6:53 actually, Eratosthenes proved 2500 years ago that the earth is round using a stick and his brain, so it was common knowledge that the earth was round, even during the middle ages. But in the middle of the 19th century, some American guy formulated the theory that the earth is actually flat and started this absurd belief. So back in Antiquity, they actually had our understanding.

Original flat earth depictions were actually “firmament" in most religious books, but then shortly it disappeared. In the 18th century, some guy with a tag of “Parallax" made what we know as the flat earth society and the 8in/mi² calculation.

The earth is definitely not flat. I get how people in the past before we had rockets, before people thought it was flat and even thought that you could fall off it since they didn’t have rockets no one could prove that earth was a sphere, but now that we have rockets, there’s no reason to say that the earth is flat(because it’s not).

-Earth was the only planet formed differently.
-Gravity is spread equally through all the earth's surface
-The sun is probally colder than the real one.

Even if the earth was flat, gravity is pulled from the center of the earth so over time it would still turn into a sphere.
Gravity does not exist. never proven. Only a religious belief.
Objects fall or rise based on their relative density to the medium surrounding them.
Apples fall because they are denser than the air, while helium balloons rise because they are lighter than the air. No "gravity" needed.
Raindrops fall down through the air and air-bubbles rise up through water. Everything seeks its relative density and rises or falls until settling accordingly.
This is why a tiny pebble sinks to the bottom of the ocean, but gigantic cruise-ships and aircraft carriers stay afloat on the surface, because even though a pebble is so small, its mass relative to its volume (its density) is more than water, so it sinks, and even though a cruise-ship is so large, its mass relative to its volume is less than water, so it floats.
If something has a higher density than the surrounding medium, it falls to the ground. Not because of a non-existent gravity. NO.
SPECIFICALLY because this thing does not have to spend energy if it falls.
If a thing would want to move upward or to the side, it would have to use energy for it or energy would have to come from the outside.
If there is no energy to lift or to move - the thing falls down.
It is as simple as that.
Density and Buoyancy explain everything.

4:36 They say gravity is the result of the entire plane accelerating upwards. You may think that if so the Earth will reach the speed of light in a year so that theory must be wrong, but actually that's when Einstein's Special Relativity plays its role to save flat earthers: an observer outside the plane will indeed see the Earth decelerating more and more to never reach the speed of light, but inside the plane that deceleration will be compensated with an insanely distortion of time so they never notice any difference because that year is actually never reached inside the Earth (they can live normally forever). So that does not negate a flat Earth. What does negate it is the fact that you can measure a different gravity at different heights, which is physically impossible with a plane accelerating but it is compatible with General Relativity. Of course they say that such measures are wrong. The definitive evidence against a flat Earth are the startrails, but that's a story for another comment.

One thing I noticed, if the sun and the moon are rotating around the earth like that, then how come the people experiencing night time can’t see the sun? If the earth is flat and the sun is floating on top of it, then it should be visible in the sky day and night.

Light only travels so far. Human eye can only see so far (It's
called the "vanishing point").
Sun does get smaller, however it's much less noticeable
from the ground because it's already a good distance away.
If you watch videos from a higher elevation the size difference is much more obvious.
There are videos online showing that if the sun is observed from groundlevel there is only a subtle decrease in the size of the sun.
The reason for this is that the sun is relatively far from the source already if located on ground level.
However, when the same thing is observed from a high level you can see a much for dramatic change in size as the the sun moves away.
In addition, there are much simpler ways to prove the globe model doesn't exist. For example, when you fly in a commercial airplane the the horizon rises to your eye level. Right there the globe model is dead. If it were a globe the horizon would drop as you rise.

We can now calculate the circumference of the circle.

