    We owe you a beer!! After having our brakes serviced by a very $$$ shop in Colorado, we drove 2k miles across the country, and only today did we need 4x4 after a big snowstorm. But no matter how hard we twisted, we couldn't lock the hubs in! Following this tutorial on our 2007 Fg140, we realized that the skinny washer and driven gear were installed in the wrong order, and then the outer plate was also installed wrong- which meant we'd driven the last few thousand miles with our front wheels driving the axles. Rebuilt today, and the hubs seem to lock in and out as expected, so hoping we didn't wear the axle assemblies too bad. Thank you so much for this, and all the other videos you put together for the Fuso platform!

      Awesome - so glad it was able to help - this is exactly the reason why I wanted to put this out there - it’s such a simple thing to get in the wrong order! Hope the rest of your adventure goes more smoothly!

      It’ll be a hard day if/when I have to sell this truck - the number of hours I’m putting into it are unrecoverable. I feel for you!

    Hi Bruce, have you done the front brake shoe replacement video? I can't seem to find it.
    Cheers, ScottyT from Oz.

    Have you ever pulled the hub off? Do you have an idea how that's removed?

    • @BruceandKrista
      @BruceandKrista  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, if I recall you remove the six bolts in the freewheel hub, (holding the hub on), then re-use two of them in the threaded holes to force it off. Once the freewheel hub is removed, there is a round plate with two 10mm bolts - similar to what is used in the rear brakes. With those removed the wheel hub is free to come off. One day I’ll get to that video!

      I have not seen this code - could it be related to the crank shaft position sensor?

    Sir is this the same to 4d35 Mitsubishi car ? Cause i try that pattern to my car but it still grinding

    • @BruceandKrista
      @BruceandKrista  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can not confirm if it is identical (some parts may differ slightly, if the axle splines are different for example) - but the assembly sequence should be very similar if not the same. Is the grinding sound coming from the wheel/hub, the differential, or the transfer case?
