent Hill has such a unique twisted beauty to it
Me and my younger sister used to play this on the PS1 whenever our parents went somewhere! It was way too scary and we never got past the piano puzzle. 🤣 The memories of being scared together, discussing where to go next and screaming at the monsters at the screen will always make this game special to me! ❤️
Super bedankt dat je dit spel deelt met ons want het brengt mooie herinneringen terug en nu kan ik eindelijk zien hoe het verhaal verder gaat! 😊❤️
If you’d like a good cook book for healthy recipes that are easy, the green roasting tin book is really good, I’m not the best cook but I find these recipes great, you just put everything in the tin and leave it in the oven, they also do meat and fish versions as well, I hope that helps loving the videos xxx
i think ill check that out too, thanks for the recommendation (:
That's when I knew I was a fan of the channel.
yay! more silent hill! this game is so good so far
also, your comment about cooking and working out-I struggle with getting the right and enough food, so I always make sure to have meals with tons of protein, like having eggs and/or chicken after I workout, and always a protein shake or two during the day (dinner is always a toss-up but eh) - I'm not an expert on this sort of thing, but I def understand!
THANK you
38:18 The room that made me elbow my dad when he looked over my shoulder in the dark. Good jump-scare. Master class.
This takes me back to my high school days, thank you for the memories.
You can always count on Gab for instant Big Boss action!! Such a cute cat 🐈 😻
Thank you so much for continuing this series. Very entertaining! I look forward to the future installments.
Omg the atmosphere of this game I was literally jumping with you the whole time those parasite nurses are just...NOPE 😳
Awww heck yess I'm always happy to go back to Silent Hill.
YES OMG IF YOU PLAY FATAL FRAME I’D BE OVER THE MOON
Loving this, I've never seen it before! Plus i lived for your reactions on ressy 8!
It is so cool to see the Queen of Horror play my favorite game series ever. Great for curling up on a rainy day with a mug of tea and a bowl of popcorn, just chill in with my cats watching horror video games. So cozy.
Every Gab's Silent Hill series is my comfort series :)
Your voice is so calming so whatever you do I will watch it it’s so entertaining and calming👉🏼👈🏼💖
Hopefully you can do Silent Hill 2 after this playthrough, one day 💗
She has done 2,3 & 4. Search them up on her channel :)
The music and overall atmosphere are so fantastic!
My only recommendation so far is to use Shirataki noodles/Rice instead of regular pasta or rice
Low carb, very low calorie and doesn't taste bad at all!
I remember renting this game from Blockbuster Video. I would have been 13 years old.
Recipes book tip: Sonja Bakker. It’s healthy, easy and takes about 30 minutes to make max. It’s in Dutch
My gym trainer recommended stuffed rice balls as a good snack. I use the seasoned tuna and chicken pouches for the filling.
@ 27:00 you could always order Hello Fresh (food theory often has coupons) they deliver the unmade meals to you and give the recipe. Super easy!
34:10 Hooray! It's the BB-cam!
you got me with that doctor jump scare I almost choked on my meds
Tofu Scrambles are high in protein and you can add a slice of Turkey bacon for extra flavor with very low fat
Never played silent hill but are enjoying this play through
