Ive got a a small modest heuer collection, gotta 1964 heuer carrera re -ed not the chrono but the Gmt blk dial on perf blk lea orig strap, put a Blk lea Bund piece under beefed up that 35mm case looks great give it a try with that DATO of yours perhaps ?, funny thing is its a re-ed of a watch they never made, go figure? gotta Heuer 1000 series blk dial diver 980.013, abt 35mm too, and a heuer orig Verona, no not the chrono, I wish, two tone three hander, still pretty nice, also (80.004 diver , 40mm very rare , but not very valuable. late 70s model diver , very clean style , modern size , super wearable , versatile when it comes to straps too. lea, shark mesh , rubber all look ok on it, lots of wrist time,
Type in " Bnd Mercedes Chase Scene" , it will come up, check it out , Lazanby his only Bond film, Diana Rigg , Bonds only wife, he gets widowed shortly after theyre wed, very sad scene.
Whoa, that DATO is sweet, pick of the litter, one eyed Pandas Rule ! great video with intelligent commentary , thank you Sir, wish theyd do a Re-ed. of that one , I mean how many MONOCO variations are they gonna do???, Monocos are a beast , look best in the box not on wrist unless youre Arnold or Steve, Monzas got bigger too on the second round of Re-ed s , Monza ibig Clunker now too. Ever see a Silverstone Re-ed ? looks like a 90s big screen TV . much larger than the orig. just like the newer Monza. Prob. better for the track but realistically how many of us are race car drivers? armchair dreamers perhaps. Impeach The BEAV , and re-install Mr Jack. just an idea.
It's honestly one of my favorite Heuers ever created... it's not too big and the 45 minute counter is such a cool thing.. it's not 30... not 35... but 45... and the single counter is so sweet and eye-catching!!! thanks for the kind words, my man! Stay tuned we have some awesome episodes in store!
Fin tail dont see to many of those anymore , about as rare as that dato of yours, recall seeing them in an older Bond film , Ski resort or bobsled chase scene, good looking automobile goes well with your dato.
What are you drivin? is that a late 60s or early 70s Mercedes , judging from the rise in the dash it looks like a 280 or 300 SEL? 1970-73 ? am I close?

What are some other single subdial chronographs? It seems to be very few of them.

I would’ve assumed it got it’s name from the date being at 45.
