Hey seatin. Great video, loves when you revisit old champs! Dorms synergies especially with sym supreme but also hela can increase his regen by up to 75%. And synergy with blade gives opponents 30% lower energy resistance which, since all he’s attacks are energy damage, is a solid damage increase.
Jeremy Gladstone, i love this strategy. But for some reason I only get 91 charges after 3 double mediums. But it’s good enough to detonate. Almost as if it’s 100 charges. I get instant 100 charges on opponent if they use any special. And then I detonate.
@@hunnid-01 There's a cooldown that you have to wait through for it to reactivate. It's been awhile, but I think the unstoppable and indestructible have a chance of activating when you use heavy. Occasionally only one would activate, but you can try again if you wait 10 seconds or so.
i just beat the uncollected carnage boss on 2.1 of the new event quest using my 4* dormammu, couldnt be happier! bleed and poison immune dealt with him great, and keeping him from using any of his specials was icing on the cake, his ability to keep the enemy from ever getting a sp3 is fantastic imo!
If you don’t end on a medium, before you launch the SP2, you power burn every bit of it and still get the power lock. He is who I used in Act 5 for that very path.
Dormammu's immunity is disgustingly underrated. With mephisto synergy, he can handle Bleed, poison, shock, incinerate and frostbite. I am sure half the players never knew this

Not worth it Imo. I have him as a five* as well, the only thing he gains is regen. I almost used a science gem on my Yellow Jacket. Two pulls later I got a Void, so just be patient. I'm sure you will get something good eventually. 👍

@@MrBears1024 I mean he's decent duped but if you compare him to a Doctor Doom or a Magik I don't feel like he really holds up. His utility is a bit convoluted to use effectively imo. If Scarlet Witch ever gets added to the 5* hero pool she would be awesome. But if you prefer his playstyle by all means, don't let me stop you.
One thing mentioned briefly but not showcased in the video is that dormammu’s basic attacks deal energy damage, which makes him a great Korg counter! Used my 6* dorm anytime there was a Korg in Variant 2
Glad to see Dormm get some attention again. I think he quit getting attention with end of his run as aq boss and blade (plus it seems like you used to have to double dodge back on the heavy in some cases and now it's always one so the passive is less punishing. Like how cables heavy reach used to seem to reach farther, idk if that was a thing or my imagination). But he has so many utility uses like you said, even beyond obvious stuff like hyperion. If you know where to look - try him in the 6.1.5 power struggle paths on the xbones quest so many find hard ;) . Double immunity is bonus for that mission. You'll cheese the paths super hard with his drain. Def underrated
seatin I remember back in the day before I stopped playing the game for a while I remember dormammu having insane reach with his heavy so I went back and watch your video on him. he had doctor octopus ranges on that heavy and they function pretty similar with their heavy burst damage function and they both have power control and they came out with in months of each other. "coincidence I think not" edit ( if only we had the doctor octopus cycle with dormmamu)
If they improve his base stats a bit(more crit damage/rate , more block proficiency. as well) and also a bit more damage potential based on amount of dark energy he has..he would become a solid champ
Hey Seatin, did you know? What Makes the War Machine fight so annoying is that he starts the fight with 24 furies, and has an unblockable sp1 as well. Wasn't aware of that, thanks for remind me that 3x times in the same video!

Pulled him as my 1st 5* on my 2nd acct and duped him on my 2nd 5* crystal lol some luck. That beast got me through act 4 and some of the way to the collector. Hes definitely got utility. High Demi-god he is! And pulled him a couple more times since then too.

Hey Seatin, i just did Master Difficulty Mojo and he nullified my Thing. Thing is immune to nullify. Is it a bug or does Mojo bypass nullify immunity is WAI ?
His damage should be increased. Other wise great champ . Very underrated. Go on biohazard with Warlock-ultron synergy with dorm :) . Also there is mephisto synergy that decreases shock damage to a great degree. You can actuall gain health with it and willpower
Dormmamu is one of the forgoten heroes , which is, still, a good hero to play with, and, it does decent damage, without any special moves to be made ;-)
Dormammu is my favorite champ in this game visually and with all of his utility to the point where he’s my profile image in the forums and has been since he came out. Yet, I can’t get a dormammu hogher than 3*...i even had to use the 3* max sig crystal on him back when they had that AND a mystic awakening gem.
I just pulled Dormammu as my 5th 6* and I’m using this video to convince myself that it wasn’t the worst thing that could’ve happened lol Also you can use his Sp1 imbued effect to nullify all of War Machine’s buffs
theyre looking to buff Dorm along with Drax. Dorm is personally my favorite mystic in the game, top 5 on my list in the game... hopefully they bump his degen and his damage a little bit...that alone along with incinerate immunity would add more value to him.

Catedrátrico de Barsa his heavy does a ton of damage when powered up. I’ve seen the 5* rank 5 do 20k damage in 1 heavy.

You don't need to bait specials to get imbued you can do it with double mediums.
