Yes I'm also facing same issue. For pdf reading use Google drive pdf viewer I can see full screen in landscape mode. And there's some app that open in small window in landscape mode so for that you can see 3 dot at top click on that and make the window floating and then again make the window full after this you can see that app in full screen in landscape mode. But this is not permanent solution everytime you have to do it. Wait for next update to be solved this problem

Go go settings Turn on developer mode and in developer mode check for "Turn on system optimisation" turn that on. See if this option is there or not. If not pad 5 might not support it.
