WARNING ABOUT HAYRACK!!! We decided to use her hay rack idea and bought that exact Ikea item "Observator." We hung it above the litter box, and it seemed perfect. Then our brand new bunny got her head stuck inside of it from the bottom on only the second night. We were nearby and able to free her in just a few seconds, but she struggled so hard while she was stuck that she broke her own back. Part of her vertebrae descended down onto her organs, so we had to euthanize her. Be very careful when you buy anything with gaps that are close to their head size, this goes for playpens as well. I found out after it happened to us that it is a very common accident that gets overlooked a lot.
So sorry that's so sad. I was thinking when looking at it there's even some hay racks specifically for rabbits that don't look safe. Think wooden ones with a hole are a safer option
You should do a video of just lennon doing things in the house that just makes you go "Aw". Or like when bunnies when go on their hind paws to try to reach a treat or something.

Be patient and leave her alone. My rabbit is now two years old (I know!) and he just started to let me pet him a lot! :) He didn't want to get pet at all before. I wish that for you too.
I have a Flemish giant and her “house” is a XL dog cage - the biggest one available. I leave the door open so she can roam around. Litter box is attached to the corner of her cage with a fuzzy pipe-cleaner from the dollar store. Heavy weighted food dish for her pellets, regular pet-water-dispenser on her cage, lots of toys. My favourite toys for her are actually bird toys. I give her the wooden toys, just hang them on the side of her cage, low enough to chew on. She also likes toilet paper rolls to chew on. Stuff them with hay :). She has a cat-tunnel from the dollar store. I like the hay-rack idea a lot, and the bunny-bed!
I have the bins I use as a litter box and the white wooden bed! My bunnies love it! I also have a grey carpet w lines it’s only $12.99 or so and use it to protect the actual carpet in my room/use it for the bunnies area. I also have a runner for my other bunny to protect the carpet there and it’s only $7or so:)

I find things in the Ferrit and bird isle my bunny likes. I have to remove things like bells or feathers but thats ok. If Mr. Spock likes it, thats all that matters. Our bunnys are different, we know that,that is why we have them, yes finding things for them to play with or useful,can be hard. Great ideas! Too bad we dont have Ikea. Thats pretty much how we roll.
I work in a restaurant. Tons of boxes to bring home as well as vegetable trimmings that my rabbit loves. I went to PetCo and saw crazy expensive pet toys, but really, he just wants something to knock around. A toilet or towel paper tube, some hay, a cardboard box. Most pet things I think are catered to the pet owner not the actual pet.
Buck Rogers Thats the honest truth too. Give a bunny a paper towel tube or a wad of brown packing paper and they are all in. Go buy a $15 toy and they ignore it. Lol. The simple life of bunnys!
RC Hobbyist Extreme I've learned that some bunnies like bells, when I first got my Lionhead Lot Mix she came with a bell inside of a tire toy and she loved that thing but she kept eating the tire and I was forced to get rid of it

I bought the little trash bins from the pet section, and they work great for messes that Max makes! I also bought an amazing mini broom and dust pan for under $2!
So YES!!! I went ikea crazyyyy. So I also got (which you didn’t see/show) a wood basket to put all her toys in! Then instead of the all-famous Ikea bed, which I totally still want someday- I got a wine crate type box to make into that “hack” bed you did a video on! (Guilty, I got the same leg posts you used in your video!) I got one of those cushions that were in the hidey house, it’s a little smaller than a standard crate bed, but I think Pumpkin still likes it! Then I got a couple of throw blankets, and from the kitchen section I got some air tight jars for treats, sticks, chews! Super cute organization! That $8 tunnel wasn’t on their website, or I would have got that! And the box style hidey house, but it wasn’t available for pick up or ship to nearby. Sad. But YESSSS to all of this!! ESP the cord covers, that’s next on my to-do as we transition to mostly free-roam time.
5:30 I bought that exact same box from my local IKEA for a litter box too! My bunny is 70% free roam in my Bedroom, so he was constantly tracking litter and hay everywhere. After buying that litter box, (and I use a Yoga Mat for under it) I've had no problems with Litter being tracked!

I rescued a 3 year old rabbit about 2 months ago and he is the sweetest, most affectionate, adorable little guy on the planet. I also have a live in 'mini' pig and she's so curious of him. AiliseTheBunny definitely not a service dog! If anything it's an Emotional support dog. And technically they aren't allowed. They do not go through the same training

We didn't know she was pregnant and the babies were too big because she was a mini Rex and he was a bigger breed

I recently adopted a rabbit her previous owners weren’t looking after her so I adopted her she loves liking fingers for some odd reason 🤔🤔 anyway she was trapped in a tiny cage and never got any love as soon as she arrived we changed that. I also have another rabbit who is a big old gentle rabbit. I love them both so much 💕💕💕💕💕💕😀💕😀😀😀😀😀💕💕💕💕💕😀😀😀😀😀😀💕💕💕

The rounded litter box was perfect for my bunnies! They both fit in there perfectly, and they loved it so much! I had to through it out though because they chewed the sides down to the point that the litter and hay would fall out.

