Ah the mighty super blues way, wasn't there some talk about a station halt being put in when the stadium opened, I agree with you though that a station would be great, it would help the away fans out as well no end.
There is well over 1000 houses been built in the area probably closer to 1,500. There's a big business park, a big retail park, huge garden centre, 3 big supermarkets and a football stadium that on average gets 6 to 6,500 people during a season with 9,500 odd at big games. 2 large carehomes for the OAPs. Its screaming out for such a railway station to be built. More homes likely to be built. It would definately get well used 7 days a week and be worth the money. Same goes for the other end of town. Two parkway stations to replace the park and rides, makes complete sense to me.
