    So if Mulgrew bullied Jeri for so long, I wonder why no one at the set, like crew or cast, did something about it?

      Because their off-set friction made for good on-screen drama. Whenever their characters would come into conflict, it probably came off as more authentic (as the actors had friction in real life). Producers can and will often turn that type of friction to their advantage.

      They had no bargaining power. All the press went to Mulgrew and if they spoke out, they would have ended up as a redshirt. When Jeri came in, she split the press between her and Mulgrew so it was two power players and silent powerless bystanders

      Just like in any work place it's their business and they don't want to be involved. They're more concerned about their own jobs and own lives they have to take care of
