O'boy, I get goose pimples when I listen to these two incredible musicians. They must be the world's greatest female steelguitar players. I just love them !!
Look up a pair of sister performing under the name 'Larkin Poe'. They do blues/roots music/whatever. Megan the lap steel player is pretty awesome. They both can play and sing really well. Toured with Elvis Costello for a time.
holy shoot, cindy is just ripping it up. and repping a shirt from my hometown where she lived for many years :) also love the drummer's playing, big respect for playing the perfect rhythmic support role without ego and I won't point out the obvious for how awesome rose's playing is!!!
Hey Rose, great to find you on TH-cam, and even greater to find you GREAT! Remember back at Reece Anderson's? I wish I'd improved on the Steel like you have, always knew you would..good on yer gal, big hug from the UK - Hx
Pity there is not much Noel Boggs to watch and listen to really. He had technique to spare and then some! These two gals are terrific. Always loved Cindy's playing. Another great steel player nobody mentions these days was Vance Terry who played with old Bob in his Decca days. And then there was Roy Hunnicutt, Speedy West, Herb Remington, Bobby Garrett, Don Davis............
That custom-made lap steel looks somewhat off-balance, shaky and uncomfortable in Cindy's lap, but it's not hurtin' her playin' none! Dunno if it's the pickups or her amp, but Cindy's tone definitely cuts through a bit better than Rose's.
In my mind, I think the steel guitars gonna be what we hear in heaven.
Remember this sound in N Texas in early 70's while stationed there. Thaks ya'll.
Good golly, this is just pure heaven!!!

These two are great non pedal steel guitar players!!! This is not a easy instrument to play.
VERY GOOD
I came here for the blonde and stayed for the music!!
Cindy Cashdollar is Really supurb on steel guitar; she swings like in the old days, when Bill Boyd or Bob Wills were hot.

I only give em two thumbs up cause, I only got two thumbs...Bill
VERY GOOD