Our bunny name is Dutch, Holland Lops. He's 5 now. He has the little Doll bed which he loves. We also have the black recycling bins with tops to keep his food and hay in. He loves the little balls with bells inside he pushes across the floor.

I use the IKEA magazine holder as a corner table for my hamsters water dish, food dish, and sometimes their wheels :] (their water dishes are not deep, but it enables there natural instincts. I only put dried mealworms and herbs in their dish but I mainly scatter feed their seeds and plant stuff like chia, millet, flax, and sunflower around it a little.)
Woah, I didn't know they had pet section in Ikea, I wish Ikea in Netherlands had one too :( But there are other sections, we just need to be creative, this video was helpful :D

I just want to thank you. I have learned so many "Do's & Don'ts" from you and Lennon. I have a 6 month old white lionhead that we were told was a male so we named him "Snowball". We recently found that she was a female. I am now calling her "SnowBella" since its close and she's still little. She was spayed yesterday. I just wanted to send the 2 of you a Thank you note so that you know how much you're appreciated ❤.

I just got my sweet little bunny Orion yesterday! (Along with my driver's permit, yay!) And you've helped me so much already, all I need to do is start litter training her after getting a litter box!

@@bob8149 She passed away due to complications with pregnancy last year. A neighbor who had rabbits watched her and let their rabbits play but she wasn't spayed and he had a male rabbit... We didn't know she was pregnant and the babies were too big because she was a mini Rex and he was a bigger breed

I recently adopted a rabbit her previous owners weren’t looking after her so I adopted her she loves liking fingers for some odd reason 🤔🤔 anyway she was trapped in a tiny cage and never got any love as soon as she arrived we changed that. I also have another rabbit who is a big old gentle rabbit. I love them both so much 💕💕💕💕💕💕😀💕😀😀😀😀😀💕💕💕💕💕😀😀😀😀😀😀💕💕💕

My sister got one, but it wasn’t taken care of (not really her fault her apartment is really small) but I couldn’t bear it so I’m taking them I am currently making the, a rabbit “dream park” but it’s going great I’m going to post it on my insta later in the week if anyone wants to see
The rounded litter box was perfect for my bunnies! They both fit in there perfectly, and they loved it so much! I had to through it out though because they chewed the sides down to the point that the litter and hay would fall out.

I have 5 rabbits, and I’m planning moving them out to a bigger home than there crates from the pet store. I got the idea from you and I’m so exited to start this project because I know it will make there lives happier and healthier

crisp boxes free from my local convenience shop ! excellent hiding house , fleece blanket over it . and once they have chewed them they go in the recycling 😊

I have 2 guinea pigs Remi and Sugar and they love this channel as even though it is for bunnies they still get some of the awesome tips and tricks like the bed I put one of those adorable tipis and they love it so much when they free rome
Our bunny name is Dutch, Holland Lops. He's 5 now. He has the little Doll bed which he loves. We also have the black recycling bins with tops to keep his food and hay in. He loves the little balls with bells inside he pushes across the floor.

I use the IKEA magazine holder as a corner table for my hamsters water dish, food dish, and sometimes their wheels :] (their water dishes are not deep, but it enables there natural instincts. I only put dried mealworms and herbs in their dish but I mainly scatter feed their seeds and plant stuff like chia, millet, flax, and sunflower around it a little.)

yes lint rollers! and a good vacuum! i would love to see what vacuum you use and if it works well on getting pet hair off furniture and rugs. also how does lennon do with the sound of a vacuum?

I'm the same way I buy furniture That's Unique then after while everyone wants it then I don't want it anymore, I like things that are different from others we have something in common there and I love bunnies. Thanks for sharing the IKEA store who knew they had pet products. It's an old post but I just came across it today.
I just want to thank you. I have learned so many "Do's & Don'ts" from you and Lennon. I have a 6 month old white lionhead that we were told was a male so we named him "Snowball". We recently found that she was a female. I am now calling her "SnowBella" since its close and she's still little. She was spayed yesterday. I just wanted to send the 2 of you a Thank you note so that you know how much you're appreciated ❤.
This is perfect because I'm gonna be living in Sweden with my bunny and a lot of the rabbit companies don't ship to there :( But of course IKEA is there, so it's perfect!
