This "Petite Fanfare" by Swiss composer Frank Martin (1890-1974) was originally written in 1945. In 1960, Martin expanded it by adding the opening section. As the work has never been recorded commercially, this fine performance -- which actually begins at 2:40 -- is very welcome! 🙂
