Notes:
0:26 - In this stream, each of the boys anonymously submitted a cringe story from their childhood, and they debated, trying to figure out whose story was who's. During this debate, Kaoru did mention that he also played MapleStory in his youth.
6:36 - In this early chat stream, Izuru talked about MapleStory for about 45-50 minutes. He also talked about common it was for people to scam each other when buying NX or Cash items for mesos - one party would give their end of the deal, then the other party would leave, but I decided to cut it out to keep this segment at a reasonable length.
12:56 - Temma did ask the person in chat what game they played - it was Genshin Impact that they were playing for 15 hours every day.
16:06 - From what I could dig up from the JMS community, "screenshot scamming" was a scam where somebody would ask for you to drop your item beacuse they wanted to take a screenshot of it, only for them or an accomplice to snatch the item while it was on the ground.
44:44 - Romeo and Juliet PQ has only ever had pendants as equip rewards - when it comes to earrings, there are the Altair Earrings from Ellin Forest PQ.
52:24 - To be more specific, Burning characters level up 3 times when filling up the EXP bar instead of the standard 1 time - at the time of writing, until the end of August 2023, you can make a Hyper Burning character that enjoys this benefit until Lv. 250, and creating a Khali, the newest class, will make a Tera Burning character that gets this benefit until Lv. 200.
This is a project I chipped away at my free time - recreating Maple sprites and animations, like the ones at 22:43 and 41:22, was particularly time consuming, but also satisfying!

Absolute God-tier clip. The effort it must've taken to find all the different streams, fully edit and sub them into a 55 minute long video, and even going as far as making an in-game character for every single member. This is a piece of art. Thank you very much for making this!
I never grew up with Maplestory, but damn, 55mins of it in holopro!

BannedStory 4 is no longer available, but the offline version of BannedStory 3 does still work if you're able to download it.
The character sprites were created in maples.im/, a spiritual successor of sorts - the skill effects used in some animations were taken from BannedStory 3.

I wonder when they all played MapleStory, because the beta and early days were so much different than what it turned into. I played from the Beta all the way to the 4th job release, and the game just got progressively worse as time went on. I remember the Beta days when there was a Balrog in the sleepywood caves and that was the endgame content. No airship or other worlds. Just one balrog every like 3 hours, and if you werent doing that then you were looking for the big mushroom boss.
