3:58 trails like those are great for technical riding tho. they sacrifice speed for technicality, great if thats what your after, but not so great if its not what you expect and there arent any other choices there. just got MTBs for my kids and I will be using your videos to teach them how to ride better. teaching kara to trackstand was an awesome idea i would never have thought of, even tho ive been a rider all my life and even worked as a professional rider (bike courier) for most of my working life. cheers for the ideas, hoping my kids pick it up as quick as kara did. she is doing awesome, good job!
Super impressed with Kara on some of those berms, but the best part was your ability to not run her over and following so close. I have ridden in 100 man pelotons many times, and from my perspective your skills are super tight and honed to a razors edge. Stay awesome! Can’t wait for t shirt merch!!

@@computerbob06 I was just about to say that, my Mrs likes hicks lodge not top far from cannock and she loved the new blue trails (perry's trail) so I reckon I can get her on a few red runs next.
@@louisnaum7722 I hired eebs for me and the woman once, it wasn't anything like cannock it was just more like leisure style around a lake, but we went off into some woods that had a tiny trail loop thing, nothing difficult although maybe a few sharp turns, it was literally 2 minutes in before she'd crashed and was under a tree with various branches poking into her, crying her eyes out, I rushed over to see if she was ok and fortunately she was fine!!, the ebike I mean, then I helped my gf up and told her to be more careful with the thing! :D I'm only joking about the last bit everyone be nice to your partners

Just a small thing Tom, could you overlay the name of each trail you do? It helps us newbies work out where to go first when we get to a trail centre. Love the videos.
Cannock is like a big loop so they are all on the same trail. Unless you go to stile cop or off piste, to unsanctioned trails, which is where all the hard stuff is.

So when I think of a trail, I never think of the uphill, on the dh. I'll rephrase tho bc you're right tbh, it's got no hard stuff on the downhills unless you go to stile cop or off-piste.

These track are more for tourists and only built by volunteers but there loads mor tracks around that area and even a downhill course that’s way more fun

7:05 is the Lower Cliff descent - a fine section of trail!
The braking bumps ruin it for me. There is actually a bit of off-piste just at the junction before you start this section. It rides like a shear drop.
You would love stile cop on the other side of the hill, free dh park with a push up, big jumps and good flowy lines

It looks like a good spot. The trails in my home town are just craggy rocks and roots in the woods. No berms. Is that a jump or some unmarked grave?

Yeh its free to ride, can be busy at times as familys go on it a lot. I never notice any biting insects there
cannock is also full of walkers and dog walkers but they don’t go on the mtb trails but sometimes in between trails u can see them