2 x 7381.5 km x 3.14 = 46,355.82 km
The sun travels 46,355.82 km in one day when it is at 23.5 degrees north latitude. That is 1,931.5 km per hour. Just under 2000 kmh is about twice as fast as a passenger airplane.
At the equator, the sun travels in one day
111 km x 90 degrees x 2 x 3.14 = 62,793.72 kmh or 2,616.4 kmh
(Yes, they also cheated us with the length of the equator).
At the Tropic of Capricorn at 23.5 degrees south (distance to the North Pole 113.5 degrees), the sun travels in one day
113.5 degrees x 111 km x 2 x 3.1 = 79,118.58 kmh or 3,296.61 kmh
At the Tropic of Capricorn, the sun is 70% faster at the Tropic of Cancer.
In northern summer, i.e. our summer in Europe, the sun is closer to us at 23.5 degrees north. It does not come any further north. Here the sun has the lowest speed. These are long, warm days.
In the northern winter, the sun is furthest away from us Europeans and moves 70% faster = these are short, cold days here.
At the same time when it is northern winter here, it is southern summer in the south.
So within 180 days the sun moves from 23.5 degrees north SUMMER WITH US across the equator SPRING WITH US to 23.5 degrees south WINTER WITH US. When the sun has reached 23.5 degrees south, it is northern winter here and southern summer in the south.
Then the sun turns around at 23.5 degrees south SOUTH SUMMER IN THEM, crosses the equator after 3 months SOUTH AUTUMN IN THEM and after another six months is back at 23.5 degrees north.SOUTH WINTER IN THEM.
Here it's northern summer in the south it's southern winter.
As you can see, the sun's path to 23.5 degrees south is approx. 66% longer than the sun's path to 23.5 degrees north.
As the sun only has 24 hours for 1 orbit
the sun at 23.5 degrees south has to accelerate a lot.
In other words, every place at 23.5 degrees south receives significantly less heat than a place at 23.5 degrees north.
The sun has to be much faster at 23.5 degrees south than at 23.5 degrees north due to the much wider orbit. It is therefore much colder in the Antarctic than in the Arctic because the Antarctic region receives much less sunlight than the Arctic. Average annual Arctic temperature around zero degrees Celsius, average annual Antarctic temperature minus 32 degrees Celsius.

And Im just here wondering how I’m not getting launched into the middle of the earth because most of earth’s gravity is focused in the middle. This means walking further from the middle of the earth would mean that I would feel like going up a mountain, which means all the water would be focused in this large giant blob. Hey Space Chip, I want to get a space game but I am unsure if I should get Space Engine or Universe Sandbox. It would be really helpful to have your opinion on it!
I can provide my view: Space Engine gives you infinite freedom to simply click at any dot in space and go to it, you can edit planets, get textures, fly around but that's it, you simply explore the infinite universe of space engine fully procedural. Universe Sandbox is way more limited, ou can get bored quickly playing both depends of your creativity, but, you can manipulate planets, make collisions, build a solar system. Both are unique games and from that point you its up to you to know what fits you better, space exploration with some limited editing (you can manipulate the space around you in space engine but it's limited, it's not like in universe sandbox where you can do anything and even collide planets or create a custom solar system for fun. I recommend Universe Sandbox, though if you want a complex game about space with a plenty ton of mods I recommend Kerbal Space Program, BUT it's my unasked opinion and point of views, it's up to you, sorry for answering though, you asked chip first so 😂😂😂🎉 cheers

So when it comes to flats Earth the curvature of Earth when seen in a video or when seen from a airplane is created by the fishbowl effect which when a glass is naturally round then when it is use it makes the object look curve when it's not. They use a fishbowl to show people how if you put a fish bowl on a table it look inside the fishbowl then you can see the table curve by the band of the light going through the fish bowl. Are they say all cameras and videos, and windows are curved like a fishbowl so when you are high up looking through a airplane window or take a video it recreates the curve that you see because the glass is curve making the fishbowl effect. Just want to clarify this is not why I think I'll just letting you know that is why flat earthers thinks how videos make earth looks like it curves.

If the Earth was flat, then if you were on Antarctica, the distance between the cloud in the ground would look black because the atmosphere wouldn’t be on the bottom it’s just like a blanket covering the whole earth if it was flat, but since it’s around, you wouldn’t say black in between the clouds and the ground
